Chapter 54
"You ready to go?" Nick asked Toni when he stopped by to pick her up to go to his parent's house.
"Yeah, let's go."
"Do you have your swimsuit on?"
"Yes Nick. Why do I have to wear it if we're just going to have dinner with your parents?" Toni asked confused.
"Because I want to take you out on my boat before dinner."
"Cool beans," Toni said as she walked out the door. Not too long later they arrived at the Carter's place and they were greeted by Nick's mom again.
"Hey Mom, where's Dad at?" Nick asked after he gave his mom a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
"He's in the shower cleaning up. How are you doing Toni? You look nice by the way," Jane said.
"Thanks, I'm doing pretty good."
"Do I have time to take Toni out on my boat before supper?" Nick asked his mom.
"We'll be eating in about two hours so you can go out for a little while."
"Thanks Mom," Nick said grabbing his boat keys off the key rack.
"I know how you are Nick when you're out on your boat so don't lose track of time and get back here. Toni, please make sure Nick gets you two back here."
"I will Mrs. Carter, bye," Toni said as she walked out the back door with Nick. They walked out to the dock hand in hand. Nick got in the boat and then lifted Toni in beside him. "Where are we going?" Toni asked wrapping her arms around Nick as he started the boat and drove it out.
"To some islands. When we get there we'll be able to spend about an hour there and still make it back to the house in time." They were riding in silence for about minutes and were a pretty good distance away from shore when Toni decided she would give Nick a little scare. When he wasn't paying any attention to her she took off her clothes so that she was in her swim suit and went and sat on the edge of the boat. She waited a few seconds and then jumped in the water making sure to make a loud splash. Nick heard the splash and turned around and didn't see Toni. He stopped the boat and got up from where he was sitting and looked around for a second. "Toni?" he asked worriedly. He then spotted her shoes and clothes laying on the floor of the boat. "I'm going to kill her," Nick said as he took his shirt and pants off and jumped into the water. He looked around the water and then spotted her next to the boat and swam over to her.
"Scare ya?" Toni asked with a smile.
"Yes. For now on if you want to drown please let me do the honors," Nick said then shoved Toni's head under water.
"Nickolas Gene Carter!" Toni screamed when she resurfaced the water. "You have so had it!"
"What are you going to do?" Nick asked smiling.
"Absolutely nothing," Toni said as she wrapped her arms around Nick and began kissing him. "Ever made love in water?" Toni asked with a smile as she grabbed onto his swimming trunks.
"No," Nick said smiling as he pulled Toni closer to him. Toni went under the water and pulled his trunks off all the way and resurfaced with them still in her hand.
"Wait. Do you have a condom cause I could still get pregnant even if we are in water," Toni said when Nick went to pull off the bottoms to her swim suit.
"Uh, yeah, check the pockets in my jeans."
"Always come prepared Nicky?" Toni asked sarcastically.
"Hey, you never know." Toni got back into the boat and grabbed all of his clothes then jumped back into the water on the opposite side of the boat that Nick was in. She started swimming down deep into the water and then let go of his clothes letting them fall down to the ocean floor and then swam back up to the top and got back in the boat.
"What the hell did you do that for!" Nick yelled.
"What? Did you actually think that I would have sex with you after you tried to drown me?" Toni asked smiling.
"Yes!" Nick yelled.
"Guess again Nicky."
"All my clothes are probably getting eaten by a shark or something! What am I supposed to wear back home?"
"Hey, it's your own fault. You shouldn't have tried to drown me."
"You shouldn't have tried to scare the living shit out of me by acting like you fell out of the boat!" Nick yelled still in the water.
"Well you should have been talking to me that way I wouldn't have gotten bored and came up with the idea of scaring you!"
"You have a mouth! You could have talked to me first!"
"Oh well Nick. Looks like you're the one who lost out," Toni said as she dried herself off and put her clothes back on. "You know, you better get back in the boat and get us back to your parent's house before dinner."
"I would but I don't have any clothes!"
"So wrap a towel around your waist. Now let's go, we can't be late."
"Fine," Nick said climbing into the boat.
"Cute butt," Toni said smiling. Nick just glared at her while he wrapped the towel around his waist. They got back to the house and Nick tied the boat up.
"Go in the house and get me some clothes," Nick said.
"You have a towel on, get it yourself," Toni said as she started walking towards the house.
"I can't! My parents will see me and you can tell I don't have anything on under this towel."
