South Oldham defeated previously unbeaten Woodford County 32-27 in the closing seconds on a six yard touchdown pass from Ethan Arnold to Julian Miles. Woodford County had one last opportunity but Justus Wertzler’s last gasp attempt was caught but was yards short of the goal line. South Oldham recorded 322 yards of total offense while Woodford County recorded 309 yards but had two passes intercepted.

Julian Miles led South Oldham’s ground game with 73 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries. Ethan Arnold added 57 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. Luke Hatcher recorded 37 yards on 12 carries. Evan Hickerson added 25 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Ethan Arnold completed six of 10 passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns. Julian Miles caught five passes for 78 yards and two touchdowns. Max Masden added one reception for 38 yards. Sam Dawson led the defense with three solo and six assisted tackles. Caleb Jones added two solo and three assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 39 yards. Kole Greenwell also recorded two solo and three assisted tackles. Davis Larsen added one solo and three assisted tackles and intercepted one pass he returned 20 yards. Nate McCleese chipped in with one solo and three assisted tackles.

Jaiden Shegog led Woodford County’s ground game with 24 yards on three carries. Justus Wertzler carried the ball four times for 21 yards and two touchdowns. Wyatt Crowe chipped in with 10 yards on five carries. Justus Wertzler completed 12 of 18 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions. Wyatt Crowe caught four passes for 84 yards. Mekhi Smith added three receptions for 77 yards. Omari Jointer recorded three receptions for 50 yards and one touchdown. Jalen Johnson added two receptions for 42 yards and a touchdown. Graham Hodge led the defense with 13 solo and five assisted tackles. Dayvion Sturgis added nine solo and four assisted tackles. Reese Allen recorded nine solo and three assisted tackles. Wyatt Peters chipped in with seven solo and one assisted tackles. Jaiden Shegog recorded five solo tackles.

Belfry defeated Lawrence County by the score of 49-12. The Pirates scored in a variety of ways including on the ground, through the air, kick off return, interception return, and a fumble recovery return. Belfry recorded 243 yards of total offense while Lawrence County recorded 212 yards of total offense.

JJ Austin led Belfry’s ground game with 78 yards on 11 carries. Ace Caudill carried the ball five times for 32 yards and a touchdown. JB Woolum recorded 29 yards and a touchdown on five carries. Hunter Hylton chipped in with 14 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Chase Varney completed four of six passes for 84 yards and a touchdown. Eli Caudill caught two passes for 58 yards. Cayden Varney caught a 22 yard touchdown pass. JJ Austin scored on a 60 yard kick off return. Keaton Deskins led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles. Tristan Chapmen added three solo and one assisted tackles and scored on a 30 yard fumble recovery return. Cayden Varney added two solo and three assisted tackles. JB Woolum recorded two solo and two assisted tackles and scored on a 60 yard interception return. Eli Caudill and Dante Davis also recorded two solo and two assisted tackles.

Luke Fetherholf led Lawrence County’s ground game with 30 yards on six carries. Connar York carried the ball nine times for 21 yards. Luke Fetherholf completed 15 of 24 passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions. Andrew Ratcliff caught two passes for 52 yards and a touchdown. Carlo Chicko added three receptions for 38 yards. Kaden Johnson recorded three catches for 30 yards and a touchdown. Gray Derifield chipped in with seven receptions for 26 yards.

Covington Catholic defeated Grant County by the score of 54-0. Covington Catholic recorded 11 first downs and 296 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized twice for 10 yards. Grant County recorded four first downs and 73 yards of total offense. The Braves were penalized twice for 10 yards, lost one fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Dylan Gaiser led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 55 yards and two touchdowns on three carries. Cash Harney carried the ball twice for 33 yards and a touchdown. Mason Brandner and Emmitt Queen also ran for one touchdown each. Cash Harney completed seven of 11 passes for 111 yards and two touchdowns. Brady Guard caught two passes for 51 yards. Oliver Link added two receptions for 40 yards and two touchdowns. Nicholas Krallman led the defense with three solo tackles. Owen Pitzer, Brady Guard, Will Danneman, Gabe Weis, and Gabe Weaver each recorded two solo tackles. Ming Wong-Miller added two solo and one assisted tackles. Luke Lampe intercepted a pass he returned 45 yards. Will Danneman intercepted a pass he returned three yards. Andrew Bessler recovered a fumble and Jackson Payne returned a teammmate’s fumble for 37 yards and a touchdown.

Bryson Webster led Grant County’s ground game with 36 yards on seven carries. Dillon Baker carried the ball 10 times for 17 yards. Dillon Baker completed one of two passes for seven yards with one interception. Wyatt Hucker caught one pass for seven yards. Bryson Webster returned seven kickoffs for 144 yards with a long return of 44 yards. Ethan Harris and Mark Rice led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles each. Justin Ball added three solo and one assisted tackles.

