Chapter 15
Christmas Day
The next morning Toni and Nick were awoke by Aaron and Angel.
"TONI NICK PRESENTS LETS GO!!!!!" They screamed
"We're a comin" Nick said sitting up. Toni laid there looking at the ceiling as the kids ran out
"Is your grandma here?" Toni asked
"No, she wont be here till tonight"
"Shit" Toni said rolling out of the bed.
"Why?" He asked
"Your mom hates me, and I dont wanna die today, maybe after the baby is born" Toni said as Nick got up
"Forget my mom, she will come around" Nick said pressing her lips on hers.
"I love you Nick" She said
"I love you too baby" He said taking her hand and walking out to the living room. The kids had already put everyones presents in places for each person. Toni and Nick sat by the fireplace opening the presents they had gotten. They both got really nice things.
"Toni can I see you in the kichten please?" Jane asked standing up. Toni looked up from her new game boy that BJ got her.
"Sure" Toni said handing Nick the game boy and walking to the kichten.
"Ok I know we did not start of in good terms, cause of me, but I got the wrong impression of you, my baby means alot to me, and seeing him with a pregant girl, that was not even his baby but now is, scared me, but now I am willing to get to know you, and be there for you if I like ya, this is my present to you" Jane said handing her a nicely wrapped box. Toni untied the bow and open the box. There was a bunch of baby clothes, toys, and a shirt that said 'My mommy and daddy love me' and it had a picture of Nick and Toni by the tree the night before.
"These are Nick's baby clothes, and one of his favorite toys, his pet shark. Then there are other little toys I picked out for you" Jane said
"I love the shirt" Toni said holding the shirt.
"I made that last night" Jane said
"It is sooo cute, thank you so much" Toni said hugging her. Right then Toni knew everything was going to be fine between herself and Jane.
I am sooo happy Mrs. Carter likes Toni cause that would of been f*cked up if she didnt. Toni cracked me up! She is sooo stupid! Anyways, Nick and Toni flew back to Flordia the next day.
"Gotta go to the baby's room" Toni said running into the house and going into the baby's room. She open the door and looked in it, it was just like she wanted it.
"Its beaitful" Toni said looking around. Nick came in the room and watched her look around.
"I love this stuff" Toni said playing with the little toy.
"Seven more months and then there will be a baby to sleep in the bed" Toni said
"Seven mroe months and we will be the happeniess people in the world" Nick said putting her arms around her.
"We will, wont we" She said kissing his lips softly.
"I love you Carter" She said
"I love you too Ortiz" He said putting his forehead on hers and looking into her eyes. She smiled and kissed him.
New Years came, the premire of Show me the meaning showed! YEAH great video! Anyways, Nick and AJ birthday past, Nick turned the big 20, and Aj got drunk since it was his 21st birthday. It was Feburary 5, Toni and Nick had just gotten to the Hostipal for Toni's check up.
"Nick I am scared what if she saids I lost the baby or something?" Toni asked waiting with Nick in the waiting room of the hositpal.
"You are weird" Nick said looking at a magizine that had him and Toni on the cover.
"No Nick really, what if I do?"
"Babe! You have had all the symtoms that the book told you, you would have right?"
"Yeah"
"Ok then! Look at this, it is a pic of us geting out the car" Nick said showing her a picture of them
"Cool beanies" Toni said smiling and kissing him.
"Maybe we should get pictures tooken together" Nick said "Like Jessica Simpson and Nick Lacey do" He added
"Well if you want I have no problems, I would love to, and maybe do a article" Toni said
"I will talk to one of the guys from the firm about it" Nick said
"Toni Ortiz?" The nurse said, Toni flew up.
"Doctor Miller will see you now" The nurse said
"Alright" Toni said pulling Nick with her. They sat in the doctors office waiting for the doctor. Toni sat on the little bed as Nick sat in a chair.
"Hello Toni" The doctor said coming in the room.
"Hello" Toni said looking up at her.
"Ok listen heres the deal, You are from that group Charisma and the first doctor you went to lost your record. So I need to know how much you weigh before you got pregant?" She said
"I remember her saying something liek 120 or 121 or 122? Somewhere around there" Toni said
"OK well, I guess we will pcik 120, you know the lowest" She said smiling. Toni smiled
"My name is Doctor Miller, you can Jane and I will be your doctor. Um I wanna weigh you first, then I wanna give you a ultra sound make sure the baby is ok, put you on some drugs, and then we will set a new date ok" Jane said
"Ok great" Toni said
"Alright why dont you step on here" Jane said
"Alright" Toni said standing on the weigher thingy.
