Lafayette coach Allison Tates Denton countered with 5-10 Sr. Tess Nelson, 5-6 So. Skylar Davis, 5-10 Sr. Belle Combs, 5-6 Jr. Anna Clay Denton, and 5-5 Sr. Abbey Popham.

Lafayette took advantage of 22 Tates Creek turnovers in a 53-33 victory over the Lady Commodores. Lafayette shot 44.9% from the field including five of 14 from the three point line. The Lady Generals connected on four of nine free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 22 Tates Creek turnovers. Tates Creek shot 36.4% from the field including three of 12 from beyond the arc. The Lady Commodores connected on six of eight free throes, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored six points off 12 Lafayette turnovers.

Abbey Popham led Lafayette with 18 points including four three point baskets, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals, Belle Combs added 12 points, three rebounds, and two steals. Tess Nelson recorded seven points, three rebounds, and three assists. 5-8 So. Addison Combs chipped in with five points, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots. Anna Clay Denton recorded two points, five rebounds, fopur assists, and three steals.

Koko Castle led Tates Creek with 13 points including two three point baskets and three rebounds. 5-6 Jr. Jazlene Potter added eight points and two rebounds. Miracle Morbley recorded three points, seven rebounds, and three assists.

St. Xavier coach Kevin Klein countered with 6-4 Sr. Will Hanke, 6-4 Jr.Jeremiah Jackson, 6-6 Sr. Graham Krezmien, 5-10 Jr. Jermaine Cameron, and 5-10 Sr. Chance Dillingham.

St. Xavier shot the ball extremely well today in a 72-58 victory over Great Crossing. There were six lead changes and five ties in this game. St. Xavier shot 52.9% from the field including 10 of 25 from the three point line. The Tigers connected on eight of eight free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 16 points off eight Great Crossing turnovers. Great Crossing shot 33.3% from the field including three of 21 from beyond the arc. The Warhawks connected on nine of 15 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 11 points off nine St. Xavier turnovers.

Graham Krezmien led St. Xavier with 19 points including five three point baskets and six rebounds. 6-1 Fr. Josh Lindsay added 13 points including three three point baskets and four rebounds. Logan Kennedy hit a shot at the buzzer to give Franklin County a 51-49 victory in a hotly contested game over Frederick Douglass in an early season battle between 11^th Region powers. There were six ties and 11 lead changes in this game. Franklin County shot 35.8% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line. The Lady Flyers connected on nine of 19 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored nine points off 13 Frederick Douglass turnovers. Frederick Douglass shot 31.9% from the field including six of 19 from beyond the arc. The Lady Broncos connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 17 Franklin County turnovers.

Madison Jackson led Franklin County with 15 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds. Juliana Frazee added 10 points, nine rebounds, and two assists. 5-10 7^th Grade Jylin Edmondson recorded nine points and two rebounds. Logan Kennedy chipped in with four points and eight rebounds.
