Some of the stories that were told to me were that, Thomas Newton ODELL was never a very ambitious man, but was a good artist. One of his paintings remains in the posession of his grand daughter (Erma M. HAMMON). He taught his grandson Harold L. WALKER the art of oil painting. I believe all five of us (children of Harold Walker) have some of Harold WALKER's paintings.

THOMAS N. ODELL was very tall and stood very straight even into old age.
