Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-4 So. Jackson Stephan, 6-2 Sr. Isaiah Stephan, 6-5 Jr. Hassan Bush, 6-0 Jr. Kayson Brown, and 6-1 Jr. AJ Dixon. Scott County coach Tim Glenn countered with 6-2 Jr. Ben Glenn, 6-1 Jr. Tristan Christopher, 6-5 Jr. Preston Luckett, 5-7 Jr. Xyier Wray, and 5-8 So. Phillip Grimes.
Scott County trailed 58-47 early in the final quarter but finished the game on a 20-4 run to earn a 67-62 victory over Henry Clay. There were five lead changes and seven ties in this game. Scott County shot 60.9% from the field including five of 13 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 11 Henry Clay turnovers. Henry Clay shot 45.8% from the field including seven of 23 from beyond the arc. The Blue Devils connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 11 points off nine Scott County turnovers.
Ben Glenn led Scott County with 18 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds. Xyier Wray added 13 points, four rebounds, and five assists. Tristan Christopher recorded 11 points, two rebounds, and four assists. Phillip Grimes chipped in with 10 points and three assists.
Jackson Stephan led Henry Clay with 20 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, and four assists. AJ Dixon added 18 points including three three point baskets, and four rebounds. Hassan Bush recorded 12 points and six rebounds. Kayson Brown chipped in with eight points and five assists.
