Bryan Station came from behind to defeat Madison Central by the score of 14-10 despite a gallant effort by Madison Central who was playing without their starting QB Carson Herbst who was out because of an injury. Bryan Station recorded 11 first downs and 211 yard of total offense. The Defenders were penalized three times for 25 yards and had two passes intercepted. Madison Central recorded 13 first downs and 205 yards of total offense. The Indians were penalized four times for 55 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Kalen Washington led Bryan Station’s ground game with 139 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries. James Davis carried the ball four times for 42 yards. James Davis completed three of seven passes for 34 yards with two interceptions. Brayden Payne caught one pass for 19 yards. Montae Ashford added one reception for 11 yards. Kamani Barbour returned on kickoff for 41 yards. Taeandre Clark returned one kickoff for 23 yards. Kristian Gerton led the defense with seven solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss. Jordan Haskins added five solo and four assisted tackles. Joel Ndayisaba recorded five solo and three assisted tackles. Kaleb Bailey added four solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards. Taeandre Clark also recorded four solo and one assisted tackles. Zjalpjuon White recorded four solo tackles and intercepted two passes he returned for a total of 62 yards.

Bryant Mathis led Madison Central’s ground game with 127 yards on 21 carries. J. Pritchard carried the ball three times for 16 yards. Liam Dailey added 15 yards on five carries. D. Debruce recorded 14 yards on two carries. Liam Dailey was zero of six passing with one interception. Bryant Mathis completed one of two passes for four yards and a touchdown with one interception. Nathan Ogle caught one pass for four yards and a touchdown. Christen Brook returned one kickoff for 40 yards. Jeff Hairston returned two kickoffs for 36 yards with a long return of 24 yards. Sam Farmer led the defense with six solo and eight assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned seven yards. Derek McElwee added five solo and two assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards. Aiden Parker recorded two solo and three assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.

The score was tied 14-14 at halftime but Lafayette pulled away in the second half to earn a 38-22 victory over Paul Laurence Dunbar. Lafayette led 21-14 after three quarters and ensured the victory with two pick-six interception returns in the final quarter. Lafayette recorded 15 first downs and 307 Yards of total offense. The Generals were penalized nine times for 65 yards. Paul Laurence Dunbar recorded 14 first downs and 270 yards of total offense. The Bulldogs were penalized 13 times for 119 yards and had four interceptions.

H. Stephens led Lafayette’s ground game with 58 yards on seven carries. Triston Taylor carried the ball eight times for 51 yards and two touchdowns. Ransom Payton added 24 yards on four carries. Ransom Payton completed 15 of 24 passes for 161 yards and one touchdown. Triston Taylor caught five passes for 67 yards. C, Giannone added three receptions for 34 yards. J. Stephens recorded three receptions for 25 yards, H. Stephens added two receptions for 21 yards and a touchdown. J. Stephens returned two kickoffs for 37 yards with a long return of 28 yards. Matthew Hardin led the defense with five solo and six assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a five yard loss. Jackson Grantz added three solo and nine assisted tackles and intercepted two passes with 16 return yards including a touchdown return of 16 yards. Landon Baker recorded three solo and three assisted tackles. J. Stephens added three solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a seven yard loss and intercepted two passes with 24 return yards including a touchdown return of 24 yards.

Pacific Nduwayo led Dunbar’s ground game with 103 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries. Dominic Faulkner added 47 yards and a touchdown on two carries. Jayshawn Crosby recorded 32 yards on six carries. Elijah Lewis carried the ball three times for 12 yards and a touchdown. Steven Estepp completed five of 15 passes for 66 yards with four interceptions. Conner Norsworthy returned three kickoffs for 65 yard with a long return of 30 yards. Dominic Faulkner returned three kickoffs for 57 yards with a long return of 26 yards. Conner Norsworthy caught three passes for 41 yards. Ryan Barrett and Jayshawn Crosby each caught one pass fro 15 and 10 yard respectively. Kaleb Monroe led the defense with three solo and five assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a six yard loss. Laz Bowman added four solo and two assisted tackles. Luke Ayoob recorded three solo and four assisted tackles. Tristin Sampson chipped in with four solo and one assisted tackles.

Tates Creek trailed 17-7 at halftime but exploded for 31 points after the intermission to defeat Henry Clay by the score of 38-25. Tates Creek recorded 17 first downs and 496 yards of total offense. The Commodores were penalized nine times for 105 yards and had a pass intercepted. Henry Clay recorded 18 first downs and 362 yards of total offense. The Blue Devils were penalized five times for 45 yards,lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

BJ Evans led Tates Creek’s ground game with 325 yards and three touchdowns on 36 carries. Stephen Jones added 75 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Darnell Burnside completed six of nine passes for 84 yards and a touchdown with one interception. Kane Bell-Pinter caught two passes for 26 yards. Luke Cooper added two receptions for nine yards. JT Cooper added a 47 yard touchdown reception. Stephen Jones returned one kickoff for 39 yards. Kane Bell-Pointer returned three kickoffs for 65 yards with a long return of 26 yards. Detrell Johnson led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Jaysean Layne added five solo tackles. D. South Warren rallied from 10 points down in the final quarter to earn a 28-24 victory over Bowling Green. South Warren had to make two late defensive stands to ensure the victory. South Warren recorded 327 yards of total offense and had three passes intercepted. Bowling Green recorded 327 yards of total offense and had two passes intercepted.

