“Your welcome. And I know.” Nick smirked. After that there was a awkward silence between the two then Nick spoke up. “Well I better get going.”
“Ok.” Lisa sighed as Nick began to walk away. “Nick wait.” She called out grabbing his arm and pulling him to her. Quickly yet gently she kissed his lips then headed into her room leaving Nick standing in the hall with a large smile across his face.
-The Next morning-
Theresa awoke from the bright sunshine that was coming through her cracked blinds. Sitting up she climbed out of bed and pulled on her black sweat pants then pulled her messy locks back into a loose ponytail. Then headed out of her room and down the hall and to the elevator to get to Lisa’s room since they were on different floors this time. As soon as she got to the elevator she decided to head to the small café on the first floor to grab a coffee. After getting her coffee she slowly sipped it as she waited for an elevator to come down. While waiting she heard a husky voice speak to her.
“Do you mind if I grab this elevator with you?” He asked. Theresa turned around to realize that it was A.J. She exhaled loudly then just nodded while the doors came open. Walking in Theresa pushed the floor she was going to along with A.J.
‘Oh man, just great, I get stuck taking an elevator with a guy I half like and half hate.’ Theresa thought. There was an awkward silence until there was a hard jolt causing the elevator to stop.
“What the fuck!” Theresa cursed as she began to punch all of the number on the control pad.
“Not again.” A.J sighed as he walked over to Theresa and picked up the help phone but there was no dial tone. “Great.” He mumbled.
“Damn it!” Theresa complained then started beating on the door. “HELP! GET ME THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!” She screamed. A.J couldn’t help but laugh at her. “What are you laughing at?”
“You.” He replied simply.
“Why?” Theresa asked placing her hands on her hips.
“No ones gonna hear you.” A.J said leaning against the wall crossing one leg over the other.
“And how the fuck would you know?” Theresa asked angrily.
“It’s happened to me before.” A.J grinned. “And you think this is funny?” Theresa wondered taking another sip of her hot coffee hoping that it would soothe her nerves.
“Actually yeah.” A.J said.
-In Lisa’s room-
Lisa awoke to the knocking at her door, climbing out of her bed she walked to the door still in her pajamas.
“Yes?” She said quite rudely as she flung open the door to be met by a dozen of white and pink roses.
“Are you Ms. Lisa?” The bellboy asked from behind the beautiful flowers.
“Yes.” Lisa nodded still in awe.
“These are for you.” He said handing her the flowers then heading back down the hall. Lisa shut the door with her foot since her hands were full then took the flowers to a large table beside the full window and sat them down, since there was already a vase that they were in. She then noticed a small card on a card stick and picked it up and begin to read what it had to say:
Good morning beautiful,
I hope you enjoyed last night, I surly did and I hope you liked the roses. So what do you say to meeting me downstairs for breakfast, lets say around 11:00. I’ll be in the small café shop next to the gift store, just meet me there ok. Bye till then.

“Aww, he’s such a sweat heart.” Lisa cooed as she looked up at the clock and noticed that it was 10:35. “Oh damn, I better start getting ready.” Lisa stated as she stood up and headed for the shower.
-Meanwhile-
Climbing out of the shower, Stephanie grabbed a towel off the back of the toilet and headed into the bedroom to find some decent clothes for her to wear that day. As soon as she got to her bed there was a knock at the door. Expecting it to be Lisa or Theresa she just opened the door the way she was. Slowly opening the door she realized that it wasn’t but Kevin.
“Oh hi Kev, didn’t expect to see you knocking at my door.” Stephanie blushed trying to cover herself a bit.
“Sorry, I’ll come back later when you’re fully dressed.” Kevin chuckled as he turned to leave.
“Wait! What did you want?” Stephanie asked.
“To see if you wanted to join me for breakfast this morning or something.” Kevin replied looking her up and down. Stephanie noticed his roaming eyes and started to feel a bit uncomfortable so she started hiding behind the door.
“Ok sounds good. How about after I get dressed I’ll meet you down there in the lobby.” Stephanie suggested.
“Ok, cool. See ya then.” With that Kevin walked off and Stephanie closed the door.
‘What to wear, what to wear.’ Stephanie thought as she rummaged through every piece of clothing she had.
-In the elevator-
Theresa was tired of yelling after ten minutes and decided that she should just sit down and wait for someone to come and rescue her from being in an elevator with him.
“Now what are we suppose to do now?” Theresa asked out loud but was talking more to herself. She looked up and noticed A.J staring at her. “What?”
“Nothing.” He blushed and looked away. Theresa just shrugged and lied down on her back onto the floor. “Tired?”
“No, I’m just wide awake more then anything.” Theresa stated sarcastically turning and looking at him.
