Great Crossing coach Matt Walls started the following lineup: 5-11 Sr. Ava Schureman, 5-8 Sr. Olivia Tierney, 6-1 Jr. Kennedy Harrison, 5-3 8th Grade Kendall Kearney, and 5-6 Jr. Jaelle Henderson. Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-7 Jr. Maleiyah Moore, 5-7 Jr. Nmya Summers, 6-0 So. Kierstin Young, 5-7 So. Dymon Percell, and 5-7 Sr. Kaylen Perry.

Great Crossing utilized their superiority on the boards in this game to earn an 81-54 victory over Scott County. Great Crossing shot 38.2% from the field including five of 13 from the three point line. The Lady Warhawks connected on 18 of 30 free throws, pulled down 64 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 13 Scott County turnovers. Scott County shot 25.3% from the field including five of 28 from beyond the arc. The Lady Cardinals connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 16 Great Crossing turnovers.

Ava Schureman led Great Crossing with 23 points including eight of 15 free throws, nine rebounds, two assists, and four steals. Olivia Tierney added 18 points including eight of 10 free throws, seven rebounds, and three assists. Kendall Kearney recorded 11 points including three three point baskets, 11 rebounds, and three assists. Kennedy Harrison recorded 10 points, 25 rebounds, and two blocked shots. Jaelle Henderson chipped in with seven points, four rebounds, and two steals. 5-5 Jr. Jenelle Henderson added seven points and six rebounds.

Kaylen Perry led Scott County with 18 points including three three point baskets, five of eight free throws, three rebounds, and two blocked shots. Dymon Percell added 10 points including two three point baskets. Maleiyah Moore recorded seven points and four steals. Kierstin Young chipped in with six points, 10 rebounds, two assists, seven blocked shots, and three steals. 5-8 Jr. Allison Mosby added six points and 5-8 So. Jessica Horn pulled down 11 rebounds.

Lexington Christian Academy coach Tim Bradshaw started the following lineup: 5-6 Jr. Ella Gabbert, 5-6 So. Jenny Bertram, 5-9 8th Grade Koko Castle, 5=6 Jr. Chapel Brown, and 5-7 Jr. Claire Roberts. Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-8 Fr. Addison Combs, 5-8 Jr. Belle Combs, 5-10 Jr. Tess Nelson, 5-5 So. Anna Clay Denton, and 5-5 Jr. Abbey Popham.

Lafayette trailed 37-36 after three quarters but rallied to defeat Lexington Christian Academy by the score of 50-44. The score was tied three times and there were four lead changes in the game. Lafayette shot 48.8% from the field including five of 18 from the three point line. The Lady Generals connected on five of six free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 10 LCA turnovers. LCA shot 35.1% frfom the field including nine of 21 from beyond the arc. The Lady Eagles connected on nine of 10 free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 11 Lafayette turnovers.

Abbey Popham led Lafayette with 14 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, three assists. Amd two steals. Belle Combs added 13 points, nine rebounds, and two steals. Tess Nelson recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and five assists. Anna Clay Denton chipped in with seven points and four assists.

Claire Roberts led LCA with 13 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, and two assists. Chapel Brown added 13 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, and three assists. Ella Gabbert recorded nine points on three three point baskets. Koko Castle chipped in with seven points including five of six free throws, and six rebounds.

Lexington Catholic earned a big win over Lafayette by the score of 44-39. There were seven ties and five lead changes in the game. Lexington Catholic shot 45% from the field including two of 15 from the three point line. The Lady Knights connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 15 Lafayette turnovers. Lafayette shot 30.4% from the field including five of 19 from beyond the arc. The Lady Generals connected on six of 12 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored four points off 17 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Lydia Kennedy led Lexington Catholic with 15 points, five rebounds, and two assists. 5-9 So. Payton Avilez added nine points and eight rebounds. Josey Cox recorded five points, four rebounds, and three assists. 5-9 So. Bella Bretz chipped in with five points and three rebounds.

Great Crossing defeated Male 65-63 in yet another victory over a very talented team. There were four lead changes and three ties in this game. Great Crossing shot 52.2% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line. The Warhawks connected on 13 of 17 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 11 Male turnovers. Male shot 44.2% from the field including 11 of 27 from beyond the arc. They connected on six of nine free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored seven points off eight Great Crossing turnovers.

Malachi Moreno led Great Crossing with 17 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, and two blocked shots. Vince Dawson III added 16 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Covington Catholic defeated DeSales in an 85-81 high scoring game in which both teams shot the ball extremely well. The score was tied twice and there were two lead changes in the game. Covington Catholic shot 54.5% from the field including 11 of 20 from the three point line. The Colonels connected on 14 of 20 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored seven points off seven DeSales turnovers. DeSales shot 55% from the field including 11 of 23 from beyond the arc. The Colts connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 11 Covington Catholic turnovers.

Brady Hussey led Covington Catholic with 27 points including six three point baskets, four rebounds, and four assists. Caden Miller added 18 points, 10 rebounds, and two blocked shots. Breland Morrison led a balanced George Rogers Clark scoring attack with 18 points including five of six free throws, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Marshall County trailed 47-41 after three quarters but outscored Green County 24-5 in the final quarter to earn a 65-52 victory. There were four ties and one lead change in the game. Marshall County shot 50% from the field including three of 10 from the three point line. The Marshals connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 11 Green County turnovers. Green County shot 40.4% from the field including four of 21 from beyond the arc. The Dragons connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 13 Marshall County turnovers.

Alex Staples led Marshall County with 22 points including four of five free throws, two rebounds, and three assists. Tommy Robertson added 12 points, four rebounds, and two assists. South Laurel utilized Jordan Mabe’s ability to get in the lane and score off the bounce and it worked flawlessly as Mabe scored 28 points including 14 of 21 from the free throw line. South Laurel shot 51.6% from the field including two of six from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on 28 of 39 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 14 Marshall County turnovers. Marshall County shot 39.5% from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc. The Marshals connected on 14 of 19 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored seven points off 11 South Laurel turnovers.

Jordan Mabe led South Laurel with 28 points, six rebounds, and two assists and was named Tournament MVP. Colton Rawlings added 12 points including seven of eight free throws, two blocked shots, and three steals. Jordan Steele recorded eight points including four of six free throws and two rebounds. Joshua Steele chipped in with seven points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots.

Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 6-0 Jr. ZaKiyah Johnson, 5-8 Sr. Claire Russell, 6-3 Sr. Angelina Pelayo, 5-4 Fr. Amirah Jordan, and 5-10 Sr. Reagan Bender.

Sidwell Friends Academy (DC) defeated Sacred Heart Academy by the score of 53-48. Sidwell Friends Academy (DC) shot 38.3% from the field including three of nine from the three point line. The Quakers connected on 14 of 18 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 21 Sacred Heart Academy turnovers. Sacred Heart Academy shot 31.3% from the field including two of 12 from beyond the arc. The Valkyries connected on 16 of 21 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 21 Sidwell Friends Academy turnovers.

Zania Socka led Sidwell Friends Academy with 22 points including eight of nine free throws, nine rebounds, two assists, three blocked shots, and two steals. Kendall Dudley added 16 points including two three point baskets, nine rebounds, two assists, and three blocked shots. Jayla Jackson recorded 13 points including four of six free throws, and three rebounds.

ZaKiyah Johnson led Sacred Heart Academy with 26 points including two three point baskets, six of six free throws, and three rebounds. Claire Russell added seven points and six rebounds. Amirah Jordan recorded six points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Reagan Bender chipped in with five points on five of six free throws, three rebounds, two assists, and three steals.