Kaden York led South Warren’s ground game with 41 yards on 15 carries. Bryce Button carried the ball 10 times for 21 yards and one touchdown. Bryce Button completed 20 of 30 passes for 306 yards and three touchdowns with three interceptions. Colton Veltkamp caught seven passes for 140 yards and two touchdowns. Jake Carter added five receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown. Justin Capps recorded one reception for 34 yards. Camden Page chipped in with two receptions for 33 yards. Bradyn Martin led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles. Colton Veltkamp recorded five solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned nine yards. Kaden York added two solo and four assisted tackles and Joseph Fentress intercepted a pass.

Deuce Bailey led Bowling Green’s ground game with 38 yards on six carries. Montravion Graham carried the ball six times for 27 yards. Deuce Bailey completed 14 of 30 passes for 253 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions. Trevy Barber caught eight passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns. Christopher Sweeney added two receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown. Jaxen Smith recorded three receptions for 45 yards. Montez Trussell led the defense with four solo and seven assisted tackles. The Lions were penalized five times for 40 yards and lost a fumble. Rowan County recorded 14 first downs and 297 yards of total offense. The Vikings were penalized three times for 18 yards and had four passes intercepted.

Marcus Brumfield led Boyd County’s ground game with 127 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries. Erik Germann carried the ball twice for 23 yards. Hunter Hedrick recorded 13 yards on two carries. John Walters carried the ball once for four yards and a touchdown. Rhett Holbrook chipped in with two yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Rhett Holbrook completed six of 10 passes for 48 yards and two touchdowns. Marcus Brumfield completed two of two passes for 14 yards. Kaleb Kelley caught two passes for 19 yards. Ryle was clicking on all cylinders tonight with a balanced running and passing offense and a stingy defense that limited the high octane Great Crossing offense in a 36-8 victory. Ryle recorded 391 yards of total offense and was penalized eight times for 85 yards. Great Crossing recorded 123 yards of toyal offense, was penalized seven times for 96 yards and lost a fumble.

Jacob Savage led Ryle’s ground game with 78 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. Nathan Verax carried the ball nine times for 70 yards and two touchdowns. Beau Faul recorded 21 yards on two carries. Nathan Verax completed eight of 17 passes for 150 yards and two touchdowns. Landon Lorms caught four passes for 73 yards and a touchdown. Dylan Lee added two receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown. Jacob Savage recorded two receptions for 29 yards. Jacob Savage led the defense with seven solo and five assisted tackles. Kai Workman added five solo and four assisted tackles. Bo Gay recorded two solo and two assisted tackles. Hudson Stephens recovered a fumble.

Luke Ballard led Great Crossing’s ground game with 16 yards on seven carries. Taron Lewis carried the ball twice for 16 yards. Trey Campbell recorded 15 yards on one carry. Jeremiah Clark completed six of eight passes for 69 yards. Taron Lewis caught two passes for 37 yards. Hunter Moody added two receptions for 21 yards. Trey Campbell scored on a 95 yard kickoff return.

Covington Catholic defeated Harrison County by the score of 56-6. Covington Catholic recorded 12 first downs and 410 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized three times for 42 yards and lost a fumble. Harrison County recorded four first downs and 83 yards of total offense. The Thorobreds were penalized once for five yards and had two passes intercepted.

Dylan Gaiser led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 108 yards and two touchdowns on three carries. Cash Harney carried the ball four times for 80 yards and a touchdown. Andrew Bessler recorded 25 yards and a touchdown on two carries. Mason Brandner added 21 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Logan Sanning and Owen Pitzer also ran for touchdowns. Cash Harney completed four of five passes for 93 yards and a touchdown. Tate Kruer caught one pass for 23 yards. Dylan Gaiser added one reception for 19 yards. Logan Sanning caught a seven yard touchdown pass. Dylan Gaiser and James Koop each returned one kickoff for 57 and 25 yards respectively. Tate Kruer led the defense with six solo tackles. Reid Luzak added four solo and one assisted tackles. Jackson Payne recorded three solo tackles. Owen Pitzer and Oliver Link each intercepted a pass.

Karsyn Sumpter led Harrison County’s ground game with 49 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. Tanner Tumey carried the ball four times for 12 yards. JaCory Hinton recorded 12 yards on two carries. JaCory Hinton completed four of 13 passes for four yards with two interceptions. Tanner Tumey caught three passes for four yards. Tanner Tumey returned two kickoffs for 40 yards with a long return of 31 yards. Landon Custard returned two kickoffs for 31 yards with a long return of 17 yards. Hunter Jones returned two kickoffs for 26 yards with a long return of 16 yards. Karsyn Sumpter returned two kickoffs for 15 yards with a long return of 15 yards. Tanner Tumey led the defense with four solo tackles. Mason Wright and Karsyn Sumpter each recorded three solo tackles.

