Ohio County coach Ted Hill started the following lineup: 5-7 Sr. Emerson Gray, Jr. Lily Hill, 5-8 Sr. Ella Decker, 5-2 So. Celeste Jachimowicz, and 503 So. Layla Baker. Lexington Christian Academy coach Tim Bradshaw countered with 5-7 Sr. Claire Roberts, 5-6 Jr. Jentry Bertram, 5-9 Sr. Sophie Pridemore, 5-6 Jr. Piper Graham, and 5-6 Sr. Chapel Brown.
Lexington Christian Academy reaced out to a 28-17 first quarter lead on their way to a 78-48 victory over Ohio County. Lexington Christian Academy shot 47.5% from the field including 10 of 25 from the three point line. The Lady Eagles connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 14 Ohio County turnovers. Ohio County shot 40.4% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc. The Lady Eagles connected on two of six free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored eight points off eight LCA turnovers.
Piper Graham led LCA with 19 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, and four steals. Claire Roberts added 18 points including three three point baskets and six rebounds. Chapel Brown recorded 16 points including three three point baskets, 12 rebounds, and five assists. 5-7 Sr. Ella Gabbert chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets.
Ella Decker led Ohio County with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Emerson Gray added 13 points and three rebounds. 8th Grade Emily Iler recorded eight points and four rebounds. Celeste Jachimowicz chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets and four assists.
