~1 month later~
It was finally the day for the guys to come home from being on tour for three months. Toni was ecstatic because she was going to see Nick. While he was gone she had gotten on birth control so she was hoping to have a little fun with him that night when he came over to see her. Kristen wasn't looking forward to AJ coming back. She had started to look at some apartments she could afford since she didn't want to live with Howie and especially not AJ when the baby was born. Kristen had finished getting ready to go the the doctor and she picked up the phone and dialed TJ's number. "Hello?" TJ asked.
"Hey, TJ. I was wondering if you wanted to come to the doctor with me. I hate going alone," Kristen said.
"Is today the day you find out if you're going to have a boy or a girl?"
"Yeah."
"I'd love to. What time are you leaving?"
"Actually I'm leaving right now. If you're ready I can come over and pick you up right now."
"Yeah, that's fine."
"Alright, see you in a few," Kristen said hanging up the phone and grabbing her car keys. She got in her car and a few minutes later she arrived at TJ's and he hopped in the passenger seat.
"You excited about finding out what it is?" he asked her.
"Yes, actually I am."
"So, I see you decided to move on into AJ's wardrobe," TJ said mentioning the shirt of AJ's Kristen was wearing.
"How do you know it's AJ's?"
"I've seen him wear that shirt before. I thought you hated him. Why would you be wearing his clothes."
"Because I own a total of about two t-shirts which are dirty and all my other shirts are tight around my stomach therefore making me look fat. I don't want to go buy new clothes so I'm wearing his."
"And what about when he comes home tonight? You still going to wear his clothes?"
"Listen, he is the one who got me pregnant so the least he could do is allow me to wear his clothes."
"Well the least he wants to do is be a part of you and that baby," TJ said. Kristen gave him a weird look and then turned her attention back to the road and arrived at the hospital about fifteen minutes later. They met with the doctor and she led the two of them into a room where Kristen laid on the bed and lifted her shirt up while the doctor put gel all over her stomach.
"I hate this stuff. It's cold," Kristen said as the doctor took the probe and glided around her stomach.
"Oh you poor baby," TJ said sarcastically and Kristen hit him in the arm.
"Well, Miss Bonnell. I do believe in four months you will be giving birth to what looks like a healthy baby boy," the doctor said as she began wiping all the gel off Kristen's stomach with a towel.
"Really?" Kristen asked as her eyes lit up and a smile formed on her face.
"Yes, really."
"That is great!" Kristen said jumping off the bed and hugging TJ. Kristen made her next appointment with the doctor then her and TJ left.
"Do you mind driving?" Kristen asked as she held out her keys.
"No prob," TJ said taking the keys as they both got in the car. The drive back to TJ's place Kristen remained silent just stared out of the window. "So, what are you going to name him?" he asked breaking the silence.
"Alex, I want to name him Alex," Kristen said turning and facing TJ. TJ looked at her and saw that tears began coming out of her eyes so he pulled over to the side of the road.
"You're naming him after AJ?" TJ asked confused. Kristen nodded her head as she started crying hard. TJ took off his seat belt and put his arms around Kristen while she cried into his shoulder. "You're supposed to be happy aren't you? So what's wrong?"
"It finally hit me TJ," Kristen said pulling away from him.
"What did?"
"Toni and AJ."
"What about them?" TJ asked still confused.
"Toni is my twin," Kristen said wiping her eyes before she continued. "She is just trying to help me and I destroy our friendship because of me being selfish."
"Well, I'm glad that you realize that she was trying to help you but I wouldn't consider you being selfish."
"Yes, I was being selfish. It's the same way with AJ. I love him with all my heart and soul," Kristen said as more and more tears fell from her eyes and down her cheeks. "I want him in my life,"she said as TJ wrapped his arms around her again.
"I think you finding out the sex of this baby is bringing you back into the real world. Listen, when you get home I think you should call AJ."
"Like he's going to want anything to do with me now."
"He's going to want everything to do with you," TJ said with a smile. He pulled back out onto the road and finished driving to his house. "Good luck talking to him," he said as he got out of the car and Kristen got in the driver's seat. Kristen got to her house and picked up the phone and slowly and nervously she dialed AJ's cell phone number. She let it ring about twenty times before she hung up the phone upset that she finally got the courage to talk to him and he didn't answer his phone. She picked up the phone again and dialed Howie's cell phone number.
