Owensboro Catholic defeated Somerset by the score of 27-14. Owensboro Catholic recorded 425 yards while Somerset recorded 275 yards.

Brady Atwell led Owensboro Catholic’s ground game with 45 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. Miles Edge added 40 yards on three carries. Dereon Crowe recorded 32 yards on six carries. Brady Atwell completed 20 of 25 passes for 303 yards and three touchdowns. Cameron Woodward caught five passes for 151 yards and a touchdown. Waryn Ebelhar added four receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown. Dereon Crowe recorded six receptions for 39 yards an da touchdown. Xavier Maddox and Miles Edge each caught two passes for 24 yards. Chris Burns led the defense with four solo and eight assisted tackles. Michael Lyons added three solo and seven assisted tackles. Miles Edge and Nick Sims each recorded one solo and eight assisted tackles. Dereon Crowe added two solo and seven assisted tackles. Brody Atwell chipped in with four solo and two assisted tackles.

Kris Hughes led Somerset’s ground game with 120 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries. Josh Bruner added 38 yards on eight carries. Corban Cimala caught five passes for 52 yards. Kris Hughes added four receptions for 27 yards. Isaiah Lewis caught three passes for 26 yards. Zach Koger led the defense with 10 solo and seven assisted tackles. Jon Reynolds added seven solo and three assisted tackles. Cameron Alsip recorded three solo and four assisted tackles. Corban Cimala chipped in with six solo tackles. Jacob Bartley also recorded six solo tackles.

Ryle County defeated Great Crossing by the score of 35-7. Ryle recorded 20 first downs and 383 yards of total offense. The Raiders were penalized seven times for 60 yards. Great Crossing recorded nine first downs and 297 yards of total offense. The Warhawks were penalized six times for 40 yards and had one pass intercepted.

Nathan Verax led the Ryle ground game with 113 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. Gavin Lyons carried the ball twice for 23 yards and a touchdown. Jacob Savage recorded 21 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries. Nathan Verax completed 15 of 22 passes for 183 yards and one touchdown. Cole Welter completed his only pass for 17 yards. Landon Lorms caught five passes for 100 yards and a touchdown. Gavin Lyons added three receptions for 45 yards. Bo Gay caught two passes for 27 yards. Jacob Savage led the defense with six solo and four assisted tackles. Kai Workman added four solo and four assisted tackles. Gavin Lyons recorded four solo and three assisted tackles. Jaden Galicia added four solo and two assisted tackles. Dylan Lee intercepted a pass he returned 58 yards.

Luke Ballard led Great Crossing’s ground game with 133 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. Clayton Shaddix carried the ball five times for 82 yards. Jeremiah Clark recorded 46 yards on 10 carries. Jeremiah Clark completed three of 10 passes for 24 yards with one interception. Taron Lewis caught two passes for 19 yards. Wyatt Highley led the defense with 10 solo and six assisted tackles. Christian Academy of Louisville raced out to a 22-0 first quarter lead on their way to a 50-14 victory over Lexington Catholic. Christian Academy of Louisville recorded 314 yards and their defense came up big holding Lexington Catholic to 213 yards and scoring on two interception returns.

Connor Hodge led CAL’s ground game with 61 yards on nine carries. Garyon Hobbs added 31 yards on seven carries. Tyree Stoner recorded eight yards and a touchdown on two carries. Connor Hodge completed 17 of 21 passes for 178 yards and four touchdowns. Jackson Burke completed three of four passes for 36 yards. Trey Cotton caught six passes for 74 yards and a touchdown. Gaines Howard added three receptions for 45 yards. Stephen Green recorded one catch for 30 yards. JaHyde Brown chipped in with three receptions for 24 yards and a touchdown. Garyon Hobbs recorded two receptions for 22 yards and a touchdown. Bryce Wilson scored on a 10 yard touchdown pass. Micah Newsome led the defense with six solo and four assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Trey Cotton added three solo and one assisted tackles. Jackson Settle recorded two solo and two assisted tackles. Garyon Hobbs intercepted two passes with 83 yards of return yardage with one return resulting in a touchdown. Stone Perkins intercepted one pass he returned for 25 yards and a touchdown.

