Some early Baugh , Logan County,
Kentucky Marriages are now here.
Up-Date:
I will placing a up-date here on this page shortly,
as the facts below seems to be both right and also
wrong.It seems
to be that my John and his Elizabeth
are not mine, but Samuel and his Elizabeth will be
instead.You see
they were brothers who both married
a Elizabeth. And both had a daughter named Mary and
both the daughters were called , what else but "Polly"

Baugh in Logan County, Kentucky
Baugh's came to Logan Co. about 1816-17.
John Baugh was originally from Virginia -m-
Elizabeth who was supposedly a Cherokee
Indian from Tenn. They met in South Carolina
and they married there.
Where they settled at became know as 'Baugh Station'..
which was on U.S.421 in Lewisburg, Ky. 'Baugh Station
was once as a thriving business in 1880 and 1898.
There was a Blacksmith, a stop for passenger trains,
Post Office, tie yard, and a grocery store, dry goods all
combined in the same building
It was run by John's and Elizabeth's youngest son,
George Nelson Baugh. George Baugh married
Margaret Virginia Brooker in 1813
Her family was from Tenn. She was 13 year`s old
...they had 14 children.
Some of the these children belong to
Samuel and his Elizabeth
I am leaving this here so all can see
who belongs to who as I
put it togethere with help from my Baugh cousins.
Who I wish to Thank and let them know all
their help is appericated.
John and Elizabeth's children:

Flat Iron's . You would set one on a wood or coal stove
Heat them
up one at a time, press you clothes
, put it back so it would warm
up one more time,
and use the other one, It was always best to
have
at leaste 2 flat irons.
