Thoth

Thoth's parentage is unknown. He helped to revive the dismembered Osiris and defended Horus and cured his of a scorpion sting.

Thoth adjudicated in the dispute between Horus and Set and healed the wounds that they had inflicted upon each other.

He invented the arts and sciences and then became the overseer of the moon.

He measured time (the first month of the yearwas named after him) and he was in charge of all the calculations, archives, inventories of treasure and loot. He was historian, scribe, herald and divine judge.

Known as Hermes by the Greeks who knew him as the originator of the Four Laws of Magic.
