Chapter 1: Bad Encounters

One fall morning Theresa, Stephanie and Lisa were sitting in their new apartment in Orlando, Florida slowly sipping their morning coffee. It was around 5:30am and they were waiting for a shuttle van that was to come and pick them up and take them to a vacant parking lot were they had to get on their tour bus.

“Damn it! Why do we have to leave so damn early? Couldn’t we just have left around 1:00pm?” Theresa the youngest complained quietly as she pulled back her long blond hair into a loose ponytail.

“Cause Theresa, we have to be in North Carolina by the 16th since the other two shows had to be postponed cause of that stupid hurricane.” Stephanie reinformed as they heard the van outside honking its horn. Grabbing their things the three girls headed out to the small black van.

“Don’t worry, we’ll get our sleep on the bus I’m sure.” Lisa yawned as she placed a black Nike bag into the back then climbed in the van and sat in a seat next to Stephanie and Theresa. Pulling away they headed their way down the interstate, finally making it to the vacant lot the three girls noticed seven other buses. Climbing out of the van the girls grabbed their things thanked the driver then headed into their shiny silver bus.

“Damn this place is huge!” Theresa giggled as she walked down the small hallway to the twelve side bunks.

“Yeah it is, but right now all I care about is sleep.” Stephanie said as she chucked her things into a bunk then climbed into an empty one and fell asleep. Theresa and Lisa looked at each other then threw their things into a bunk then climbed in and dosed off to sleep.

-The Next Morning-

Theresa rolled over in the bunk, but rolled over a little to far and fell out onto the bus floor.

“Ouch!” Theresa yelped as she set up rubbed the back of her head. Standing up she had to look around a bit to realize where she was. Then she heard small giggles coming from the front of the bus. Walking up there she noticed Stephanie and Lisa sitting at the small kitchenette table. “What are you two laughing at?”

“You.” Lisa laughed some more as Theresa sat next to her.

“Theresa, we tried to warn you about the top bunk.” Stephanie snickered as she rested her chin in the palm of her hands.

“Shut up.” Theresa blushed then felt the bus stop.

“Oh look, were at a rest stop.” Lisa squealed as she pushed Theresa out of the booth.

“Hey…”

“Ok girls, hi, I’m your bus driver Billy.” Said a tall elderly man as he walked out from behind the front curtain to meet the three young ladies.

“Hi Billy, were eNVY, I’m Stephanie.”

“I’m Lisa.”

“And I’m Theresa.” They all greeted.

“Nice to meet you all. Your manager Donna asked for me to give you this pamphlet that has who all you’ll be touring with and how long.” Billy informed as he handed each of the girls their individual packet.

“Thanks.” Stephanie said as she flipped through the book then noticed a couple of names.

“Hey look the Backstre…who’s the Backstreet Boys?” Theresa asked looking up at the bus driver.

“Oh that’s the main act, they’re the biggest group right now on the pop market.” Billy said. “Well ladies you may go buy something to eat and to put in the refrigerator for you guys to eat while on the road.”

“Ok.” Lisa said as Billy handed each girl a couple of twenty’s that Donna had demanded for the girls to spend on food every once and awhile. The girls took the money then headed off the bus to grab some grub.

-In the store-

“Hmm…what to get.” Nick a tall blond mumbled to himself as he scanned through the many choices of potato chips.

“Carter, just get something.” A.J a dark headed brown eyed guy said as he grabbed a beef stick off the shelf.

“Well those Doritos look yummy.” Nick chuckled as he bent down to get them.

“Excuse me.” A tiny voice interrupted them. Turning around Nick and A.J saw a short young girl with long blond hair, bluish green eyes, small petite body that was covered by a loose pair of gray sweat pants and a white tank top that showed off her well full chest.

“May we help you?” Nick asked rudely.

“No, I was just wanting these chips.” The girl smirked as she reached down and picked up the last bag of Doritos that Nick was eyeing.

“Hey, I was gonna get those.” Nick wined as she began to walk away. The girl just shrugged as she grabbed a bottle of coke then went to the counter to pay for the food. “That bitch.” Nick scoffed.

“Some girls are like that.” A.J sighed as he watched her walk out of the building. “But she isn’t that bad looking.”

“Bone, get a life.” Nick said as he picked up a bag of sour cream and onion potato chips and walked to the front counter.

-On the girls bus-

“Oh my God, you wont believe how rude people can be.” Theresa protested as she walked on the bus and straight back to the entertainment room.

“Theresa, what are you complaining about now?” Lisa sighed as she turned on the 20’ TV, and changing it to MTV.

“I was getting these chips…” Theresa began as she held up the bag then went on, “and this guy, calls me a bitch cause I took them.”

“Oh why live.” Stephanie joked as she plopped down on the circle couch that was in the small room.

“Well I was about to run back and kick his ass but I was nice enough not to do so.” Theresa sighed as she turned her attention to the TV.

“Wow! Theresa this is the first time you have never got into a fight, I’m so proud.” Lisa giggled as Theresa just raised her eyebrow at her and flicked her off.

“And again at number one is the Backstreet Boys.” Carson Daily said from the TV.

“Hmm…maybe we can see who these guys are.” Stephanie said as the video began to play and the five guys appeared on the screen.

“Oh my God!” Theresa gasped.

-On the guys bus-

“Man, these chips taste like shit!” Nick scoffed as he spit the chips into the closest garbage can and through the bag along with it. “Man, why did that bitch have to take my chips.”

“Nick, would you shut up that’s all you’ve been complaining about.” Brian complained as he took a bite of his ham sandwich.

“Brian don’t worry, Nick should get over it soon.” Howie said.

“I…”

“Will.” Kevin butted in.

“Hey guys.” Said a voice as it came onto the bus. Turning around the guys noticed that it was their manager Donna Wright.

“Hi Donna.” All the guys coursed.

“Well guys I hope you’re hyped for the fall tour, and these are your schedules.” Donna said as she handed each guy his separate book. “In it, it contains who you will be touring with and how long. It also has when you have an interview and so on.”

“Ok.” Kevin nodded as all the guys flipped through it.

“Oh yes! We’ve got chicks on tour with us.” A.J yelped.

“Shut up A.J.” Nick spat.

“Now listen guys…” Donna began, “if you are looking for me I’ll either be on my bus or with the girls of eNVY.”

“eNVY? Whose that?” Brian wondered looking up at her with question marks in his big blue eyes.

“Oh its another group I’m managing.” When the guys were about to protest she finished before they could. “Guys it’s a girl group.”

“Oh.” They all sighed a breath of relief.

“Well I better go and talk to them about their schedule. Bye.” Donna waved as she walked off the bus.

“Bye.” They replied in unison.

“Hmm…eNVY. This should be interesting.” Nick stated.