“Sorry.” A.J apologized putting his hands up in defense. “Why can’t I never be able to make a conversation with you?” He asked. Theresa just shrugged and closed her eyes. “Do you like hate me or something?” Theresa just nodded. A.J sighed heavily then thought of something to pass time. “Can we play a little game?”
“Sure I guess.” Was all that came out of Theresa’s mouth.
“Say the first word that comes to mind.” A.J grinned.
“Ok.” Theresa agreed sharply.
“I’ll start.” A.J said. “Coffee.”
“Jerk.”
“Smile.”
“Dick head.”
“Laugh now.”
“Idiot.”
“A.J.”
“Theresa.”
“Is.”
“Pretty.”
“Fuck off.”
“Hate.”
“You.”
“Why?”
“Cause.”
“Fuck.”
“You.”
“Promise?”
“What!” Theresa gave A.J a disgusted look.
“Ok, forget that game. Theresa please tell me why you hate me?” A.J begged.
“You really wanna know?” Theresa stated sternly.
“Yeah.” A.J nodded.
-In Nick’s room-
Just as Nick was spitting out the tooth paste that was in his mouth he turned his head to notice Hailey standing there watching him.
“What?” He asked looking at her leaned against the frame of the bathroom door.
“So tell me, how was your date with Lisa?” Hailey demanded.
“Well if you must know. It went quite well.” Nick smiled to himself.
“Did you kiss her?” Hailey wondered as she walked back into his bedroom and laid down on his messy bed.
“Well…” Nick trailed off as he slipped on his sky blue Nike T-shirt. “I didn’t kiss her.”
“You…”
“She kissed me.” He smiled proudly as he plopped down next to her.
“Oww, demanding ain’t we.” Hailey giggled.
“Yeah, but I’m meeting her for breakfast.” Nick stated.
“Go Nick.” Hailey encouraged as she climbed off his bed. “Well see ya later, I’ve gots to catch up on my soaps.”
“Bye Hailey.” Nick waved as she opened the door.
“Bye Nick.” Hailey winked as she walked out of the door shutting it behind her.
-At the same time-
Lisa stood impatiently waiting for the elevator to come.
“Damn it, what’s wrong with this stupid thing.” Lisa complained as she pushed the down button three more times and still there was no elevator.
“Hey Lisa.” Hollered a voice from down the hall. Turning around she noticed that it was Nick walking towards her.
“Well hey there sexy.” Lisa flirted crossing her arms. “I got your flowers. Thanks, they were very pretty.”
“I’m glad you liked them. So you waiting for an elevator?” Nick asked.
“Nah, I’m just standing here trying to be a body guard.” Lisa said sarcastically. “Yeah, I’ve been waiting. It’s been like 10 minutes already.”
“Really! Dang, the elevator must be stuck. Come on lets walk down to the main office and tell them about it.” Nick suggested.
“Ok.” As they began to walk down the corridor and to the stair exit. Just before they headed downstairs Nick grabbed Lisa’s hand and pulled her close to him. Wrapping his arm around her waist he kissed her lips deeply forcing his tongue into her mouth and intertwining his with hers. Pulling away breathlessly he just stared at her.
“Sorry, I just wanted to do that.” Nick apologized looking away.
“Don’t be.” Lisa blushed as they headed downstairs hand and hand.
-In the café-
Stephanie and Kevin sat across from each other quietly sipping their coffees and just thinking of the past events.
“We have a concert tonight don’t we?” Stephanie asked giving Kevin eye contact.
“Yeah…yeah, yeah we do.” Kevin replied slowly.
“Oh, you know this tour is actually very interesting. I mean, who would have ever guessed that we’d end up sharing a tour bus with five hot guys and having so much fun.” Stephanie joked.
“Really.” Kevin smiled.
“Yeah. But this hotel’s cheap.” Stephanie complained.
“Yeah. Did you have to walk down here?” Kevin asked.
“Yep. I think the elevators stuck.” Stephanie stated removing a piece of black hair out of from in front of her face and to behind her ear.
“Probably is. Or…” Kevin trailed off wiggling his eyes suggestively.
“KEVIN!” Stephanie nearly screamed. “I never thought you’d have a mind like that.”
“Well things changed.” Kevin chuckled a bit.
-In the elevator-
“Do you wanna know why I hate you A.J?” Theresa yelled sitting up and looking him directly in the eyes.
“Yes, I would.” A.J nodded staring back at her.
“Cause of the way you treat me, like I’m some blond bimbo that sleeps with every guys I see.” Theresa spat.
“Theresa…”
“I don’t care what you say right now but the other night what you said really hurt my feeling, and all you done was laugh at the rude comment that you made towards me.” Theresa butted in with tears filling in her eyes.
“Theresa I never meant for it to hurt you.” A.J said softly looking down at his rough hands.
