Tuatha De Danann

'Tribes of the goddess Danu' or 'children of the goddess Danu'

The Tuatha De Danann arrived in Ireland which was already occupied by the Fir Bolg. The Tuatha De Danann fought them and won at the first battle of Moytura.

In the second battle of Moytura the Tuatha De Danann fought the Formorians under the leadership of Lug. They conquered the Formorians (the remnents of the old gods) and became the rulers of Ireland (they were worshipped over the other former gods)
