"So, Cristina, how did you meet Howie?" Caitlyn asked thei new friend. The four girls had come to the arena with the guys this afternoon and had met Cristina whne she arrived later that day. She would be spending about four weeks with the nine of them, and so far she seemed like an awesome person. "Well, I am an assistant PR director for a radio station up in New York, and a few months ago the guys were up there and I interviewed them for the radio station," Cristina explained. Although she was a few years older than the rest of them (she was 22) she still acted like a teeneger and she had the best sense of humor. "Cool," Katie said. All of the girls were in the dressing room at the arena, waiting for the concert to start. They had decided that they were going to stay in the dressing room and watch the concert on the TV instead of standing in the wings backstage and getting in everyone's way. About two hours after the show started, Lorie stood up. "Ugghh, it's hot in here. I'm gonna go get some fresh air," she said. "Want me to come?" Michelle offered. "No, that's okay. I'll be right back," Lorie answered, walking out the door. She made her way down the hall to the door at the end. She opened it and stood outside, propping her foot in the doorway so she wouldn't get locked out. After a few minutes she had enough stargazing, but when she turned back around to go inside, someone grabbed her from behind. She tried to scream, but her mouth was covered by a gloved hand. _____________________________________________________________________________ "Hey, you all!" Kevin said, entering the dressing room about ten minutes later. "What's with the glum faces?" AJ asked, stepping into the room. "Cristina what's wrong?" Howie asked, sitting down on the couch next to her. "Well, nothing really. Lorie's been gone for about fifteen minutes now. She said she was coming back soon," Cristina answered. At that very moment Nick and Brian came through the door laughing hysterically about something, but they saw the worried looks on the girls' faces, and no Lorie. "What's wrong?" Brian asked, his laughter stopping. ________________________________________________________________________________ "No, please, stop!" Lorie screamed. Or at least, she thought she screamed. Tears were streaming down her face and she could barely whisper. Her nose was bleeding and she had a cut on her left cheek. She was lying on the rough pavement, with her hands tied up above her head. She looked to her right and saw her shirt, torn, and her red bra, with a now broken clasp, sitting about two feet away. She looked back at the masked person and saw her jeans around her ankles and her torn thong underware about three feet away. The masked figure looked at her, hit her across her face, laughed and stood up. He took a knife out of his boot and switched up the blade. "Please, please, no, don't kill me," Lorie thought, but she couldn't get the words out. He bent down by her face, holding the kinfe. "I would never hurt you like this, Lorie, but I had to, You had to learn your lesson!" he said. She thought she was going to die. He hit her across her face again. Then all she saw was blackness.