“Sure you didn’t.” Theresa stated leaning against the wall of the elevator crossing her arms.
“I didn’t. The only reason I was acting that way was because I really, really like you and I cant show it cause your Amanda’s friend and all.” A.J explained.
“I know.” Theresa mumbled playing with the gold wedding band like ring that a small cross on it, on her ring finger, turning it and taking it off and putting it back on.
“How did you know?” A.J blushed a little, watching her play with the ring.
“Kevin told me.” Theresa grinned up at him.
“I’m gonna kill him.” A.J growled a bit.
“Don’t, I’m glad he told me.” Theresa smiled picking up her coffee that was now a little cold and took a sip of it. "Yuck!"
“And why is that?”
“Cause I like you too.” Theresa confessed now the one blushing.
-Downstairs-
“Excuse me.” Lisa said as she stood at the front desk waiting for someone to help her.
“Yes, may I help you?” Asked a short elderly lady with a short curly white hair.
“Yeah, me and…um…Nick here were waiting for the elevator and we stood there for like 10 minutes and the stupid thing never came…” Lisa trailed off.
“We think its stuck or something.” Nick finished.
“Oh dear. I’ll get the hotel repair people up there as soon as possible. Thanks for letting me know.” The women stated.
“Your welcome.” Lisa nodded as her and Nick headed off to the small café. “Hey looks its Stephanie and Kevin. Aww, look at them, their drinking coffee together. How sweet.” Lisa confessed.
“I didn’t know that they were an item.” Nick exclaimed as he followed Lisa into the café.
“Hey guys.” Lisa waved walking towards them.
“Oh hey.” Stephanie smiled up at her friend.
“What are you two doing here?” Kevin asked.
“Hmm…lets think about that for a minute.” Lisa said scratching her head. “Oh yeah, were here to get coffee and some breakfast, duh.”
“Ok Lisa enough with the sarcastic shit.” Stephanie demanded as Lisa and Nick sat with them.
“No, it’s actually pretty fun.” Lisa giggled.
“Its annoying.” Stephanie mummered taking a bit of her frosted donut.
“So are you two an item now?” Nick questioned pointing to Stephanie and Kevin.
“Maybe.” Kevin smiled at Stephanie.
“Possible.” Stephanie smiled back at Kevin.
-In A.J’s hotel room-
‘Where the hell is he?’ Amanda thought as she turned off the TV and threw the remote on the messed up bed as she stormed off for the door.
“It’s been like 30 minutes since he left.” Amanda complained as she walked down the hall to Theresa’s room. Knocking four times on the door no one answered so she cracked it open to see Theresa wasn’t in there. Making her way to the elevator she pushed the down button but the elevator never came. Just then she heard voices.
“Wow, that’s a shock! I would have never guessed.”
“Well believe it.”
‘Hey that’s A.J.’ Amanda thought to herself. “A.J, is that you in there?” Amanda yelled at the door. It was quiet for a minute then she heard someone yell back.
“AMANDA! GET US OUT OF HERE!” Theresa screamed as she began to beat on the door.
“I will just wait there I’ll go get someone.” Amanda suggested.
“Oh yeah, well be right here, I promise ya, we won’t be moving anytime soon.” Theresa said sarcastically. Amanda laughed a bit then headed down the hall to the staircase, then down to the front desk.
“Excuse me.” Amanda said as she stood there waiting for someone to come help her but they kept walking past her. “EXCUSE ME!” She yelled finally getting the ladies attention.
“Oh yes, sorry.” The women apologized.
“Anyway, the elevators are stuck.” Amanda stated.
“I know, I just called someone…”
“WELL TELL THEM TO HURRY UP, CAUSE MY BOYFRIEND AND BEST FRIEND ARE IN THERE!” Amanda screamed as she took off running towards the staircase just then bumping into Kevin, Stephanie, Nick and Lisa.
“Whoa Amanda, slow down what’s wrong?” Kevin asked.
“Theresa and A.J…” Amanda panted trying to catch her breath, “are stuck in the elevator.” She finally got out.
“Oh man, Theresa and A.J, I’m sorry but just imagine what they’re doing.” Lisa laughed.
“Probably yelling at each other.” Nick chuckled.
-In the elevator-
“Um…wow, you like me too?” A.J stuttered. Theresa just nodded and started to blush.
“Well…but to get this straight it will not interfere to Amanda and I’s friendship, so don’t try anything.” Theresa stated.
“I wont, scouts honor.” A.J promised putting his hand up and making a silly face.
“Dork.” Theresa laughed.
“Hey I recent that.” A.J pouted.
“Oh why live?” Theresa joked now sitting Indian style looking at A.J.
“So Theresa, tell me a little about yourself.” A.J said, as he let his eyes roam her body.
“Well…what is there to know?” Theresa asked.
“For starters, like how old are you?”
