Also known as Dan Ayido Hwedo.

Shrines to Danh, in Dahomey, have wavy lines on their outer walls. followers of the god dance with snakes around their necks.

Dan Ayido Hwedo was believed to encircle the world and was known as the rainbow snake. He is often shown with his tail in his mouth, a universal symbol of wholeness and unity.