"Hello?" Howie asked answering on the second ring.
"Howie, is AJ around I need to talk to him."
"Is this Kristen?" Howie asked sarcastically since he was surprised that she wanted to talk with AJ.
"Yes, please is he around. It's important that I talk to him."
"I think he's in his bunk sleeping. Something wrong?" Howie asked worriedly.
"Yeah, I came to the conclusion that I love him and want him back."
"Oh, wow, that is important. Glad you came to your senses though. You want me to wake him up for you?"
"No don't. When are you guys going to be back in town?"
"We should be in Orlando within the next three hours or so."
"That's fine. I'll just talk to him when he gets here."
"Alright but I have a question for you."
"What's that?"
"What made you decide that you still loved AJ?"
"I found out today that I was going to have a boy and when TJ asked what I was going to name him the first thing that came to my mind was Alex.
"Oh God, an AJ jr. That's all we need in this world," Howie said sarcastically.
"Not funny. I guess I'll talk to you in a few hours then."
"Alright, see you soon."
"Bye," Kristen said hanging up the phone. She looked at the clock and it said that it was five-thirty so she decided she would take a nap before AJ got home. She went into AJ's room and quickly fell asleep in his bed once again. When Kristen opened her eyes again it was pitch black in the room. She looked at the clock and saw that it was eight o'clock. She felt all sweaty and sticky after taking a nap so she went in the bathroom and took a quick shower. When she got out she put on her tear-a-way pants and another t-shirt of AJ's. She brushed out her hair leaving it down and put her foundation on since she wasn't in the mood to put all her make-up on again. When she was done she had only waisted about fifteen minutes. She was getting impatient for AJ to get there even though she was nervous so she picked up the phone and dialed Toni's number.
"Hello?" Toni answered.
"Hey, Toni."
"Kristen?" Toni asked surprised.
"Yeah. Um...do you mind if I come over for a little bit so we can talk?"
"No, not at all."
"Alright I'll be there in a few."
"Okay, bye," Toni said hanging up the phone. As soon as she hung up the phone there was a knock on the door and Toni ran to answer it excitedly since she expected Nick to be on the other side. "Um...hi," Toni said answering the door to see a man she didn't know on the other side. She stared at him for a second trying to figure out who he was since she knew she had seen him somewhere before.
"Is Kristen living here again?" he asked.
"Um no. She hasn't lived here for a couple of months. Why?" Toni asked confused.
"Because she's not living at Howie's place any more. Now where the hell is she?" the guy demanded.
"I don't understand why that would be any of your concern," Toni said with an attitude.
"Where the fuck is she!" the guy yelled shoving Toni back making her all on the ground.
"What the hell is your problem!" Toni yelled back as the guy entered her apartment and slammed the door behing him.
"I have some business to deal with her, now where is she?"
"I am not about to tell you where she's staying."
"Yes you will or I'll be the shit out of you until you do tell me. Now are you going to cooperate and tell me?" he asked and Toni shook her head no. As soon as she shook her head he punched her in the jaw knocking her over.
"You fucking shit head!" Toni yelled at him. The guy went to hit Toni again when she jumped up and punched him in the stomach and kneed him in the crotch. "Why not mess with someone who won't fight back?"
"Big mistake," he said with his breathing a little slow as he held his crotch from the pain. He took a knife out of his the pocket inside his jacket and stabbed Toni in the side causing her to scream. Kristen was walking up the stairs to the apartment when she heard a scream and immediately recognized it as Toni. She took off running towards the apartment since she knew something was up since she didn't see Nick's car out front so he couldn't be the one causing her to scream. Kristen reached the door and opened it going inside the apartment. She saw Toni laying in the corner holding her side and ran up to her.
"Oh my God Toni, you're bleeding," Kristen said placing her hand on the stab wound as she applyed pressure on her.
"I'm fine, now get out and call the police," Toni said quietly. Kristen heard footsteps behind her and turned around to face the guy who stabbed Toni.
"Oh my God, it's you," she said shocked.
