Andrew Jackson Knight
Was born about 1833
in Butler County , Kentucky.
And died in Illinois about 1867/68

He is the sixth son of:
Radney Knight and Mary "Polly" Simmons.

In 1840 A.J. name is not here on this part of.
the Butler Co.Census.At this time though he.
is 7 about years old. Radney Knight his father.
is listed as Rodney, a typo ? , I think so.

His father Radney Knight is deceased.

By 1860 A.J is in Franlin Co. IL. ,.
married and has 3 children..
He married : June 4th, 1855 Butler County, KY.
Elizabeth Forgy.
Daughter of :
Joseph Leslie Forgy"Joe" and Nonnie P.Kimmel.
This is by Butler County, marriage records.
By 1860 Franklin Co. IL. census , he and Elizabeth.
have Three children.Two of the children being born.
in ILL..
I did not find any birth records for them in Butler Co.KY.
Although on the census it says W.Ellis"Wallace" was born.
in KY.

In this will he includes his wife and he has named his.
six children. His brother William Griffith Knight is.
his Executor of his will.

and his widow Elizabeth Forgy Knight.
