"Hey, Nick? Wanna go shopping?" I asked about three hours later. Melanie had gone back home because she had dance practice. I walked out onto my patio where he was sitting in a lounge chair. "Sure, let's go," he said. We went back inside and I grabbed my keys and my purse. "I'll drive," I said. A few minutes later we were rollin down Seaside Avenue, and, wouldn't ya know it, "I Want It That Way" came on! "Oh, turn that off," Nick said, reaching for the radio. I slapped his hand away. "No! I like this song!" I protested. "I especially like the guy who sings this part, although I'm not exactly sure who he is," I said. I reached down and turned up the volume as Nick's voice blared out of the speakers. "Amanda! I really don't want to hear myself sing, I have been for the last seven months!" he said. But by that time we had gotten to the mall. I saw Nick reach into my backseat, pull out a Kentucky Wildcats baseball hat and yellow Oakley sunglasses. "Oh, Nick, how original," I said. He tucked his blonde hair back into the hat and looked over at me. "Now look here, I can't just walk in there! You know that," he said. I started laughing and he reached over and started tickling me. "Nick! No, Nick! Stop!" I squealed. "Haha, look who's laughing now," he said. I stuck my tongue out at him and got out of the car. ____________________________________________________________________________________ "Hmmm, how about we go in here?" he asked about an hour later. I looked up at the sign. "Victoria's Secret, huh?" I asked, looking at him. He had a divilish grin on his face, but those pleading puppy dog eyes. "Ohmygoodness, let's go," I said, taking him by the arm and pulling him into the store. "Good afternoon. Are you looking for anything in particular today?" a salesperson asked us. "Ummm, no, just looking," I answered. I started to walk off but I overheard the woman talking to Nick. "We just recieved a new shipment of these silk pajamas. I'm sure your girlfriend would love them!" the woman said, showing Nick some pretty revealing pajamas. I lloked over at him and noticed that he was turning a deep shade of red. "Oh, umm, well, okay, thanks," I heard him say. The woman smiled and walked away. I walked back over to Nick. "You ready?" I asked. Just then, we heard screams and about fifty girls came running into the store. "Shit," I heard him say. All of a sudden we were surrounded by teeny boppers, all trying to get an autograph, maybe a hug if they were lucky. "Umm, Amanda, help me!" he said. But because of the herd of girls, I was slowly getting pushed farther and farter away from him. Eventually I was practically pushed all the way out of the store and into the mall. I decided to sit down on a bench and wait for Mr. Popular. But he wasn't his normal nice self that day. I saw him push through the girls, run out into the mall, then he grabbed my hand and we sprinted to the car. "Oh my gosh how did they find me?" he said, buckling his seatbelt. "Well, let's see, you are a six foot two, blonde who is wearing a baseball hat and sunglasses in a mall. No, Nick Carter obsessed girls aren't gonna notice that one!" I said laughing. "Well thanks Amanda!" he said, laughing with me. "Hey, you wanna go get something to eat? I'm starving," he said. "Yeah, how about pizza?"