Matthew Kern led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 39 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. Brady Wasik added 30 yards on five carries. Alex Rayyan recorded 23 yards on three carries. Matthew Kern completed 13 of 26 passes for 110 yards and one touchdown with three interceptions. Jackson Kreutzer caught five passes for 46 yards. Brady Wasik added four receptions for 28 yards and a touchdown. Aven Blair and Cole Space each recorded two receptions for 19 and 17 yards respectively. Brady Wasik led the defense with five solo and five assisted tackles. John Moses added three solo and five assisted tackles. Beckett Brittingham recorded three solo and one assisted tackles. Jack White chipped in with two solo and two assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.

Paducah Tilghman scored 21 unanswered points late to defeat Corbin by the score of 31-14. Corbin led Paducah Tilghman 14-10 late in the third quarter until QB Jack James connected with Martels Carter on a 39 yard touchdown pass and Russell Hancock tacked on the conversion kick to give Paducah Tilghman a 17-14 in the final minute of the quarter. Paducah Tilghman dominated the final quarter adding 14 points for the winning margin. Paducah Tilghman recorded 393 yards of total offense while Corbin recorded 313 yards of total offense.

Vanzale Hinton led Paducah Tilghman’s ground game with 141 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. DeMarkus Wilson carried the ball eight times for 46 yards. Martels Carter added 18 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Jack James also ran for a touchdown. Jack James completed 15 of 26 passes for 184 yards and a touchdown with one interception. Martels Carter caught four passes for 91 yards and a touchdown. Vanzale Hinton added four receptions for 54 yards. Joshua Campbell and Joshua Thomas each recorded three receptions for 18 and 17 yards respectively. Jimmy Mooney led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles. Xavier Cleary added four solo and three assisted tackles. Hank James recorded three solo and seven assisted tackles. Michael Hinton chipped in with three solo and four assisted tackles. Jordan O’Malley added two solo and five assisted tackles and James Thompson recovered a fumble.

Kade Elam led Corbin’s ground game with 109 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries. Cole Stevens added 63 yards on 13 carries. Kade Elam completed 11 of 22 passes for 123 yards. Colton Creekmore caught three passes for 56 yards. Cam Estep added three receptions for 39 yards. Cole Stevens recorded four receptions for 16 yards. Trey Person led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles. Cam Estep added four solo and four assisted tackles. Jonah Mahan recorded three solo and four assisted tackles. Noah Cima added one solo and eight assisted tackles. Jace Hatfield recovered a fumble and Cam Estep intercepted a pass.

Union County raced out to a 29-7 halftime lead on their way to a convincing 43-21 victory over Belfry. Union County rolled up 459 yards of total offense while holding Belfry to 235 yards of total offense. Union County, led by multi-talented QB Jarren Johnson, rolled up 410 yards on the ground.

Jarren Johnson led union County’s ground game with 246 yards and four touchdowns on 31 carries. Caton Wilson added 83 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Abreyan Fletcher carried the ball once for 54 yards and a touchdown. Jarren Johnson completed four of four passes for 49 yards. Koleby Schroeder caught three passes for 26 yards. Luke Thomas caught one pass for 23 yards. Amare Black led the defense with three solo and five assisted tackles. Willem McPeake added three solo and three assisted tackles and intercepted a pass. Caiden Broadus recorded one solo and five assisted tackles. Jarren Johnson added one solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted two passes. Koleby Schroeder recovered a fumble.

Ace Caudill led the Belfry ground game with 57 yards and one touchdown on seven carries. Jeremiah Austin carried the ball five times for 25 yards. JB Woolum recorded 18 yards on five carries. Bowling Green held on to defeat South Warren by the score of 31-28 to avenge an earlier loss to the Spartans. Bowling Green got two big plays on special teams; kickoff returns of 93 and 84 yards for touchdowns to spark their victory. Bowling Green recorded 190 yards of total offense while South Warren recorded 452 yards of total offense.

Montravion Graham led Bowling Green’s ground game with 81 yards and one touchdown on six carries. Jaxen Smith carried the ball eight times for 51 yards and a touchdown. Deuce Bailey completed eight of 14 passes for 55 yards. Trevy Barber caught five passes for 33 yards. Jaxen Smith caught two passes for 18 yards. Trevy Barber and Christopher Sweeney scored on kickoff returns of 93 and 84 yards respectively. Montez Trussell led the defense with seven solo and eight assisted tackles. Grayson Newman added six solo and four assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Brandon Gurley recorded four solo and six assisted tackles. Charlie Compton added five solo and two assisted tackles. Jayden Axson recorded three solo and four assisted tackles.