"125, you have gained 5 pounds good, How many months are you? You can step down now" Jane said. Toni did as she asked and got back onto the bed.
"I am almost four" Toni said
"Ok why dont you lift your shirt, and relax" Toni laid down and lifted her shirt.
"You do know I might be able to tell you what the baby is right?" She said
"No! You can! Cool beanies!!!" Toni said getting all happy.
"Now dont get to happy cause I am not sure, you said you are almost so I dont know babes" She said smiling as she set up the UltraSound Machine. Nick sat in his chair not knwoing if he should stand or just sit there.
"Nick come here" Toni said, he smiled and stood beside her as the doctor put some gulie on her tummy.
"Its cold" Toni said smiling. Nick smiled and held her hand tighter. The doctor put the little probe on her tummy, and moved it around. A picture came onto the screen. Toni felt tears come to her eyes as she looked at her little baby.
"Ok babe, this is the head, and these are the legs, and arms, butt, and I do not see a penis" She said running the probe all over Toni's belly.
"Does this mean I am having a girl?" Toni said squezzing Nick's hand.
"I am pretty sure it does" She said. Toni let the tears fall.
"I am having a baby girl!" Toni screamd wrapping her arms around Nick and kissing him. Nick held her tight as the doctor smiled. The doctor filled out a bunch of forms and stuff while Toni cried into Nick's chest.
"Ok babe, Your baby is due July 19, and here is some more prenial pills, and I wanna set the next date for March 19 ok?" She said
"Thats my best friends Birthday, and I will be on tour, I am leaving tomarrow"
"Well Toni you need to come"
"She will be here, I think she can get up here and back when ever you need her" Nick said
"Great! Ok here is a picture of the baby on the ultra sound so you can show it off to your friends, and see you in March, if you have any problems call me" Docotor Miller said handing her a card. Toni looked at the little picture of her baby.
"Thank you!" Toni said pulling Nick out of the doctors office, she jumped into the car and Nick got in.
"Drive to Kristen's! hurry!" Toni screamed, as Nick pulled out of the drive way. They got to Kristen's houw ten mintues later. Toni took off for the house, she went in and saw something she did not want to see. Kristen flew off Howie and wrapped a towel around her self.
"What the hell?" Toni scream
"Shouldnt we be saying that?" Howie said
"NO!" Toni screamed grabing Kristen and pulling her to the back.
"Kristen! You are sopposed to be saving your self for your husband Not your boyfriend!" Toni said
"Toni! I love Howie, we have been screwing since Christimas"
"Oh mi god! I thought you were going to wait! What if you get pregant?"
"I wont, I use protection"
"Kristen"
"Toni"
"I cant make you stop"
"I know you cant, I love Howie, and I know he will always be here for me"
"I hope you are right" Toni said looking down at her hand.
"OHHH LOOK AT MY BABY GURL!" Toni screamed giving Kristen the picture.
"Its a girl!"
"Yeah!" Toni said as Kristen wrapped her arms around Toni and hug her tightly.
"Cool Beanies!"
"I know, look at her little head, and feet! I wanna hold her!" Toni said
"I do too! oh mi it is soo cute!"
"I cant wait to be a mommy Kristen"
"I know you cant, I cant wait to be a anutie!" Kristen said wrapping her arms around Toni again. They walked out to the living room where Howie and Nick were.
"Look at my baby girl Howie" Toni said giving her the picture.
"Its a girl?" He asked with a smile
"Yup!" He smiled big and wrapped his arms around her.
"Congrats!" He said looking at the picture.
"Shes cute I guess?" He said
"What are you going to name her?" Kristen asked
"I dont know yet"
"Remember Kristen is a great name, I got it" Kristen said
"Yeah and ruin it! Anyways, I gotta go home and look through a bunch of book" Toni said as Kristen made a really mean look at her.
"Ok then Bye BYe" Howie said hugging her. She hug Toni and her and Nick walked out.
"Now where were we?" Howie asked putting his arms around Kristen
"I think we were right here" She said pushing him to the floor and getting on top of him.
