Howie gazed around the crowded club, searching for the familiar red head from the previous night. Suddenly he spotted her, standing at the bar waiting for the bartender to take her order. He slowly walked up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist and nuzzling her neck.
"Hey there Sweet Thing. Happy to see me again?" he asked, turning her around in his arms and staring into her silvery gray eyes.
"Oh, it’s you again." She couldn’t contain her smile. She was actually happy to see him again.
"You said if I caught you today you’d be more willing. I think you’re happy to see me again, and even if you aren’t you’ll be glad you got me later." He smirked at her slightly confused expression, and pulled her away from the bar. "By the way, I never caught your name Honey."
"That’s ‘cause you never asked for it. It’s Carmen." She smiled sweetly, leaning into his lips. "What’s your name handsome?"
"Howard, but the guys call me Howie. But you call me Master."
Brian and Stephanie sat in the back of Kevin’s car, as Kevin drove back to the house. Stephanie was staring out the window, while Brian stared at her. Kevin looked back in the rear view mirror, curiously waiting for one of them to speak.
"Stephanie, babe, what’s really wrong? I know it’s not just a simple headache." Brian asked, concerned, running his fingers against the soft skin of her arms. She jerked away immediately, causing a hurt expression from Brian. Kevin smirked, and continued to listen intensely and drive at the same time.
"Nothing is wrong. Just quit assuming you know everything about me. We’ve only known each other for, what, four days?" She stuttered, angry at him, and herself and Kevin. Why had she allowed herself to be dragged into all this?
Brian was taken back by her tone, and moved away from her. ‘Maybe if I just let her be for a while she’ll feel better.’
Theresa and Aj continued to bump and grind on the dance floor, not caring that the entire crowd of guys and girls were staring. Aj was nipping at her earlobes when a hand tapped on his shoulder. Aj looked up to see Howie and a gorgeous auburn haired woman.
"You want something Howie?" he asked, not letting Theresa’s head move from sucking on his neck.
"Yeah, I want you to meet Carmen. The lady I told you about. I thought you and Theresa would like to meet her." He replied, tightening his hold on her waist.
Theresa pulled her head up and turned around to face Howie and his date. Her happy smile changed instantly, as did Carmen’s.
"Oh hello Carmen, it’s nice to see you here." Theresa forced a polite smile. Carmen’s face didn’t change.
"I wish I could say the same, you little slut. I heard you and Stephanie in the bathroom you freak." Carmen stated, bluntly, glaring at her then switching her stares to Aj. "I’d be careful with her, she’s a major slut."
"You little bitch!" Theresa almost lunged at her, but Aj caught her first. She leaned up to his ear and whispered, "She heard me tell Stephanie about becoming a vampire."
"SHIT!" Aj muttered loudly, meeting Howie’s eyes and immediately telling him she had to die. Howie frowned but nodded.
"Darling, why don’t we head out, since you two don’t seem to get along." Howie said, pulling Carmen toward the door.
"I’m gonna go make myself some hot chocolate. Excuse me." Stephanie muttered, walking towards the kitchen. Brian was about to follow her when Kevin touched his arm.
"Just let her be alone for a while." He muttered, walking away into the living room. Brian nodded but wanted to demand what was wrong with her. He finally stopped staring at her cute little ass and walked down the hallway to the study.
"Aj, I’m ready to go home. I’m kinda wore out now." Theresa sighed, her head still resting on his shoulder. He nodded and danced them to the side of the dance floor. "Steph, Brian, and Kev already left so we might as well head home too."
"Yeah, I agree let’s get Nick and head home. Howie will head home after he deals with your little friend." Aj stated, helping her into his leather jacket and scanning for Nick.
Nick was dancing slowly with a short black woman, and he appeared to be whispering sweet nothings in her ear. And as if he could hear Aj’s stares, he jerked his head up. Nick met Aj’s eyes and knew he was time to go. He nodded to him and Theresa and disembraced from the woman and kissed her cheek and whispered good-bye.
Howie tossed Carmen’s limp body into the metal garbage bin behind the club. "Sorry Doll Body, you had to go."
"We’re home, you guys here?" Theresa stated, walking into the house, Aj and Nick following behind her.
"Of course we’re here you dumb ass." Kevin mumbled from his spot on the couch, not looking up from his book.
"Don’t be a smart ass." She growled back, walking into the living room where Kevin was laid out on the couch.
Aj and Nick just kept walking, heading to the game room to play some pool. Theresa didn’t pay any attention though, she was too busy staring at Kevin in only his black pajama bottoms and white wife beater.
Theresa grinned inwardly, and strutted up to the couch, straddling Kevin’s hips. He looked up from the book, not showing the slightest interest.
"What are you doing?" he asked, going back to reading his book.
"Hoping to get a little action from you." She whispered, seductively, leaning in to kiss him, but she suddenly hit the floor. "Ouch! What’d ya do that for?"
"This is what I like to think of as my quiet time." Kevin stated plainly, not looking up from his book.
"Fine, be like that then." She stuttered, standing up and straightening her halter dress. "Ass-hole!" she muttered under her breath. She walked back to the kitchen to find Stephanie staring at a mug of hot chocolate.
"Hey Babes, what’s up?" Theresa asked, sitting across from her friend.
"What? Oh, hey Hun. Not much. What was that loud thud in the living room? Did Kev fall off the couch?" Stephanie snickered, taking a sip from the coffee cup.
