"Lorie, baby, come here," Nick said to her. She turned away from the window of her hotel room to look at him. He smiled and she walked over to him. He was sitting in a chair so she sat on his lap. "I was thinking. How would you feel if I went public about our relationship?" he asked nervously. She threw his arms around his neck and looked into his blue eyes. "Nickolas Carter, that is the most amazing thing you could do. I have been waiting so long for the whole world to know that I am your girlfriend," she said, kissing him. Things started to get a bit hot and heavy until Brian knocked on the door and let himself in. "Lorie, I--ohmygosh, guys I'm sorry!" Brian's face flushed crimson and he excused himself. Nick and Lorie laughed and Lorie looked at the clock. "Shit, Nick! The shoot starts in an hour! We have to get to the studio!" she said, quickly getting up and heading to the bathroom. She brushed her teeth and her hair, grabbed her purse and headed to her rental car. Nick was right behind her. _______________________________________________________________________________ "Where are Lorie and Nick!" Michelle asked. The shoot started in thirty-five minutes, and Nick and Lorie were nowhere to be found. They had to get hair and make-up done too! "We're here!" Nick said, as almost on cue, when he and Lorie entered the studio hand in hand. "Good! Nick, you need to go to wardrobe and Lorie you need to go to hair and make-up! Get moving!" Howie instructed. The couple did as they were told, and thirty minutes later, Lorie's hair was up in cornrolls and her make-up was done to perfection. She headed to wardrobe to pick up her assigned outfit. She didn't get to pick it out, but she knew it would be awesome. She was right. Caroline, the wardrobe designer for the Boys, had picked out a short white skirt and a baby blue shirt (yes, it is January, but it's a studio and they are in Florida!). About three minutes after she got dressed, she heard the director of the video shout, "Places!" The boys were dressed alike in khaki-colored clothes (think middle layout picture in the MILLENNIUM cover book-thing)and the girls all had on different things. After about two hours of getting the Boys doing their stuff, the director explained what the girls would be doing. Michelle was being told that she would be in a bedroom-like setting, sitting on a bed, talking on the phone. Brian would be on the other "end" singing the bridge of the song ("Give me one more chance to give my love to you, cause no one on this Earth loves you like I do")and that when he said the word "earth" she was supposed to start crying, shaking her head no, and longingly looking at a picture of him. When the director said, "Action!" Michelle suddenly got nervous. The cameras were rolling, and she was in the spotlight. She did perfectly. The scene only took three takes, and she fake cried beautifully every time. After a few more costume changes and about four hours more shooting, they were done. The footage was sent to a lab where it would be made into the actual video, and the video would be presented on TRL the following Friday, with the Backstreet Boys as the special guests.
