Match Results:
1. The Outsiders with Syxx defeated Bobby Star and David Moore
After barely escaping with their belts from Sturgis, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash started off the Denver, Colorado Nitro by taking on some easier opponents. Within minutes, the NWO's tag team champs dissected their foes and dropped Star with a power bomb. Post match, the Outsiders demanded another match. The Steiners and Ted DiBiase were only too happy to oblige them. Coming from the stands, Rick and Scott cleaned the ring and grabbed the championship belts.

2. Meng defeated Wrath with James Vandenberg
These two mammoth competitors started brawling before the bell and never lost their steam. Highlights included Wrath's somersault body block and off the top lariat and a superplex by Meng. A few minutes into the match, Meng surprised Wrath with the Tongan Death Grip and dropped him for the three count. Post match, Mortis ran to the ring to help his partner, but was thwarted quickly by the Barbarian. A 4 man brawl broke out, with Vandenberg barely escaping a beating from the Faces of Fear.

3. Eddie Guerrero defeated Chris Jericho
Jericho, still charged after his loss at Sturgis, hit Guerrero quick and hard with a combination of power guerrilla and power slams and agility. But Guerrero's new attitude and experience kept the match even. The former US Champ raised his knees when Jericho attempted a Lionsault and used countless illegal maneuvers. Covering nearly the entire length of the ring, Guerrero ended the match with his trademark Frogsplash.

4. NO CONTEST: Dean Malenko vs Jeff Jarrett with Debra in the US Title Match
Enraged over Jarrett's Road Wild betrayal, Malenko unleashed an uncharacteristic flurry of kicks and fists on the current US Champion. After taking a beating, Jarrett attempted to leave the ring, but was stopped by Horsemen Steve "Mongo" McMichael. Jarrett's attempts to slow down the match finally paid off, however, when he caught Malenko on the outside with a slam into the ring steps. But Malenko turned the tides again, hitting a chicken wing powerbomb and his Texas Clover Leaf. Before the US Champ could submit, Guerrero surprised Nitro fans by striking Malenko and forging a bond with Jarrett. Post match, Guerrero and Jarrett pummeled Malenko until McMichael came down for the save. After dumping Guerrero and Jarrett, a distrustful Malenko attacked McMichael.

5. The Steiners defeated Steve "Mongo" McMichael and Chris Benoit
Although both teams were Road Wild victors, Rick and Scott Steiner seemed more focused and driven than their Horsemen counterparts. After a back and forth match of tackles and slams, Rick hit an over the top belly to belly suplex on McMichael and knocked him out cold. The Steiners scored a surprisingly early pin.

6. Diamond Dallas Page defeated Buff Bagwell with Vincent
The NWO's calendar boy put up an amazing fight against Page, controlling the pace of the bout and countering DDP's finisher twice. But an altercation between Bagwell and the referee allowed DDP to gain a second wind and a botched interference attempt by Vincent set up the devastating Diamond Cutter.

7. Ultimo Dragon defeated Mortis with James Vandenberg in the TV Title Match
Brilliant counters made the difference in this excellent match of pit fighting and wrestling excellence. Although Mortis hit the champ with vicious moves like a legdrop bulldog, he lost momentum when the Dragon countered a superplex attempt with a gourd buster suplex off the top. Then, when attempting his trademark Flatliner, Mortis was out maneuvered again. Turning the move into a powerbomb, the Dragon was able to apply his Dragon Sleeper on Vandenberg's charge. Mortis submitted after a few seconds.

8. NO CONTEST: Randy Savage vs. Curt Hennig
In their first WCW encounter, Hennig and Savage presented a main event battle that exemplified the skills and strengths of these two wrestling legends. Hennig caught the Madness early, allowing the match to occur in and out of the ring Savage style. But before either man could get a strong advantage, DDP ran out and hijacked Hennig. After throwing him out of the ring, Page then took on Savage. While Hennig walked back to the dressing room, Scott Hall came out and helped Savage double team Page. After two elbow drops, Lex Luger ran out and cleared the ring.
