“Hey girl, where’s Theresa?” Stephanie grinned as she watch Kevin and Nick leave to go get their bags.
“Oh Theresa, well see her and A.J kind of…”
“They didn’t break up did they?” Stephanie butted in.
“Sort of, she’s been walking around the house with a Kleenex box, a bag of Doritos, and coke. Me nor Nick can talk to her cause she’s been hiding in her room for like ever.” Lisa explained starting to get worried about her little sister.
“Really?” Stephanie asked, Lisa just nodded, “Who broke up with who?”
“She broke up with him.” Lisa answered.
“Why? He was so good to her.” Stephanie sighed at Theresa’s stupidity to let him go like that.
“I know, but let’s talk about something else.” Lisa suggested.
“Ok.” Stephanie said as her and Lisa walked towards Nick.
“How was your time with Kevin’s family?” Lisa wondered.
“Oh it was wonderful. The cabin we stayed in was huge, his brother Jerald was very nice, and Madison is such a doll baby, and lets not forget his mom, she was so, so, so, sweet and caring.” Stephanie awed lifting up her bags off the floor.
“Well I’m glad you had fun with my family.” Kevin chuckled as he kissed Stephanie’s forehead.
“I did.” Stephanie grinned as they all headed out to Nick’s green dodge Durango and climbed in and they was all on they're way back to their house. Arriving at the house Stephanie jumped out and ran to the door and unlocked it then ran in where she seen Theresa walking out of the kitchen with a Kleenex box in one hand and the phone in the other. “Hey girl! I’m home.”
“Happy to see you.” Theresa whispered as she headed back upstairs and to her room to call Jennifer.
“Somebody needs to talk to her or get her help.” Nick sighed as he helped Kevin carry in her bags.
“Why? What’s wrong with her?” Kevin wondered just now getting in on what happen, as Nick filled him in on what happened, the two headed out the door to Nick’s truck.
“Where are you going?” Stephanie asked.
“I’m going to my house to drop off my bags then to A.J’s to see how he’s doing.”
“Oh ok.” Stephanie smiled as she watched the two walk out the door.
-At the same time-
“Jennifer?” Theresa asked.
“Yeah.” Jennifer answered.
“Is Freddie still there?”
“Yeah, why?”
“Just asking.” Theresa lied knowing that she wanted to go to the award show with him.
“You know, he still needs a date, I could see if he wants to go with you.” Jennifer suggested.“No that’s ok. I’m just gonna stay home and watch it on MTV.” Theresa lied again.
“To bad, I’m gonna ask him anyway. Hold on.” “Ok.” Theresa said as she sat there and heard her ask Freddie, but she couldn’t hear what he said.
“He said that he’d love for you to go with him.”
“Really.”
“Yeah. Did you know that he’s been wanting to ask you that for like ever.”
“No.” Theresa laughed.
“Well he did. Hey he wants to talk to you.”
“Ok.”
“Hello.” Freddie said.
“Hi, how are you?” Theresa wondered.
“Good, you?”
“Fine.”
“I’m going to meet you Wednesday at the airport in New York, ok.”
“Ok, but what time?”
“How about 10:00 am.” Freddie guessed.
“Ok.” Theresa responded.
“Well, I’ll let you go now so you can go and find a dress ok.”
“Ok.”
“See you then, bye.”
“Bye.” Theresa said as she hung up the phone then fell back on her bed and dosed off a sleep thinking about Thursday night.