“18.” Theresa answered.
“Where are you from?” A.J asked.
“Kentucky.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, lived there all my life until me, Steph and Lisa got that record deal, now we live Orlando.” Theresa filled in.
“Cool.” A.J grinned.
“Damn it, I can’t wait till Amanda bitches someone out and we get out of here.” Theresa sighed.
“Same here.” A.J agreed.
“Why don’t you like N’SYNC?” Theresa asked cocking an eyebrow at him.
“Honestly I don’t know, I mean there just like us, you know boy band and all.” A.J answered. “Why?”
“Just asking.” Theresa smiled but had to look away before her secret only Stephanie and Lisa know got out. Just then they felt a hard jolt and the elevator started to come down, slowly. “OH MY GOD! WERE GONNA GET OUT OF THIS!” Theresa jumped up and down screaming. A.J just nodded with a smile on his face. As soon as the doors came open Theresa was the first one out of there. “I am never taking elevators again.” She stated while she got hugs from everyone, and along with A.J.
“Hey, Theresa look over there by the doors.” Lisa suggested smiling widely.
“Why…OH MY…JUSTIN!” Theresa screamed as she ran towards her boyfriend. Jumping into his arms she wrapped her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck and kissing him like a crazy.
“Hey baby.” Justin smiled as he kissed her sweetly on the lips. Intertwined in a long passionate kiss Theresa finally decided to break free from his mouth and let him breath for a change.
“She’s dating him.” Nick whispered in Lisa’s ear, and all Lisa could do was nod and smile. Walking hand in hand towards the crowd Theresa decided to introduce Justin.
“Justin, these are some of my friends. Guys, this is my boyfriend Justin.” Theresa introduced.
“Hi.” Everyone greeted in unison.
“Hey.” Justin waved.
“Are long are you in town Justin?” Stephanie asked.
“Just until you guys get back on the road, I thought I’d take a little break from recording and come and see my baby in action.” Justin answered.
“In bed.” A.J muttered quietly so no one could hear, but to late Theresa did and just stared evilly at him.
“Anyway, Justin, I have a concert tonight, and I have to get changed and take a shower but were not going up the elevator.” Theresa smirked.
“Why?” Justin wondered.
“I just came out of it, like a couple of minutes ago.” Theresa sighed. “I’ll explain it to ya on the way up to my room.”
-In Stephanie’s room-
“What’s Justin doing here?” Stephanie asked Lisa as she tossed a few things into her back bag before heading out the door.
“Have no clue. Probably here to see Theresa, why else?” Lisa answered following Stephanie out into the hallway.
“Lisa, remember they’re not a couple anymore.” Stephanie spat stopping to look at Lisa.
“So, doesn’t mean that he still cant come and see her.” Lisa smiled as they headed to the elevator.
“I still don’t get it, and Theresa introduced him as her boyfriend. I just don’t get it.” Stephanie gave up.
“What is there to get? Remember a while back when Theresa did Justin a favor?” Lisa asked running her hand through her short brown hair.
“Yeah, she acted like she was is girlfriend so Brittany Spears would leave him alone.” Stephanie explained.
“There ya go.” Lisa smiled at her friend. “That’s exactly why Justin’s here. Theresa likes A.J, but A.J’s dating Amanda so Theresa wants A.J to think that she’s dating Justin.”
“Oh ok, so Theresa’s trying to make A.J jealous.” Stephanie replied and Lisa just nodded.
-In Kevin’s room-
“Hey Kev, can I talk to you for a minute?” A.J asked cracking open the door a little to see Kevin resting on his bed with his eyes shut. Opening one eye Kevin peered over at A.J and just nodded.
“Sure. What do you want?” Kevin wondered sitting up.
“Ok well…see…” A.J trailed off sitting on the uncomfortable hotel couch that was in front of the bed. “I like this girl, but see…I’m dating someone and so is she, but I know she likes me but what do I do?”
“A.J, I know that you’re talking about Theresa, and to let you know, I don’t know what to tell you about you and Amanda. But if you’re in love with Amanda, then stay with Amanda don’t leave her because of somebody that you like. And if Theresa is in love with her boyfriend then she isn’t gonna leave him to date you.” Kevin confirmed.
“But…I really like Theresa, like she’s the one for me. But yeah, I love Amanda…and I don’t know how Theresa could be in love with Justin…”
“A.J are you jealous?” Kevin butted in.
“No…”
“Truth.” Kevin demanded.
“Ok, ok. Just a little.” A.J blushed. “Anyway, what’s up with you and Stephanie?”
“Nothing, were just friends.” Kevin answered now the one blushing.
“Sure.” Was all A.J said before walking out of his room.
‘What is up with me and Steph?’ Kevin thought as he fell back onto the bed and throwing the covers over his head.
