Miko Hino is the daughter or Rei Hino. Her father is not known but some say that it is Chad because of her hair color. Rei lives in the Cherry Hill Temple and it has been remodeled. Miko lives there as well and helps her mother with chores and keeping the temple open. Miko is very outgoing and talkative and will tell what's on her mind. She enjoys looking at the stars at night pointing out all the constellations. She has rigged a device in her room to show the stars on her ceiling and she will lay on her bed looking at them at night. She is currently seeing Prince Damien Malic, from Starria and got to see the stars from space when he invited her on his ship. She attends Tokyo High with Elyssa, Yukiki and Samira.
As Sailor Sun, she draws her energy and power from the Sun and her fuku colors are orange and red. Her henshin pen is like Constellations, except the symbol of Aries is in the center. When she transforms, she holds her pen above her head and calls out, "Sun Power Make Up!" She has two powerful attacks:
Eternal Solar Flare: She forms a ball of fire between her hands, and throwing it up in the air above her hands yells, "Eternal Solar Flare," the ball floats in the air as it grows bigger and finally explodes, sending a blinding light and flames at the enemy as it destroys it.
Solar Flame Flash: Closing her eyes, her tiara starts to glow a bright orange as a ball of energy appears in her hand. Placing it in a slingshot, made of fire, she hurls the ball at the enemy as it hits them and explodes, filling their evil soul with light and goodness.
