When I see an open bible, vision's flood my mind. I see my dear old mother, another place, another time and all of these memories are left with me behind. She could not see to read her bible.but Jesus was her guide. I knew when she was dying he stood there by her side. The last words she had spoken were Lord have mercy on me,she knew that she was leaving,with Jesus she would be, he had heard her prayers and set her spirit free. So I know she's waiting on the far side banks of Jorden,waiting and reaching for God's hand.I know her face is brightly shining as before my God she stands. I can't say that I will know her, but she is there I know, waiting for her children to come home.Sometimes I get so weary that I wish that I could go,It's times when I am so alone, depressed and feeling low. But my Jesus left this promise, If I would do his will.so in my heart his spirit lies softly sweet and still.Just search through God's Holy Word and this I'm sure you'll see. one day he'll split the eastern skies, and come for you and me. ~~Mom went to Heaven January 1980~~
