David Hall's music is in high demand. He is available as a woodwind clinician, a private music instructor, and as a performer. David plays Wednesday through Saturday in Lexington at Giuseppe's Ristorante Italiano. He has played at this great restaurant for 24 years. David also performs at numerous private functions such as wedding receptions, parties, dinner engagements, and corporate functions. He is a member of The Lexington Musicians' Association Local 554-635 (American Federation of Musicians) and The North American Saxophone Alliance, and was inducted into the Woodford County Public Schools Hall of Fame in 2018. David can perform as a "one man band". Using the latest musical equipment technology, he produces the sound of a full musical ensemble. The tenor sax, alto sax, soprano sax, clarinet, flute, flugelhorn, ewi, steel pan, and keyboards are featured instruments in many of David's performances. Whether performing by himself or with The David Hall Band, music is tailored to your special occasion. David's songlist includes tunes made popular by famous artists such as Diana Krall, Kenny G, Grover Washington, Jr., Michael Buble, Glenn Miller, Norah Jones, Duke Ellington, Jamie Cullum, Spyro Gyra, George Benson, Stevie Wonder, and many others.
David is a graduate of the University of Kentucky. He is married, a father of three, enjoys fishing, is a fan of the Cincinnati Bengals, and has fun with amateur radio (KI4CFD). David is commissioned a Kentucky Colonel, is active with the Fayette Amateur Radio Team, and is a member of the University of Kentucky Alumni
Association. He also enjoys writing and publishes "Saxman's Notes", his blog and frequently posts on Twitter and Facebook.