Central sent the rest of Class 3A a message as they raced out to a 48-21 halftime lead on their way to a 48-28 victory over Christian Academy of Louisville who has won the last two 3A titles. Central recorded 386 yards of total offense while Christian Academy of Louis recorded 218 yards. CAL also lost a fumble and had a pass intercepted.

Cortez Stone led Central’s ground game with 145 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries. Justin Brents carried the ball 10 times for 73 yards and a touchdown. Steven Smith added 20 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Steven Smith completed two of three passes for 50 yards. Jermaine Walker completed two of two passes for 22 yards. Cortez Stone completed his only pass for 43 yards and a touchdown. Jermaine Walker caught one pass for 43 yards and a touchdown. Avaion Johnson-McNeal caught one pass for 36 yards. Justin Brents recorded two receptions for 29 yards. Brents also scored on a 77 yard kickoff return. Justin Brents led the defense with six solo tackles. Avaion Johnson-McNeal added five solo tackles. Amontez Woolfolk recorded four solo tackles, recovered a fumble, and intercepted a pass. Micah Williams and Zavion Meads also recorded four solo tackles each.

Connor Hodge led CAL’s ground game with 53 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries. Jeffrey Vazzana carried the ball four times for 23 yards and a touchdown. Connor Hodge completed eight of 15 passes for 143 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Tre Cotton caught three passes for 73 yards and one touchdown. Gaines Howard added two receptions for 48 yards. Jackson Settle led the defense with two solo and five assisted tackles. Chapman Russell and Kellan Hall each added three solo and four assisted tackles. Brody Cherry chipped in with one solo and six assisted tackles. Garyon Hobbs added three solo and three assisted tackles. Man Robinson recorded two solo and four assisted tackles. Grayden Reid and Tre Cotton each recorded three solo and two assisted tackles.

Ludlow defeated Bishop Brossart by the score of 46-35 in a game that was characterized by scoring “runs”. Ludlow led 21-7 after the first quarter but Bishop Brossart rallied to outscore Ludlow 21-7 in the second quarter and the game went to the intermission tied at 28-28. Ludlow outscored Bishop Brossart 18-0 in the third quarter to take control of the game. Ludlow recorded 415 yards of total offense but lost two fumbles and had two passes intercepted. Bishop Brossart recorded 354 yards of total offense and had three passes intercepted.

Dameyn Anness led Ludlow’s ground game with 200 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries. Aiden Smith-Baxley added 77 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries. Jackson Mays completed three of five passes for 100 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Carson Evans caught three passes for 100 yards and one touchdown. Gabe Payne scored on a 55 yard return of a blocked field goal attempt and Carson Evans scored on a 48 yard interception return. Carson Evans led the defense with six solo and four assisted tackles and scored a “pick six” on an interception return. Matt Brock added two solo and six assisted tackles. Spencer Brandenburg recorded five solo and two assisted tackles. Aiden Smith-Baxley chipped in with four solo and two assisted tackles. Dameyn Anness added two solo and four assisted tackles. Byron Conley and Spencer Brandenburg also recorded an interception each.

Cameron Mandel led Bishop Brossart’s ground game with 210 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries. Tyler Holtz completed 10 of 28 passes for 159 yards and two touchdowns with three interceptions. Nicholas Cozzi caught three passes for 66 yards and a touchdown. Landon Geyer added two receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown. Cameron Mandel recorded two receptions for 34 yards. Quinten Tischner led the defense with five solo and eight assisted tackles. Shane Willike added 11 solo and one assisted tackles. Cameron Mandel recorded four solo and two assisted tackles. Keegan Gulley and Joe Schroeder each recorded four solo and one assisted tackles. Highlands had to much offense tonight as they earned a 42-14 victory over Conner on the road. Highland recorded 546 yards of total offense. The Bluebirds were penalized seven times for 70 yards and lost a fumble. Conner recorded 320 yards of total offense. The Cougars were penalized twice for 15 yards and lost a fumble.

Deven James led Highlands’ ground game with 101 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries. Gabe Williams added 52 yards on three carries. Ethan Grimm recorded 25 yards on two carries. Rio Litmer chipped in with 17 yards on three carries. Rio Litmer completed 26 of 32 passes for 335 yards and four touchdowns. Jackson Arnold caught 11 passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns. Tayden Lorenzen added six receptions for 67 yards and two touchdowns. John Feldbrugge recorded three receptions for 37 yards. Thomas Hicks led the defense with six solo and seven assisted tackles. Ethan Grimm added four solo and eight assisted tackles. Isaac Neimann recorded two solo and six assisted tackles. Tommy Ferring chipped in with two solo and five assisted tackles.
