Chapter 64
The next day Nick took Toni to the airport to catch a flight to Nashville, Tennessee. Toni was excited because she would be able to visit her mom as well as Kristen. "AJ's pissed at me isn't he?" Toni asked Nick at the gate. "Nick you knew if I could tell him I would but that is Kristen's job."
"Don't worry about AJ. He'll cool off by the time you get back. This is obviously some secret Kristen is holding," Nick said giving Toni a hug. "I'll see you in a few days."
"Bye Nick," Toni said giving Nick a quick kiss then boarded the plane. The whole way there she didn't know what she was going to tell Kristen. Kristen had told her to go to the venue that Britney would be performing at and she would meet her after the show. She had taken a late flight so when she got there it was about nine o'clock. She figured the concert would be ending soon. She got her bags and called a cab with Nick's cell phone that he gave her to contact him and AJ with. About an hour later she arrived at the venue right when the concert got out. She went around back where the buses were when she was stopped by a security guard who wouldn't let her through.
"I'm sorry Miss but only authorized personel are allowed through these gates," the guard said.
"I'm aware of this byt my best friend is a back up dancer for Britney Spears. I flew in from Florida to come see her and I need to get through," Toni said trying to shove her way past him. He just bloacked her way again.
"I've heard that story a million times before by teenagers except they are best friends with Miss. Spears. I can't let you through."
"Yeah well I am telling you the truth!"
"And so was everyone else. Everyone wants a chance to meet the original Britney Spears."
"You actually think I want to meet that hoe bag! You have to be losing your mind or something! Listen, I can give you the cell phone number of her back up dancer who happens to be my best friend and she will tell you to let me through."
"I already told you before I can't..."
"Why do you security people have to be such piss heads! Just take my phone and dial the damn number! It's the least you can fucking do! If I have to, I'll pay you! But I need to get through these gates!" The security guy looked at Toni for a second then took the phone from her that she was holding in front of him and dialed the number she gave him. After a couple minutes of him talking to Kristen he handed Toni back her phone.
"I'll lead you to the buses. But if Miss. Spears says you have to leave I will have to escort you out," he said leading the way.
"I think it's so cute how the big bad security guy takes his orders from an eighteen year old little..."
"And if you don't watch what you say about Miss. Spears I will escort you out before you even meet with your friend," he said interrupting and glaring at her. Toni shut her mouth up. They reached the buses and he talked to Britney and she agreed that Toni could go on the bus. He left and Toni flipped him off behind his back. Britney saw and looked at her questioningly.
"Sorry, I just have a natural impulse in that finger," Toni said sarcastically when she was about to get on the bus.
"She not on there. Her and TJ went to go get something to drink," Britney said.
"She went with TJ?" Toni asked surprised.
"Yeah, them two spend an awful lot of time together. TJ practically ignores me now."
"Well, maybe TJ got smart," Toni said with a smile. Britney glared at her before she continued talking.
"I think Kristen may be cheating on whoever her boyfriend is with him," she said.
"And I think you should mind your own business," Toni said walking away. "God, I hate her," she said under her breath. She walked a little ways then saw two people walking together towards the buses. Toni immediately recognized who they were. "Kristen!" she yelled. Kristen stopped and turned around to see who was yelling at her. When she saw it was Toni she took off running. "How you doing?" Toni asked as Kristen gave her a hug.
"Bad, how else would I be doing?" Kristen asked pulling away.
"Okay, no reason to get an attitude with me now. Where aer you guys head to now?"
"A hotel. We have one day off so we were going to stay the night here in Nashville then head to where ever tomorrow night. Why do you ask?"
"Because me and Britney are already on each other's bad sides so me and you are going to Clarksville tonight to stay with my parents. We can talk there and if you need to you can talk to my mom."
"I'm not talking to anyone but you about this."
"Kristen come on. I don't know a thing about being pregnant and neither do you."
"No, you and TJ are the only ones who know and I would like to keep it that way."
"You told TJ?"
"He's the one who took me to the doctor this morning after finding me puking in the bathroom on the bus."
"You know what, we'll talk about this whole thing and what you're going to do later. Let's go." Kristen and Toni went and cleared it with everyone else that they were going to stay the night in Clarksville and Kristen promised she would be back by the time the buses left the next day. Toni called a cab which arrived ten minutes later. She then called her mom to let her know that they were going to stay the night there and her mom was happy about it. They arrived at her parent's house close to midnight and her mom greeted them at the door giving them both a hug.
"How are you doing Kristen? I haven't seen you in a few years," her mom said.
"I'm doing great," Kristen lied with a smile. Toni looked at her weird and her mom noticed.
"Something wrong?" she asked Toni.
"Yeah but me and Kristen need to talk. You up for talking tomorrow morning?" Her mom nodded her head then both of them headed into Toni's old room while her mom went to bed.
"Toni I'm too tired to talk about this right now. Can't we just talk tomorrow instead of talking with your mom about it?" Kristen asked sitting down on Toni's bed.
"No. And if you're not going to talk to my mom about it then you are going to call your mom."
"Forget it. I'm not talking to her."
"Okay, you haven't spoken with either of your parents since you left Wyoming. I want to know why because ever since you got back nothing has made any sense. Now are you going to tell me?" Toni demanded.
"I guess I don't have a choice do I?"
"No, you don't so start talking."
"Fine," Kristen said as she told TOni the story about everything that happened. Toni sat there listening to her whole story and was surprised that Kristen actually had sex in her parent's bed and unfortunately got caught. After the whole story Toni realized why Kristen hadn't been speaking with her parents and why she refuse to talk with her mom about her being pregnant. "You're not going to yell at are you?" Kristen asked when she finished the story.
"No," Toni said after about a minute of thinking. "At least everything makes sense now. Now when are you going to tell AJ about you being pregnant with his child?"
"I'm not," Kristen said simply.
"You don't have a choice. You have to tell him. He would want to know if the girl he love was caring his child you know. And besides, he's obviously going to find out sooner or later when you start showing."
"That's why I decided that I'm breaking up with him," Kristen said as a tear fell down her cheek. Toni sat there shocked for a second before she said anything.
"Okay, I know I didn't hear you right. Did you just say you are going to break up with him?" Toni asked repeating what Kristen said. Kristen nodded her head as she wiped her eyes. "Are you crazy! You can't do that!" Toni said getting up and yelling at her.
"Yes I can Toni and I will. It will be better for both of us."
"That is bull shit Kristen! It's not going to be better for AJ when he finds out that you dumped him because you were going to have his child. We can both already tell that it's not going to be better for you because you are sitting her crying just thinking about it! Then what about the baby! You think it will be better for him or her or whatever it is to not have a father around!"
"It wouldn't have a father around anyways! AJ isn't going to want to put up with a crying baby! He would dump me anyways when he would find out I was pregnant then go find another girl to screw hoping he won't get her pregnant too because then he will really be in deep shit!"
"Oh my Gon will you just listen to yourself! AJ is your boyfriend who loves you very much! All that crap you just said is nothing but bull shit! You know him a lot better than that! You are making me so damn frustrated! You know what, I'm going to bed. You need to actually think about what the hell you are saying. I'll talk to you tomorrow," Toni said walking out slamming the door behind her to go to the guest room to sleep. Kristen laid down on Toni's bed and pulled the blanket over her as she cried herself to sleep.
