The arms of Orlando greeted them; the fans, the press. Warmth from their families beamed on them, engulfed them. Nick smiled, he could taste the love, he could smell it. He definately saw it.
"Nick!" a familuar voice cried happily. Little Aaron's voice. A set of small arms wrapped around Nick's waist; little Aaron's arms. Nick picked the boy up and kissed his forehead and spun him around with happiness. Soon the Carter family was enveloping Nick, enveloping Aaron. The hug broke and Nick felt cold and empty without their warmth, though it was 93 degrees. Nick, Brian, AJ, Kevin, and Howie told each other they'd call each other when they got home, and everyone went their own separate ways with their own separate families.
Nick's fingers intertwined with his mother's. On his left, Aaron's small hand held his pinky. The chain of Carters began with Jane and ended with Bob. Inbetween were Nick, Aaron, Angel, Leslie, and BJ. A chain of family, a chain of love.
