Midir

There are two suggested abodes for Medir, the sidh (burial mound) of Bri Leith in Co Longford, and the Isle of Man. Ont he Isle of Man, his castle is protected by three cranes, whose call frightened away travellers who ambled too close.

Midir was fostered by Manannnan Mac Lir and he in turn fostered Angus of the Brugh.
