Lug
Also named Lugh, Lleu, Lleu Llaw Gyffes (bright one of the skillful hand), Samildanach (many skilled) and Find (fair haired one).
Lug arrived at the court of The Dagda and demanded admittance to the company of the gods. He was asked what he could do. He started to spaek of all he could do but the doorkeeper said that they already had experts on those things among the gods. Lug replied that they didn't have anybody who was good at everything. He was admitted and led the gods to victory against the Formorians.
Lug gave his name to many places including, Lyons, Loudun, Laon, Leiden, Leignitz, Carlisle and Vienna (Fair). His feast is Lughnasadh. the Romans rededicated the feast to Augustus later and it was heald on the 1st of August. The Celts held games in Lug's honour a fortnight before and a fortnight after the feast.
