George Rogers Clark raced out to a 14-0 lead but Frederick Douglass stormed back to take a 36-14 lead on their way to a 49-20 over the visiting Cardinals. Frederick Douglass exploded for 29 points in the last 4:34 of the second quarter. Frederick Douglass recorded 15 first downs and 370 yards of total offense. The Broncos were penalized eight times for 74 yards and lost a fumble. George Rogers Clark recorded 13 first downs and 232 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized five times for 58 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Dakari Talbert led the Frederick Douglass with 124 yards on 11 carries. Derion Talbert carried the ball three times for 50 yards and a touchdown. Jaxon Strautman recorded 35 yards and a touchdown on four carries. Pharo Watts chipped in with 31 yards on three carries. Peyton Smith recorded 30 yards and two touchdowns on five carries. Jaxon Strautman completed seven of 10 passes for 104 yards and two touchdowns. Aveion Chenault caught four passes for 78 yards and two touchdowns. Derion Talbert caught one pass for 24 yards. Aveion Chenault returned two punts for 79 yards including a 66 yard return for a touchdown. Elie Mongengo led the defense with two solo and six assisted tackles. Cionne Conne added three solo and three assisted tackles. Logan Busson recorded two solo and five assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling two yards. E. Marshall intercepted a pass and Stoney Mack recovered a fumble.

Trey Davis led George Roger Clark’s ground game with 90 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries. Sam Clements carried the ball 14 times for 53 yards. Sam Clements completed eight of 13 passes for 85 yards and a touchdown. Trey Davis was zero for three with one interception. Kanden McAlpin caught two passes for 36 yards and a touchdown. Trey Davis added two receptions for nine yards. Gunnar Martin recorded one catch for 34 yards. Sam Clements punted three times for a 41.0 average with a long punt of 60 yards with one punt inside the 20 yard line. Braylon Nester returned four kickoffs for 85 yards with a long return of 36 yards. John Camahni returned three kickoffs for 67 yards with a long return of 27 yards. S. Davidson led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards. Trey Davis added three solo and two assisted tackles. Cole Rose recorded one solo and four assisted tackles.

Highlands rolled over the injury plagued Collins squad by the score of 45-0 to record their fifth shutout victory of the year. Both Kade Goodin and backup quarterback missed the game tonight due to injuries. Highland recorded 352 yards of total offense and was penalized eight times for 90 yards. Collins recorded 23 yards of total offense, were penalized three times for 25 yards, and had three turnovers.

Adam Surrey led Highlands’ ground game with 49 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Jack White carried the ball three times for 41 yards and a touchdown. Deven James recorded 29 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Tayden Lorenzen also ran for a touchdown. Rio Litmer completed 11 of 15 passes for 117 yards and a touchdown. Cale Harris completed five of nine passes for 90 yards and two touchdowns. Gabe Williams caught three passes for 75 yards and a touchdown. Adam Surrey added four receptions for 38 yards. Jackson Arnold recorded three receptions for 25 yards. Tayden Lorenzen caught two passes for 24 yards and two touchdowns. Tommy Ferring recovered a fumble and Gabe Williams and Dominic Gregory each intercepted a pass.

Joshua Lainhart led Collins ground game with three yards on three carries. Wyatt Shafer completed eight of 20 passes for 56 yards. Jason Hence caught five passes for 56 yards. Joshua Lainhart led the defense with eight solo tackles. Clay England added six solo and two assisted tackles. Marcus Stoner recorded six solo tackles.

Covington Catholic defeated Boyd County by the score of 42-14. Covington Catholic recorded 415 yards of total offense while Boyd County recorded 232 yards.

Dylan Gaiser led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 245 yards and four touchdowns on nine carries. Cash Harney carried the ball twice for 33 yards. Cash Harney completed six of nine passes for 111 yards and one touchdown. Oliver Link caught three passes for 61 yards and a touchdown. Logan Sanning added one reception for 34 yards. Andrew Bessler added six solo tackles and recorded two interceptions with return yardage of 47 yards including a 47 yard return for a touchdown. Logan Sanning added four solo and two assisted tackles. Tate Kruer recorded three solo and two assisted tackles. Jackson Payne chipped in with three solo and one assisted tackles. Brady Guard added three solo tackles and Dylan Gaiser intercepted a pass.

