Warren East buoyed by Dane Parsley’s six touchdowns on the ground defeated Franklin-Simpson by the score of 50-27. Warren East recorded 420 yards of total offense and had one pass intercepted. Franklin-Simpson recorded 316 yards of total offense and lost a fumble.

Dane Parsley led Warren East;s ground game with 163 yards and six touchdowns on 15 carries. Jackson McCool carried the ball 20 times for 78 yards and a touchdown. Dane Parsley completed 17 of 23 passes for 136 yards. Logan Boyer caught nine passes for 83 yards. Brayden Lightfoot added five receptions for 37 yards. Levi Faulkner led the defense with five solo and six assisted tackles. Atlas Pinson added five solo and four assisted tackles. Dane Parsley recorded four solo, five assisted tackles, forced one fumble, and recovered two fumbles. Gavan Henderson chipped in with four solo and four assisted tackles. Jackson McCool added four solo and one assisted tackles.

Colin Anderson led Franklin-Simpson’s ground game with 122 yards on 13 carries. Lane Alford added 41 yards on seven carries. Xavier Hampton recorded 32 yards on three carries. Ayden Jones carried the ball four times for 22 yards and a touchdown. Brady Delk completed six of 13 passes for 117 yards and three touchdowns. Carson Groves caught three passes for 82 yards and a touchdown. Colin Anderson added three receptions for 35 yards and two touchdowns. Pikeville defeated Boyd County by the score of 47-35 in a game that Pikeville led 14-0 at halftime but was outscored 35-33 in an offensive shootout in the second half. Pikeville recorded 18 first downs and 500 yards total offense. The Panthers were penalized six times for 65 yards and had one pass intercepted. Boyd County recorded 17 first downs and 380 yards of total offense. The Lions were penalized five times for 37 yards and lost a fumble.

Brenden Anthony led Pikeville’s ground game with 219 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries. Isaiah Stanley added 22 yards and two touchdowns on five carries. Blake Caudill scored a touchdown on the ground. Isaac Duty completed 15 of 18 passes for 233 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Bradyn Hall caught six passes for 121 yards and a touchdown. Kingston Braxton added four receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown. Joseph Reynolds recorded three receptions for 26 yards.

Rhett Holbrook led Boyd County’s ground game with 81 yards on 17 carries. Marcus Brumfield added eight yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Rhett Holbrook completed 23 of 32 passes for 291 yards and three touchdowns. Cole Hicks caught 11 passes for 112 yards and two touchdowns. Kaleb Kelley added six receptions for 69 yards. Ian Branham recorded two receptions for 66 yards and one touchdown. Marcus Brumfield chipped in with three receptions for 33 yards. Rhett Holbrook returned a kickoff for 93 yards and a touchdown. Erik Germann led the defense with four solo and eight assisted tackles. Brody Castle added four solo and seven assisted tackles. Kaleb Kelley recorded four solo and four assisted tackles. Belfry rallied from a 34-21 deficit late in the third quarter to earn a 35-34 victory over Letcher County Central. Chase Varney scored on a 26 yard run and Nick Savage tacked on the extra point to give Belfry the lead with 7:40 left in the game. The Belfry defense came up big in the closing minutes to ensure the victory. Belfry recorded 456 yards and lost one fumble. Letcher County Central recorded 426 yards and had one pass intercepted.

JJ Austin led Belfry’s ground game with 168 yards and a touchdown on 34 carries. JB Woolum added 111 yards on 12 carries. Ace Caudill recorded 110 yards and two touchdown on six carries. Chase Varney chipped in with 26 yards and two touchdowns on two carries. Chase Varney completed three of six passes for 41 yards. JB Woolum caught two passes for 40 yards. Ace Caudill added one reception for one yard. Keaton Deskins led the defense with five solo and seven assisted tackles. Eli Caudill added seven solo and two assisted tackles. Jaydon Muncy recorded three solo and four assisted tackles and interceoted a pass.