St. Xavier took a 31-10 lead early in the third quarter and survived a Ryle rally to earn a 31-24 decision over the visiting Raiders. St. Xavier recorded 358 yards of total offense. Ryle recorded 385 yards of total offense, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted/

Marlon Harbin III led St. Xavier’s ground game with 109 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries. Mason Trimble carried the ball seven times for 24 yards. Mason Trimble completed 15 of 22 passes for 227 yards and two touchdowns. Anthony Barbee caught three passes for 85 yards and a touchdown. Lucas Shelton added four receptions for 59 yards. Kyle Krupp recorded six receptions for 24 yards and a touchdown. Korey Tutt added the defense with one solo and 11 assisted tackles and recorded one sack. Karsten Busch added three solo and two assisted tackles and recorded two sacks. Benjamin Pinkston recorded four solo and one assisted tackles. Adam Buehner recovered a fumble and Rocco Poynter intercepted a pass he returned 14 yards.

Nathan Verax led Ryle’s ground game with 71 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. Jacob Savage added 53 yards on 12 carries. Jaden Galicia recorded 19 yards on six carries. Pikeville took an early 14-0 lead but Ironton rallied to enter the final quarter tied 27-27, and outscored Pikeville 21-6 in the final quarter to earn a 48-33 victory on the road. Ironton (OH) recorded 13 first downs and 315 yards of total offense. The Fighting Tigers were penalized nine times for 75 yards and lost a fumble. Pike ville recorded 16 first downs and 326 yards of total offense. The Panthers were penalized three times for 35 yards and had three passes intercepted.

Shaun Terry led Ironton’s ground game with 99 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Tyler Carmon added 50 yards and a touchdown on six carries. Braden Schreck recorded 45 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries. Zayne Williams chipped in with 36 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. Braden Schreck completed 12 of 19 passes for 85 yards and two touchdowns. Braylon Baker caught three passes for 34 yards. Shaun Terry added four receptions for 14 yards and a touchdown. Greenup County defeated Boyd County by the score of 42-37. Greenup County QB scored all 42 points on six touchdowns and three two point conversion runs and made a late interception to ensure the victory. Greenup County recorded eight first downs and 435 yards of total offense. The Musketeers were penalozed four times for 35 yards. Boyd County recorded 21 first downs and 439 yards of total offense. The Lions were penalized five times for 35 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Tyson Sammons led Greenup County’s ground game with 248 yards and six touchdowns on 15 carries. Austin Walker carried the ball seven times for 26 yards. Tyson Sammons completed eight of 12 passes for 153 yards. Jasper Davis caught three passes for 66 yards. Drew Boggs added three receptions for 45 yards. Austin Walker caught one pass for 33 yards. Tyson Sammons and Drew Boggs each recorded one interception.

Cooper had too much offensive firepower tonight and defeated Conner by the score of 42-17 in a game that featured a lot of star power including the two quarterbacks (Cam O’Hara of Cooper and Wyatt Hatfield of Conner). Cooper recorded 26 first downs and 440 yards of total offense. The Jaguars were penalized twice for 10 yards. Conner recorded 18 first downs and 306 yards of total offense. The Cougars were penalized five times for 41 yards and had one pass intercepted.

Keagan Maher led Cooper’s ground game with 123 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries. Cam O’Hara carried the ball seven times for 28 yards. Ryker Campbell recorded 26 yards on one carry. Cam O’Hara completed 18 of 21 passes for 261 yards and four touchdowns. Jaiden Combs caught five passes for 74 yards. Austin Alexander added five receptions for 48 yards and a touchdown. Isaiah Johnson recorded three receptions for 68 yards and two touchdowns. Malachi Ewell chipped in with three receptions for 37 yards an da touchdown.

Wyatt Hatfield led Conner’s ground game with 186 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries. Cordion Abernathy carried the ball 12 times for 38 yards. Wyatt Hatfield completed four of 12 passes for 68 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Chase Caplinger caught three passes for 41 yards. Chase Bailey caught a 27 yard touchdown pass. Ayden Depenbrock and Chase Bailey each recorded five solo tackles to lead the defense. Shepherd Dozier added four solo tackles. Bryson Haaser recorded three solo tackles and also recorded a sack.

Male utilized the big play explosiveness of Antonio Harris (3 TD receptions in the first half) to take a 21-14 halftime lead and hold on in the second half to eke out a 31-28 over Frederick Douglass on the road. Male recorded 14 first downs and 336 yards of total offense. The Bulldogs were penalized four times for 36 yards. Frederick Douglass recorded 11 first downs and 323 yards of total offense. The Broncos were penalized five times for 79 yards and lost a fumble.

