Neith

Neith has been associated with the goddesses Athene and Isis and was believed to offer refreshment of bread and water to transient souls.

Neith arbitrated in the hearing of Set and Horus in their conflict over the murder of Osiris.

She told the gods that they should give Horus his rightful inheritance and also to give Set compensation equal to his own possessions. He was also given Astarte and Anta as his wives. Both of these goddesses were of foreign origin as no local goddesses would have agreed to ally themselves to the murderer of the great god Osiris.