Gavin Brown led Letcher County Central’s ground game with 17 yards on one carries. Koby Johnson carried the ball five times for 17 yards. Gunner Holbrook completed 23 of 36 passes for 392 yards and five touchdowns with one interception. Brett Smith caught seven passes for 179 yards and four touchdowns. Dawson Kincer added six receptions for 124 yards and a touchdown. Quinton Edwards recorded six passes for 45 yards. Keaston Branham chipped in with four catches for 44 yards. Dawson Kincer led the defense with three solo and 11 assisted tackles. Garrett Howard added one solo and 12 assisted tackles. Koby Johnson recorded 11 assisted tackles. Gavin Brown chipped in with five solo and six assisted tackles. Brody Griffith added nine assisted tackles. Cainan Sergent recorded eight assisted tackles. Ashland Blazer utilized a high octane offense and a ball hawking defense to defeat Simon Kenton by the score of 58-28. Ashland Blazer recorded 478 yards of total offense and lost one fumble. Simon Kenton recorded 309 yards of total offense, lost a fumble, and had four passes intercepted.

Braxton Jennings led Ashland Blazer’s ground game with 285 yards and four touchdowns on 16 carries. Maverick Ashby added 98 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries. LaBryant Strader recorded 32 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries. Cameron Davis chipped in with 26 yards and a touchdown on five carries. LaBryant Strader completed 12 of 16 passes for 137 yards. Cameron Davis caught three passes for 58 yards. Braxton Jennings added five receptions for 40 yards. Sam Lyons recorded two receptions for 23 yards. Mason Wolfe added two catches for 16 yards. Adam Frame led the defense with eufgt solo and two assisted tackles and recovered a fumble he returned for 47 yards. Rieday Rucker added seven solo tackles. Keshawn Newman also recorded seven solo tackles. Cameron Davis recorded four solo tackles and intercepted three passes he returned for a total of 30 yards. Braxton Jennings intercepted a pass he returned for 29 yards.

Tysin Weaver caught eight passes for 88 yards and a touchdown. Grayson Harris caught one pass for eight yards. Landon Brown led the defense with six solo and four assisted tackles. Covington Catholic raced out to a 42-0 halftime lead, substituted liberally in the second half and earned a 42-28 victory over Campbell County. Covington Catholic recorded eight first downs and 306 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized three times for 31 yards and had two passes intercepted. Campbell County recorded nine first downs and 214 yards of total offense. The Camels were penalized once for 15 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Cash Harney led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 101 yards and two touchdowns on three carries. Dylan Gaiser added 89 yards and two touchdowns on six carries. Cash Harney completed four of six passes for 97 yards and two touchdowns. Emmitt McQueen completed one of three passes for 17 yards with two interceptions. Oliver Link caught two passes for 66 yards and two touchdowns. Owen Pitzer caught one pass for 22 yards. Donovan Bradshaw added one reception for 17 yards. Zach Brooks returned one kickoff for 51 yards. James Koop returned two kickoffs for 44 yards with a long return of 28 yards. Tate Kruer led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles and intercepted a pass. Andrew Bessler added four solo tackles. Brady Guard recorded three solo and one assisted tackles. Zach Brooks and Logan Sanning each recorded three solo tackles. Dylan Gaiser also intercepted a pass.

Lucas Anthrop led Campbell County’s ground game with 102 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries. Aiden Dowds added 30 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Garyn Jackson recorded 12 yards on three carries. Trevor Bertram also ran for a touchdown. Lucas Anthrop completed 10 of 18 passes for 65 yards with two interceptions. Xavier Francher caught five passes for 31 yards. Garyn Jackson and Carson Clark each caught two passes for 16 and 11 yards respectively. Xavier Francher returned three kickoffs for 15 yards with a long return of 15 yards. Elliott Eaton and Trevor Bertram each returned a kickoff for 19 and 14 yards respectively. Elijah Depperschmidt led the defense with three solo and two assisted tackles. Isaac Mason and Mason Haywood each recorded one solo and two assisted tackles. Aiden Bowds and Trevor Bertram each intercepted a pass with return yardage of 18 and 17 yard respectively.

Southwestern controlled play tonight in a 31-0 shut out victory over Henry Clay. Southwestern recorded 16 first downs and 312 yards of total offense. The Warriors were penalized eight times for 77 yards and lost a fumble. Henry Clay recorded seven first downs and 113 yards of total offense. The Blue Devils were penalized three times for 15 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Braxton Walters led Southwestern’s ground game with 107 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries. Antajuan Dumphord carried the ball seven times for 62 yards and a touchdown. Aiden Whitson recorded 60 yards on five carries. Logan Haynes chipped in with 55 yards on six carries. Tayden Richardson completed two of five passes for 23 yards and a touchdown. Antajuan Dumphord completed two of two passes for three yards. Antajuan Dumphord caught a 15 yard touchdown pass. Logan Haynes returned one kickoff for 48 yards. Elijah Ray led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a five yard loss and scored on a 55 yard interception return. Bryton Burton added three solo and three assisted tackles. Drew Inabnitt recorded two solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Braxton Walters recorded one solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 42 yards.

