In the Midst of Fairies/Page 3

The Faery Realm

The highmoon shines
On the faery pond
Silver water ripples
from the tounge
Of a passing light
The purest of pure
The most natural of nature
Exists in the faery realm
Light hearted creatures
With wings made of the finest moonbeams
Luna watches
As the peek from behind the mossy tree trunks
And the shower in the night time dew drops
Kissing the flowers
To make then glisten with every happy thought
Mushrooms make the perfect seat
To sit,smile and laugh
In a burst of light
A faery takes flight
Playing between the waterfall mist
And the the flower lagoon
They leave the faery realm
To sit upon your sleeping head
While they grant youre everywish
Some dance along your forehead
And others whipser in your ear to create your dreams
The night is spent
Time to return to the faery realm
Knowing what they do
Is always love for the human kind
They go back into hiding
The faery realm is a beautiful place
But without human belief it will not exist
Faeries are precious and need to be kept
So give a little thought
And next time you dream
Or see a glimpse of light
In the darkness of the night
It just might be the light is a faery
So if you ever dream
Or taste sweetness when you breathe
It might just be a faery
But you have to believe.

"Spirit Eagle Woman"

I am a woman of the sky
With the faeries I do fly

I am a woman of the sky
With the faeries I do cry

I am a woman of the night
With the faeries I will take flight

I am a woman of the day
With the faeries I will play

Bedtime Fairies
by L.C. Gerstenfeld

Fleeting glimpses hard to find,
Imagined wonders of lovely kind.
In night times waking in pleasant dreams,
In the moon's gossamer, silver beams.
Fairies dance the night away,
Gone at dawn, in flight of day.
