Chapter 2~ Modeling
"Katie! Hey girl! It's Lorie. Michelle got the tickets in the mail today, along with the backstage passes! WE ARE GONNA MEET THE BACKSTREET BOYS!!!! AHHH! You will finally be able to meet your little AJ-pooh! Hahaha. Girl, I gotta go...practice starts in three minutes! Michelle just called me, so that's why I called you. Aren't you extatic! See you after practice! Luv ya!" Katie smiled as she flipped off her ansering machine. She was so happy that they got the tickets and backstage passes, but she had so much on her mind at the moment. Matt, her boyfriend of three years, had broken up with her last night. Just out of the blue! She could sense it was going to heppen, and she wasn't as upset as she thought she would be. Katie sat down on a bar stool and opened her portfolio. She scattered pictured everywhere. Ones of her in grand dresses, ones of her in bathing suits, ones of her in lingerie, and ones of her in regular clothes. She couldn't decide. Earlier that day she had gotten a call from Marcia Luckett, an exec at Elite Modeling, asking Katie to send her a small sample of her modeling shoots. Katie had so many pictures to choose from, and she had to send the very best. She decided on four: one of her in black hip huggers and a black tube top standing on a roof with a coy smile on her face, one of her on the beach in a baby blue bikini with white daisies all over it, another on the beach in a fire engine red bikini and her blonde hair flowing everywhere, and the last one was her sitting in a field of sunflowers in green panties, holding two sunflowers in front of her bare breasts. She thought she had picked the best ones, so she sealed them in an envelope and sent them off. Suddenly, her phone rang, startling her. "Hello?" Katie answered. "Katie! It's Caitlyn." The voice said. "Hey girl. I just got home. Did Lorie tell you about the concert?" Katie asked. "No! She didn't. Why?" Caitlyn replied. Then Katie thought of something. "Why aren't you at practice with Lorie?" she asked. "Oh, I didn't have to go. They only took half of the team today, and the other half goes tomorrow. Anyway, what about the concert?" Caitlyn said exasperated. "Oh nothing...except we got BACKSTAGE PASSES!" Katie shrieked. She was finally getting excited. "Are you serious! Ohmygosh!" Caitlyn screamed. She was obviously excited, too. The girls talked for about fifteen more minutes, and Caitlyn explained that she had to go meet her sister for something. The girls got off the phone and Katie was immediately snapped back into her modeling world. "What if they don't like them? What if they DO like them!" she thought to herself. What she didn't know was that those four photos were going to change her life forever.
