Madison Central coach Scott True started the following lineup: 5-7 Sr. Brooke Campbell, 5-6 Jr. Jordynn Miles, 5-9 Sr. Cameryn Ridderikhoff, 5-7 Sr. Brittany Campbell, and 5-6 Sr. Nataya Strader. Montgomery County coach Jordan Perry countered with 5-11 So. Baylee Warner, 5-8 So. Loralee Orazen, 5-9 Jr. Addison Terry, 5-4 So. Sophie Fouch, and 5-8 8th Grade Raegan Mays.
Madison Central eked out a 54-49 victory over Montgomery County in a thriller on the road. The score was tied five times and there were nine lead changes in the game. Madison Central shot 40.8% from the field including two of nine from the three point line. The Indians connected on 12 of 15 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 17 Montgomery County turnovers. Montgomery County shot 39.6% from the field including seven of 21 from beyond the arc. The Indians connected on four of nine free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored seven points off five Madison Central turnovers.
Cameryn Ridderikhoff led Madison Central with 24 points including eight of nine from the free throw line. Nataya Strader added 12 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Jordynn Miles recorded 10 points and four rebounds.
Baylee Warner led Montgomery County with 17 points including two three point baskets, 14 rebound, three assists, and three blocked shots. Addison Terry recorded 14 points including three three point baskets and four rebounds. 6-1 Sr. Savannah Jarvis recorded six points, three rebounds, and two blocked shots. Raegan Mays chipped in with five points and 10 rebounds. Sohie Fouch added three points, four rebounds, and six assists.
