Drinking Straw Necklace
About this project -
This is an easy craft that can be done with young kids with supervision. I find large, round ended darning needles are the best to use.

Washcloth Bunnies About this project -
Here's a craft for Easter that you might be interested in -- bunnies made from washcloths.

This project is rated VERY EASY to do.

Supplies -

Project how to -

  1. Fold washcloth in half to form triangle.
  2. Roll washcloth from small point to long side.
  3. Fold rolled washcloth in half.
  4. Fold washcloth in half again. Fold loose ends back towards fold.
  5. Place rubberband around washcloth 2 inches(4 cm) from fold. Cover runbberband with ribbon, glue eyes and pom-pom (nose) on.

Use as a holder for your favorite Easter egg.

Another use for the Washcloth Bunnies are as "Bo-bo Bunnies". Instead of holding a egg, put a ice cube in washcloth when your little one gets bumped on the head.

name bug Name Bugs About this project -
I picked this one up somewhere as a kid. No one else in the craft community by me seems to have heard of this one before.

This project is rated VERY EASY to do.

Supplies -

Project how to -

  1. Fold the piece of paper in half.
  2. With the pencil, write your first name in script, about two child-finger's-widths or one adult-finger's-widths above the fold. You will probably want to make letters at least one inch tall. Younger kids might want to make them BIG. The first letter makes the bug's head or antenna.
  3. Cut in from the fold, along the top of your outline, and down the other end to the fold.
  4. Unfold your bug and turn it over.
  5. Color it in with crayons!