"It's not my fault you're cold and horny. Bad combination. Bye Nicky," Toni said blowing him a kiss as she went into the house.
"Oh Toni, you guys are just in time. This is Nick's dad Bob, Bob this is Nick's new girlfriend," Jane said introducing the two.
"Nice to meet you," Toni said shaking his hand.
"Likewise. Where's Nick at?"
"Oh, he's outside tying the boat up. Do you need help setting the table?" Toni asked changing the subject.
"Yes, I would appreciate that. BJ will you go outside and tell your brother to hurry up and get in here?" Jane asked.
"Sure," BJ said going out the back door. Toni started laughing.
"Did I miss something?" Jane asked confused about why Toni was laughing.
"No, I was just thinking about something," Toni said as she went into the dining room to set the table.
"Nick, Mom said to get in the house right now," BJ said outside at the boat.
"I can't."
"Why not?"
"Because my clothes are at the bottom of the ocean floor," Nick said with a pissed off additude.
"So just come in the house in your shorts and get some clothes on."
"Let me rephrase that. All my clothes are at the bottom of the ocean floor."
"Oh......my......God," BJ said slowly. "I can't believe you. You went and had sex with your girlfriend and lost all your clothes in the process!" BJ screamed.
"Will you be quiet! I did not have sex with Toni."
"Then why don't you have any clothes? Oh I think I'm going to be sick. I never wanted to know that my older brother was having sex."
"BJ chill! It's a long and complicated story but I did not have sex. Now go get me some clothes."
"And what am I supposed to tell Mom when she asks what the clothes are for? I can't tell her that you decided to go skinny dipping with your girlfriend still in the boat and you lost your clothes in the water!"
"Just tell her that I got in the water with my clothes on and they are all wet and I didn't want to track wet clothes through the house. Just do it please and don't be going and telling Leslie that I'm having sex in the water either."
"Now why would I do that?"
"Because I know you now go!"
"Fine, you don't have to be so crabby," BJ said as she ran back inside the house.
"Where's Nick? I thought your mother said to go get him," Bob said.
"He's still outside. His clothes are wet so he wanted me to bring him some dry ones so he wouldn't get the floors wet," BJ said looking at Toni. Toni smiled and tried her hardest not to start laughing. BJ got the clothes and went and gave them to Nick then went back inside the house. Nick put them on quickly and ran into the house and sat down at the table across from Toni instead of next to her. Toni looked at him and smiled and he just sort of glared at her.
"How did you manage to meet such a sweet girl?" Bob asked Nick as the began eating.
"Why thank you for the compliment, Mr. Carter," Toni said sweetly.
"She's sweet?" Nick asked coldly.
"Nickolas!" Jane yelled. "That's not be very polite to your girlfriend!"
"Don't worry about it Mrs. Carter. Nick just had some problems out on the boat this evening and he's not in a very good mood," Toni said as she smiled at Nick.
"That's no excuse for him being rude to you."
"What's wrong with the boat?" Bob asked changing the subject.
"Nothing," was all that Nick said as he continued to eat.
"I don't think it was the boat that had problems. It might have just been the driver," BJ said getting into the conversation. Toni started to laugh about what happened.
"I don't find that funny," Nick said.
"Oh come on Nicky, you and I know that it was you that a few little problems out there," Toni said. Nick got up and went around the table and grabbed Toni's hand pulling her out of her chair.
"I want to talk to you," he said pulling her into another room.
"BJ did they get into a fight?" Jane asked after they left the room.
"I can't say," BJ said.
"What the hell are you trying to do?" Nick asked Toni.
"What are you talking about?"
"Why are you trying to humiliate me in front of my family?"
"You're the one who started it! Your father compliments me and you cut me down! You're humiliating yourself!"
"You were the one who sent my little sister outside knowing that I only had a towel to wear!"
"It was your mother who sent BJ out there not me! So stop jumping to a million conclusions and take a fucking chill pill!"
"You threw my clothes in the ocean then humiliated me in front of my family!"
"Oh stop putting the blame on me Nick. You seem to be able to pull pranks on people on the time and you think it's hilarious but when the tables turn you get all pissed off. You're a hypocrite Nick."
"When I pull pranks on people I don't make them lose all their clothes!"
"I will buy you some new damn clothes since that's all you care about! I'm out of here. Tell your mom that I said thanks for dinner."
"You don't even have a car. You can't go any where."
"That's what feet were invented for. Good-bye Nick," Toni said as she left the room and walked through the living room as everyone watched her walk out the door.