Keontae Edwards led Henry Clay’s ground game with 36 yards on nine carries. Zac Hoellein carried the ball five times for 23 yards. Keontae Edwards completed four of 16 passes for 45 yards with one interception. Liam Marrs attempted one pass which was intercepted. Isaiah McQueen caught two passes for 32 yards. Antoine Webb returned two kickoffs for 33 yards with a long return of 29 yards. Luke DiNardo returned two kickoffs for 37 yards with a long return of 20 yards. Luke DiNardo led the defense with fous solo and six assisted tackles. Frank Niyonyishu added two solo and five assisted tackles. Jayceon Jackson recorded one solo and seven assisted tackles. Zac Hoellein chipped in with two solo and four assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards. Maliki Gill also recorded two solo and four assisted tackles.

Nash Whelan completed one of two passes for 46 yards. Paxton Gray caught one pass for 46 yards. Sam Pearson returned one kickoff for 32 yards. Mac Darland led the defense with sive solo and 12 assisted tackles. Hunter Adams added two solo and 15 assisted tackles. Thomas Sizemore recorded four solo and seven assisted tackles. Nash Whelan chipped in with four solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss.

Bryan Station defeated Central Hardin by the score of 35-7. The score was tied 7-7 at halftime but Bryan Station outscored Central Hardin 28-0 after the intermission. Bryan Station recorded 12 first downs and 280 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized five times for 45 yards. Central Hardin recorded 15 first downs and 256 yards of total offense. The Bruins were penalized twice for 20 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Kalen Washington led Bryan Station;s ground game with 145 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries. Akeem Clay added 29 yards on three carries. James Davis carried the ball twice for 24 yards. Boyle County defeated Frederick Douglass tonight by the score of 38-17 further adding to the popular opinion they may be the best team in the state regardless of class. Boyle County recorded 18 first downs and 451 yards of total offense. The Rebels were penalized eight times for 66 yards. Frederick Douglass recorded eight first downs and 220 yards of total offense. The Broncos were penalized six times for 58 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Demauriah Brown led the Boyle County ground game with 203 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries. Montavin Quisenberry added 138 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries. Gege Feltner and Seneca Driver each run for a touchdown. Baylor Murphy carried the ball 12 of 17 passes for 73 yards. Montavin Quisenberry completed his only pass for 18 yards and a touchdown. Montavin Quisenberry caught eight passes for 49 yards. Lyndon Smith caught an 18 yard touchdown reception. Bubby McPherson returned two kickoffs for 24 yard with a ;ong return of 14 yards. Gage Feltner led the defense with eight solo and two assisted tackles withtwo of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards. Lexington Catholic defeated Scott County 36-29 in overtime. Scott County took a 21-10 lead midway through the third quarter but Lexington Catholic rallied to take a 29-21 lead with two minutes left in regulation. Buddy Collins scored on a six yard run and Eli Lilly scored on a 2-point conversion run to tie the game at 29-29 with 25 seconds left and the game went into overtime. Scott County won the toss and elected to go on defense in overtime. Lexington Catholic scored on a two yard pass from Matthew Kern to J. Kreutzer and F. Wedding tacked on the conversion kick to take a 36-29 lead. Scott County went on defense but on a fourth-and-goal from the LexCath one yard line they were stopped short and the Knights earned a big road victory. Lexington Catholic recorded 16 first downs and 361 yards of total offense. The Knights were penalized six times for 63 yards and lost a fumble. Scott County recorded 21 first downs and 334 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized six times for 60 yards and lost a fumble.

Matthew Kern led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 53 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Aven Blair added 37 yards on eight carries. Matthew Kern completed 23 of 30 passes for 257 yards and four touchdowns. J. Kreutzer caught nine passes for 66 yards and two touchdowns. Brady Wasik added five receptions for 77 yards. Aven Blair recorded three receptions for 39 yards. Duncan Gaunce caught two passes for 26 yards and a touchdown. Cole Space chipped in with two receptions for 21 yards and a touchdown. Duncan Gaunce returned two kickoffs for 23 yards with a long return of 18 yards. M. Cashman returned two kickoffs for 12 yards with a long return of 12 yards.
