John Robinson built a white domed, Moorish-Romanesque mausoleum costing $35,000 in 1874. The top of the dome has the Angel Gabriel ready to blow this horn to herald Resurrection.
For generations from 1824 to 1916 the family owned Robinson's Circus until selling it to the American Circus Corporation, which then merged with Ringling Brothers.