Rhett Holbrook led Boyd County’s ground game with 28 yards on 15 carries. Rhett Holbrook completed 16 of 23 passes for 194 yards and two touchdowns with three interceptions. Cole Hicks caught five passes for 80 yards and a touchdown. Kaleb Kelley added five receptions for 38 yards and a touchdown. Cayden Butler recorded two catches for 32 yards. Ian Branham chipped in with two receptions for 28 yards. Kaleb Kelley led the defense with one solo and five assisted tackles. Rhett Holbrook added two solo and two assisted tackles. Keagan Maher led Cooper’s ground game with 140 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries. Cam O’Hara carried the ball twice for 20 yards. Cam O’Hara completed 13 of 19 passes for 323 yards and four touchdowns. Jaiden Combs caught two passes for 140 yards and a touchdown. Isaiah Johnson added four receptions for 127 yards and two touchdowns. Malachi Ewell recorded three receptions for 21 yards. Keagan Maher chipped in with two receptions and a touchdown. Austin Alexander added two receptions for 15 yards. Austin Alexander led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles. Ryker Campbell added five solo and one assisted tackles. Scott County held on to defeat Conner by the score of 47-40. Conner had one last opportunity when they recovered an onside kick but the threat was ended by an interception. Scott County recorded 22 first downs and 391 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized 12 times for 116 yards. Conner recorded 20 first downs and 372 yards of total offense. The Cougars were penalized five times for 50 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Ali Hamdiyah led Scott County’s ground game with 137 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries. Buddy Collins added 123 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries. Kayne Garrett carried the ball 16 times for 82 yards and two touchdowns. Timmy Emongo recorded 39 yards on five carries. Andrew Hickey completed one of three passes for zero yards. Eli Lilly caught one pass for zero yards. Buddy Collins returned two kickoffs for 58 yards with a long return of 30 yards. Colt Fields returned one kickoff for 38 yards. Jackson Damron led the defense with 10 solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss. Asher Brewer added three solo and five assisted tackles. Red Owens recorded three solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss and recovered a fumble. Timmy Emongo recorded two solo and three assisted tackles and intercepted two passes he returned for 50 yards.

Wyatt Hatfield led Conner’s ground game with 133 yards and three touchdowns on 25 carries. C. Abernathy added 74 yards on 14 carries. Wyatt Hatfield completed 10 of 17 passes for 165 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions. Chase Caplinger caught five passes for 95 yards and a touchdown. Camryn Corell added two receptions for 45 yards and a touchdown. Sheppard Dozier returned seven kickoffs for 104 yards with a long return of 21 yards. Chase Caplinger returned one kickoff for 15 yards. Chase Caplinger led the defense with eight solo and two assisted tackles. Chase Bailey added six solo tackles. Brayton Haaser recorded two solo and three assisted tackles. Sheppard Dozier added two solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 14 yard loss. Abram Kollar also recorded two solo and one assisted tackles.

Madison Central shut down the high octane Tates Creek offense and the Commodore defense did not have an answer for the effective Madison Central “Wing T” offense in a 42-0 victory with the running clock margin of 35 points being reached seconds before halftime. Madison Central recorded 20 first downs and 348 yards of total offense. The Indians were penalized 11 times for 133 yards and lost a fumble. Tates Creek recorded nine first downs and 103 yards of total offense. The Commodores were penalized 11 times for 68 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Bryant Mathis led Madison Central’s ground game with 100 yards and four touchdowns on 10 carries. Jackson Pritchard carried the ball five times for 88 yards. Corinthian Barnes carried the ball nine times for 62 yards. Daveionne DeBruce recorded 49 yards on 10 carries. Carson Herbst carried the ball twice for 17 yards. Carson Herbst completed three of four passes for 42 yards and two touchdowns. Cody Morrison caught two passes for 29 yards and two touchdowns. Jeff Hairston returned one kickoff for 59 yards. Derek McElwee led the defense with two solo and four assisted tackles. Nathan Ogle added two solo and two assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards. Sam Farmer also recorded two solo and two assisted tackles. Cody Morrison chipped in with one solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss. Jackson Pritchard intercepted a pass.

BJ Evans led Tates Creek’s ground game with 86 yards on 13 carries. Darnell Burnside completed nine of 15 passes for 26 yards with one interception. Kane Bell=Pointer caught three passes for 11 yards. Luke Cooper added one reception for 10 yards. Stephen Jones returned two kickoffs for 40 yards with a long return of 28 yards. Kane Bell-Pointer returned three kickoffs for 34 yards with a long return of 17 yards. JaQuavion Slaughter led the defense with four solo and four assisted tackles. Detrell Johnson added two solo and six assisted tackles. Shawn Taylor recorded four solo and three assisted tackles. Jaysean Layne chipped in with three solo and one assisted tackles.

The Generals were penalized nine times for 45 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Sam Clements led GRC’s ground game with 92 yards on 16 carries. Trey Davis added 86 yards on six carries. JD Mastin recorded 31 yards on four carries. Y. Israel chipped in with 28 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Sam Clements completed five of eight passes for 78 yards and a touchdown. JD Mastin completed one of six passes for eight yards. Gunnar Martin caught two passes for 36 yards. Camahni John added two receptions for 16 yards. Kanden McAlpin added a 26 yard touchdown reception. Braylon Nester returned one kickoff for 12 yards. Howard Jones led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss. S.