Bryce Button led South Warren’s ground game with 61 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. Kayden York added 47 yards on 18 carries. Franklin County held on at the end to earn a 14-10 victory over Covington Catholic. Covington Catholic missed red zone opportunities in the first half and Franklin County stopped the Colonels at the Franklin County five yard on the final play of the game to earn the victory. Franklin County recorded 194 yards of total offense, was penalized three times for 15 yards, and had one turnover. Covington Catholic recorded 352 yards of total offense, was penalized five times for 20 yards, and lost one turnover.

Cash Harney led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 164 yards and a touchdown on 32 carries. Dylan Gaiser added 71 yards on 12 carries. Cash Harney completed 10 of 22 passes for 110 yards. Tate Kruer caught four passes for 68 yards. Dylan Gaiser added two receptions for 21 yards. Oliver Link recorded two catches for 16 yards. Owen Pitzer led the defense with six solo tackles. Tate Kruer added five solo tackles and recovered a fumble. Logan Sanning recorded four solo and two assisted tackles. Tucker Evans and Jackson Payne each recorded four solo and one assisted tackles.

Jack Oldham led Franklin County’s ground game with 63 yards on seven carries. LeDarrius Simmons added 35 yards on seven carries. Jaquan Crawford recorded 32 yards and a touchdown on six carries. Landon Cottrell also added a touchdown on the ground. Knox Barrett completed four of eight passes for 57 yards. Eissius Robinson caught two passes for 50 yards. Jeremy Walters led the defense with three solo and 10 assisted tackles. Hunter Gotshall added three solo and eight assisted tackles. Jacob Olds recorded one solo and 10 assisted tackles. Luke Toothaker added two solo and eight assisted tackles. Landon Cottrell recorded nine assisted tackles and Jacob Taylor recovered a fumble.

Trinity prevailed in a defensive slugfest with a 17-0 victory over Frederick Douglass. Trinity was also held in check by Frederick Douglass’ defense and had to result to a little trickery to jump start their defense. Trinity was clinging to a 3-0 lead late in the second quarter when their defense came up with the ball at the Frederick Douglass 8 yard line after recovering a blocked punt. Jeremiah Lynn found Jason Hagan for a seven yard touchdown on the halfback pass. Trinity now led 10-0 and recovered a fumble on the ensuing kick and QB Zane Johnson capitalized with a 37 yard touchdown pass to Jason Hagan to give the Shamrocks a 17-0 halftime lead and two touchdowns in the last two minutes off the half. The Trinity defense took ot from there and had to late interceptions to ensure the victory.

Trinity recorded seven first downs and 119 yards of total offense. The Shamrocks were penalized six times for 35 yards and had one pass intercepted. Frederick Douglass recorded 11 first downs and 145 yards of total offense. The Broncos were penalized four times for 30 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Christopher Wilson led the Trinity ground game with 44 yards on 15 carries. Jamaurion Berry added 15 yards on eight carries. Zane Johnson completed eight of 17 passes for 70 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Jeremiah Lynn completed his only pass for seven yards and a touchdown. Jason Hagan caught two passes for 44 yards and two touchdowns. Zach Floyd added two receptions for 19 yards. Jeremiah Lynn recorded one reception for 13 yards. Christopher Wilson returned one punt for 12 yards and returned one kickoff for 15 yards. Jack DeBellis led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss. Caleb Ricks added five solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss. Nicholas Lococo recorded three solo and four assisted tackles. Bailry Vance chipped in with four solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Sonny Bratcher-Gray intercepted a pass he returned for 32 yards. Myles Howze intercepted a pass he returned for 29 yards and recovered a fumble.

Dakari Talbert led Frederick Douglass’ ground game with 62 yards on 12 carries. Peyton Smith carried the ball seven times for 26 yards, Aveion Chenault recorded 18 yards on three carries. Jaxon Strautman completed six of 16 passes for 37 yards with two interceptions. Dandre Clay caught three passes for 27 yards. Aveion Chenault returned two punts for 16 yards with a long return of eight yards. Dakari Talbert returned one kickoff for 10 yards. Kaden Clay led the defense with seven solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss. S. Maxberry added three solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 17 yard loss. Cionne Conn recorded three solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss. Logan Busson recorded two solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss and intercepted a pass.