Chayce Burton led Male’s ground game with 59 yards on 21 carries. Antonio Harris carried the ball four times for 18 yards. Jordan Williams completed 16 of 22 passes for 257 yards and four touchdowns. Antonio Harris caught five passes for 137 yards and three touchdowns. Camden Angelini added four receptions for 35 yards and a touchdown. Colin Jefferson recorded three receptions for 24 yards. Chayce Burton caught two passes for 56 yards. Steron Davidson returned one kickoff for 31 yards. Tyson Mimms returned three kickoffs for 60 yards with a long return of 22 yards. Colin Jefferson led the defense with five solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Cornelious Williams and Solomon Conley each recorded two solo and four assisted tackles. Christian White added one solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss. Javeon Dorsey recovered a fumble.

Peyton Smith led Frederick Douglass; ground game with 75 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. Pharo Watts carried the ball six times for 56 yards and a touchdown. TayTay Allen recorded 45 yards on one carry. Jaxon Strautman completed five of 12 passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns. Aveion Chenault caught three passes for 104 yards and two touchdowns. Jeremiah Turner returned three kickoffs for 56 yards with a long return of 24 yards. Aveion Chenault returned one kickoff for 36 yards. Dakari Talbert returned one kickoff for 20 yards. Logan Busson led the defense with four solo and nine assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Kaden Clay added four solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Marcus Newcomb recorded two solo and six assisted tackles with four of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards.

Scott County utilized their ground attack (10.9 yards per carry) to defeat Anderson County by the score of 49-6. Scott County recorded 19 first downs and 386 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized six times for 40 yards. Anderson County recorded 12 first downs and 232 yards of total offense. The Bearcats were penalized eight times for 47 yards and had three passes intercepted.

Ali Hamdiyah led Scott County’s ground game with 102 yards and three touchdowns on six carries. Kayne Garrett carried the ball seven times for 86 yards and a touchdown. Timmy Emongo recorded 81 yards and a touchdown on four carries. Jayden Garrett also scored a touchdown on the ground. Andrew Hickey completed four of seven passes for 80 yards. Eli Lilly caught two passes for 33 yards. Timmy Emongo and Issac York each caught one pass for 29 and 18 yards respectively. Colt Fields returned two punts for 10 yards with a long return of 14 yards. Bryson Sanford returns one kickoff for 25 yards. Asher Brewer led the defense with five solo tackles and intercepted two passes he returned for 18 yards. Josh Greene added four solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards. Jackson Damron recorded two solo and four assisted tackles and scored on a 48 yard interception return. Colt Field chipped in with three solo and one assisted tackles. Bryson Sanford recorded three solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a six yard loss.

N. Wilson led Anderson County’s ground game with 57 yards on eight carries. Will Rhody carried the ball eight times for 52 yards. Eli Castle completed 13 of 22 passes for 132 yards and one touchdown with three interceptions. Braxton Mackey caught six passes for 71 yards. Hudson Degarmo added three receptions for 46 yards and a touchdown. N. Wilson returned four kickoffs for 74 yards with a long return of 26 yards. Collin Ballard, Braxton Mackey, and Will Rhody each returned one kickoff for 13, 12, and 11 yards respectively. Sam Samad led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles. Hudson Degarmo added three solo and one assisted tackles. Will Rhody recorded one solo and three assisted tackles.

Bryan Station dominated play on both sides of the ball as they rolled to a 52-6 victory over Henry Clay. Bryan Station recorded 17 first downs and 424 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized eight times for 53 yards, lost two fumbles, and had one pass intercepted. Henry Clay recorded four touchdowns and 84 yards of toyal offense. The Blue Devils were penalized three times for 18 yards, lost three fumbles, and had one pass intercepted.

Kalen Washington led Bryan Station’s ground game with 131 yards and three touchdowns on 13 carries. James Davis carried the ball three times for 19 yards and a touchdown. Avery Jihnson recorded 13 yards an da touchdown on three carries. James Davis completed 14 of 17 passes for 232 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Caleb Sheets completed two of two passes for 21 yards. Kamani Barbour caught four passes for 82 yards. Montae Ashford added four receptions for 28 yards. Demond Green recdorded two receptions for 90 yards and one touchdown. Jordan Haskins and Demond Green each returned one punt for 33 and 21 yards respectively. Zjalijuon White, Khristian Gerton, and Gustave Nzayikusu each recovered a fumble.

Zac Hoellein led Henry Clay’s ground game with 26 yards on five carries. Antoune Webb carried the ball once for 16 yards. Rohan Taylor completed seven of 14 passes for 36 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Luke DiNardo caught three passes for 17 yards and one touchdown. Zac Hoellein added one reception for 11 yards. Antoine Webb returned three kickoffs for 129 yards with a long return of 84 yards. Isaiah McQueen returned four kickoffs for 42 yards with a long return of 19 yards. Sincere Brooks-Davis led the defense with five solo tackles.
