Angus of the Brugh

Angus dreamed of a beautiful girl and fell in love with her. He searched the land for her and became ill, pining away. Finally he saw the girl at Loch Bel Dracon. Her name was Caer-Ibor-meith (Caer Yewberry) and she was a shape shifter, chained with a silver chain to her 100 maiden companions.

At the new year (1st November) Caer changed into a swan and Angus did the same, they flew three times around the lake, weaving a spell which sent everybody to sleep for three days. They used this time to fly to Angus' palace in the Otherworld.