Beechwood dominated play on both sides of the ball in a convincing 44-24 victory over Lexington Christian Academy before an enthusiastic crowd on a frigid evening in Northern Kentucky. Beechwood rolled up 505 yards of toal offense with a fine balance of running and passing and the opportunistic defense intercepted three passes and recovered a fumble. The Tigers even scored on a fake punt on a 48 yard run by James Cusick. The only downside to the evening was star runnibg back Chase Fleherty was injured scoring his second touchdown in the second quarter and was unable to return. However at Beechwood it is next man up and Nathan Pabst responded with a 50 yard scoring reception and two touchdown runs. Jack Meier disrupted LCA’s offense all night and was constantly in the Eagles’ backfield.

Beechwood recorded 18 first downs and 505 yards of total offense. The Tigers were penalized 10 times for 90 yards, lost one fumble, and had one pass intercepted. Lexington Christian Academy recorded 21 first downs and 384 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized six times for 49 yards, lost a fumble, and had three passes intercepted.

Nathan Pabst led Beechwood’s ground game with 110 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries. James Cusick carried the ball once for 48 yards and a touchdown. Chase Flaherty recorded 45 yards and two touchdowns on three carries. Tyler Fryman chipped in with 32 yards on 10 carries often out of the “Wildcat” formation. Clay Hayden added 10 yards on six carries. Clay Hayden completed 13 of 20 passes for 258 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Luke Erdman caught five passes for 125 yards and one touchdown. James Cusick caught three passes for 38 yards. Nathan Pabst recorded two receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown. Tyler Fryman added two receptions for 14 yards. James Cusick returned two kickoffs for 20 yards with a long return of 13 yards. Luke Erdman returned two kickoffs for 15 yards with a long return of nine yards. Jack Meier led the defense with seven solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss, recovered a fumble, and intercepted a pass he returned 16 yards. James Cusick added four solo and four assisted tackles. Tyler Fryman recorded six solo and one assisted tackles. Bo Sowder chipped in with three solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a five yard loss and intercepted a pass he returned four yards. Caleb Arrasmith added four solo and two assisted tackles. Luke Erdman also recorded an interception.

Daven Hood led LCA’s ground game with 106 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries. Saxton Howard recorded 94 yards on 14 carries. Leland Edwards added 50 yards on 13 carries. Paxton Gray carried the ball four times for 31 yards. Mac Darland scored a touchdown on the ground. Saxton Howard completed eight of 17 passes for 103 yards with three interceptions. Daven Hood caught four passes for 60 yards. Conrad Hart and Hunter Adams each caught one pass for 25 yards and 16 yards respectively. Sam Pearson returned four kickoffs for 75 yards with a long return of 22 yards. Trefor Thomas led the defense with six solo and five assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 16 yards. Hunter Adams added three solo and two assisted tackles. Thomas Sizemore and Mac Darland each recorded one solo and four assisted tackles. Sam Pearson intercepted a pass he returned for eight yards. Connor Archer recovered a fumble.

Connor Hodge came up big on both sides of the ball to lead Christian Academy of Louisville to a 28-6 victory over Central and avenge a regular season 48-28 loss to the Yellow Jackets. Hodge ran for two touchdowns, threw for another two touchdowns, and recorded two interceptions on defense. CAL recorded 417 yards of total offense while holding Central to 191 yards.

Connor Hodge led Christian Academy of Louisville’s ground game with 159 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries. Garyon Hobbs carried the ball six times for 33 yards. Connor Hodge completed 11 of 22 passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns. Trey Cotton caught three passes for 81 yards and a touchdown. JaHyde Brown added three receptions for 42 yards. Bryce Watson recorded one catch for 34 yards. Garyon Hobbs caught two passes for 29 yards and a touchdown. Micah Newsome led the defense with three solo and 10 assisted tackles. Garyon Hobbs added five solo and seven assisted tackles. Trey Cotton recorded seven solo and three assisted tackles. Brady Cherry chipped in with three solo and six assisted tackles. Connor Hodge intercepted two passes he returned for a total of 16 yards.

Cortez Stone led Central’s ground game with 61 yards on 22 carries. Avaion Johnson-McNeal added 40 yards on four carries. Steven Smith completed eight of 17 passes for 82 yards. Amontez Woolfolk caught one pass for 29 yards. Cortez Stone added three receptions for 26 yards. Justin Brents caught two passes for 15 yards. Amontez Woolfolk led the defewnse with six solo tackles.