"Nah, I just bump something off the table." Theresa lied a slight blush reaching her face.
"Uh-huh, right. Well anyway, I think I’m gonna head up to bed, I’m kinda tired. I wish I could find somewhere other to sleep than in Brian’s room, I mean I was really rude to him in the car and I’m sure he thinks I hate him but I just need some time to think about this." She sighed, standing from the table and putting the mug in the sink. Kevin stepped into the room.
"You can have my room if you want." He said, watching her spin around to see him.
"Um, I’d hate to impose. Where would you sleep?" she muttered, shyly. Theresa notice the weird tension between them but ignored it for the time being.
"No, I’m not really tired and I can always go to the basement if I need to."
"I guess so." She muttered, following him upstairs.
Theresa sat at the table for a few more minutes then finally getting up to go see what Nicky and Aj were up to. She walked quietly down the hallway and past the study’s open door. Suddenly Brian walked out and stopped her.
"What the hell did you say to make Stephanie cry?!?" he demanded, jerking her back by the arm.
"What the hell did I say? You little prick! She found out about your sick little game." Theresa stated jerking her arm out of his hand.
"What game? What the fuck are you talking about?" Brian asked, confused. Theresa just glared at him.
"This is my room." Kevin smiled, proudly, showing Stephanie his dark purple room, complete with a king size bed, covered in a navy satin comforter. It had a large desk and two book shelves full of all sorts of horror books.
"It’s nice Kev, thanks for letting me stay in your room tonight. I really need some time to think by myself." She muttered, quietly, standing next to Kevin at the door way.
"Hey, I’m always here if you want someone to talk to. And you can stay in my room on one condition…" he smirked slyly, as she looked at him slightly skeptically.
"What condition would that be?"
"Just a small kiss. That’s it."
"Where?"
"Anywhere you wanna give me one." Kevin smirked again.
"Fine. You’re gonna have to lean down a little, I’m kinda short for you." She said finally, watching him as he leaned down close to her face. She leaned closer to him then quickly gave him a peck on the lips. "There, see ya later Kev."
"Umm, yeah, uh-huh." He stuttered slightly, surprised she had given him a kiss on the lips. She walked into the room and shut the door behind her, leaving Kevin in shock on the other side of the door. "She ain’t getting away that easy…"
"Yeah your games, having some innocent woman fall madly in love with you, but you using her like a little sex toy. You little ass-hole, I ain’t gonna let you hurt her." Theresa preached, shoving Brian away from her.
"What the hell are you talking about? I’m in love with her. I don’t use people like that." Brian got out before Theresa slapped him. "What the hell was that for?"
" ‘Cause you made her fall in love with you and she’s being hurt by you." She stated throwing a punch towards his face. But a hand caught it before it hit him.
"What is your problem guys? Why are you trying to beat up Brian, Theresa?" Aj asked, pulling her from where Brian stood.
"That prick is just using Stephanie and I’m not going to stand for it. She told me someone told her about you, that you just use women for sex and kill them off." Theresa calmed down slightly and stopped struggling against Aj.
"That’s hardly true. I would never use Stephanie like that. I’m in love with her, and nothing will change that." Brian whimpered, sad to finally hear what was wrong with Stephanie, and it had to do with him. Brian walked back into the study and shut the door.
Theresa actually felt a bit of his pain but refused to believe him until she found out who told Stephanie all that.
Kevin pushed open the door slowly to see Stephanie drop her navy dress to the floor, leaving her in only a lacy black strap-less bra, a pair of lacy black underwear, and black lace up heels. He felt his black pajama bottoms tighten as she unhooked the bra and dropped it on the pile of her clothes and began untying the strings of her shoes. He realized he had been holding his breath and let it out in a gasp. Kevin sighed out loud when she released her hair from the chopsticks, but he let it out a little to loud and Stephanie heard it.
"Excuse me, did you want something Kevin?" She stuttered grabbing the throw blanket from the nearby chair and wrapping it around her nearly naked body.
"Umm, yeah, I have a tee-shirt you can wear if you want." He said, placing the book he had been reading in front of the growing bulge in his pants. He walked in and pulled open a dresser drawer and handed her a large white shirt. "Here."
"Thanks. See ya tomorrow." She muttered, grabbing the shirt from his hand and watched him walk from the room.
"Is this how I hold the stick, Aj?" Theresa asked, grinding her ass against him as he tried to show her how to play pool.
"Umm hmm, just like that." He answered, holding her hips a little tighter. She stopped grinding against him long enough to hit the ball towards the triangle of pool balls. They scattered but none went into the holes. "Not bad, but you’re suppose to hit the balls into the holes."
"Oh, that’s what I’m suppose to do?" Theresa smarted off, turning around in his arms and began kissing down his neck.
"Excuse me, Theresa, may I speak with you for a moment?" A deep, baritone voice asked, making her head jerk around. It was Kevin, standing at the bottom of the basement stairs.
"Umm, sure. I’ll be right back, Hot Stuff. Don’t be using that stick without me." Theresa smirked, kissing Aj’s mouth softly and walking towards Kevin. She started up the stairs, him right behind her. As soon as they were in the hallway, Kevin grabbed her arms and dragged her to the den. He released her, shut the door and took a seat on the leather couch.
"Strip." He said, no emotion in voice.
"WHAT?"
