“Hell yeah!” Nick chuckled moving closer to Lisa slowly wrapping an arm around her waist.
“Nickay, I’m back.” Abby said tapping on his shoulder.
“Oh, ok honey.” Nick replied quickly pulling from Lisa. “It was nice dancing with you Lisa.” He blushed.
“Me too.” Lisa waved walking away, emotions building strongly inside.
-Later-
“Hey Nicky, I’m sorry but I’ve gotta jet.” Abby sighed shutting her cell phone off and looking at her boyfriend.
“Why?” He asked rubbing his hand against her arm.
“My mom is going into one of those depressed moods cause her and dad got into a argument.” Abby frowned.
“Do you want me to come with you?” Nick questioned.
“Nah, don’t worry about it. I’ll come over tomorrow. Bye babe.”
“Bye.” Nick smiled kissing her then watching her exit the party. Looking down at his empty glass of gin, Nick sighed and stood from his spot at the booth and headed for the bar. “A shot of gin.”
“Alright.” The bartender said as he went to work on Nick’s drink. “There ya go.”
“Thanks.” Nick nodded sitting down at one of the stalls as he dropped a five-dollar bill on the damp bar. Quickly gulping it down and asking for another, Nick noticed someone stirring a full glass of white wine with their finger. Quickly recognizing that it was a female’s hand, he looked up and was met with a pair of brown eyes. “Lisa…why are you sitting here looking all sad?”
“Kyle’s not showing.” Lisa sighed raising her head from her hand, which it was resting in.
“I’m sorry.”
“It’s cool. Where’s Abby?” Lisa questioned taking a slight sip of her drink.
“She left, something about a family problem.” Nick replied. “Wanna dance?”
“Sure.” Lisa grinned standing from her spot and taking Nick’s outstretched hand as he led her out towards the dance floor. Feeling him pull her closer towards him, Lisa sighed resting her head on his chest, missing the warm sensation that she always felt being in his arms.
“I miss you.” He whispered into her brown hair.
“I miss you too.” Lisa slowly looked up and stared at his perfectly shaped lips. Slowly leaning in, Nick brushed his lips against hers hoping she wouldn’t pull away. She didn’t, she only pushed closer, gently running her tongue along his bottom lip taking it into her mouth slowly sucking on it. Letting a moan escaped his lips, he ran his large hands down her back making them rest upon her lower back, pulling her closer to him.

Slowly lying across the bed, Nick gently caressed Lisa’s neck with his lips as she ran her hands under his shirt, wanting to take it off. Running his fingers along Lisa’s leg, he rested them on her upper thigh under her black skirt, gently massaging it then bringing up to rest against his waist.

“Lisa…” Nick trailed off sitting up behind her and gently caressing her shoulders with his lips. “We can work things out.”
“Can we?” Lisa snorted. “We didn’t even make our last relationship work.”
“We were young and looking for a companion on the road…”
“Was that all I was to you?”
“N-no…” Nick stuttered wrapping his arms around her waist. “I was in love with you. Did you love me?”
“Oh course I did.” Lisa sighed. “But…I don’t know Nick…”
“Baby, can we try just once more?” Nick mumbled against her hair.
“I don’t know…”
“Please? It’ll work I just know it will…it has to.” Nick stated.
“I guess.” Lisa smiled turning her head and kissing him lovingly. “Wanna go at it again?”
“Oh would I?” Nick chuckled pulling her back against the bed and pouncing on top of her, smothering her body with kisses.

Waking up, Lisa stretched her arms as she rolled onto her back gently tightening the white sheet that was draped over her naked body. “Mmm…where’s Nicholas?” She whispered sitting up and reaching for one of his T-shirts that laid limply on the nightstand table next to the bed.
“What do you mean it’s over?”
Lisa heard Abby’s voice from downstairs. “Oh shit!” She cursed slowly walking down the hall to a corner where she peaked over to see a pissed Abby stomp around the living room, and a distressed Nick sitting on the couch with his hands over his face.
“I’m sorry Abby, but I just don’t think that it’ll work out.”
‘Oh God, I feel so bad.’ She thought as Abby started to cry.
"Fine. It was nice knowing you Nick!”
With that Lisa watched Abby run out the door slamming it behind her. “Nick!?” She gently asked walking down the staircase.
“Lisa?” Nick looked up his face tear-streaked.
“You loved her didn’t you?” Lisa questioned sitting on the very last step looking at him.
“Yes, yes I did.” Nick stuttered he was obviously crying.
“Then why did you break it off with her and get with me?” Lisa asked quietly looking down at her hands, her fingers slightly trembling. Was she nervous?
“Cause…cause I love you more. Lisa…” He trailed off standing from the couch and walking towards the sadden brunette. “I’ve known you longer, I’m more attached to you. I fell in love with you when I first laid eyes on you…”
“Nick…”
“No Lisa, I love you more than anything, and I truly realized it when I lost you.” Nick whispered against her lips.
“Aww…I love you too.” Lisa sighed as Nick captured her words in his mouth as he kissed her passionately and resting in between her legs.
