Hello once again,
We are from the great state of Kentucky, our roots are dug deep here,
and no matter where we wonder, we all seem to come back home,
from time to time for visits or to stay.
Here we have another son for David Kincade and Sarah "Sally" McWhirter Kincade.
This is the 6th son and the 8th child.
I bet they had a wondeful time in the sumner months. All those sons to go fishing with,
play games such as baseball. Can't you visualize all those boys in a field of grass some
where playing baseball.
David is from a family of 9 children and of those children there are 7 sons.
David Blackburn Kincade was born In1843.
In what I believe is/was Wilson County, Tennessee.
David died March 18, 1881 in Kentucky.
David married October 11, 1870 Sumner County, Tennessee.
To Martha Catherine ”Mattie” Kimble,
who was born Decemeber 27, 1855 in Barren County, Kentucky
Mattie died in Logan County, Kentucky on July 6 1940.
Wilson County was formed in 1799 from portions of Sumner County.

Mary Frances Kinkade Johnson, 84,
of Auburn died at 9:46 p.m. Oct. 7, 2003, at Greenview Regional Hospital.
The Logan County native was a homemaker and member of Cave Springs Baptist Church.
She was a daughter of the late James William Kinkade and Carrie Hayes Kinkade
and the wife of the late King Johnson.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Young Funeral Home
,
with burial in Cave Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will begin after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Maryland Tinsley of Auburn;
a son, William V. Johnson of Auburn;
a sister, Dorothy Watkins of Auburn;
five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren;
and several nieces and nephews.

Verden King Johnson, 87,
of Auburn died Sept. 7, 2003, at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville.
The Logan County native was a retired farmer and member of Cave Springs Baptist Church.
He was a son of the late Verden King Johnson Sr. and Lillie Mayes Johnson.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Young Funeral Home,
with burial in Cave Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and will begin after 8 a.m.
Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Frances Kinkade Johnson;
a daughter, Maryland Johnson Tinsley of Auburn;
a son, William V. Johnson of Rockfield;
five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

AUBURN
Herman B. Kinkade, 87, of Auburn died at 12:15 p.m. March 3, 2002, at an Auburn nursing home.
The Warren County native was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church.
He was a son of the late Carrie Hayes Kinkade and James Kinkade and husband of the late Rosetta Kinkade.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Young Funeral Home with burial in Felts Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include a son, Wayne Kinkade of Bowling Green;
two daughters, Ann Hudson and Connie Graves, both of Auburn;
two sisters, Dorothy Watkins and Mary Johnson, both of Auburn;
seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Mattie K. Kinser
Mattie Katherine Kinser, 98, of Bowling Green died
at 3:50 p.m. May 1, 2001, at The Medical Center.
The Logan County native was a Union Underwear and Dixie Cream Doughnuts employee
and a Sunday school teacher at Barren River Baptist Church.
She was a daughter of the late Sallie Katherine Kinkade and J.R. Hudson.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Barren River Baptist Church,
where she was a member, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Thursday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel,
and will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the church.
Survivors include a sister, Lena Scott of Bowling Green;
a brother, Ray Hudson of Bowling Green; a niece; and a nephew.
Thelma K. Cropper
Thelma Kinkade Cropper, 88, of Bowling Green
died April 3, 2000, at a Bowling Green nursing home
.
The Warren County native was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She was a daughter of the late James Kinkade and Carrie Hayes Kinkade
and wife of the late Frank Cropper.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bailey-Turner-Winkenhofer Funeral Home
with burial in Bucksville Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Euvie Cassetty of Bowling Green;
two sisters, Mary Johnson and Dorothy Watkins,
both of Auburn; a brother, Herman Kinkade of Auburn;
two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren;four great-great-grandchildren;
and several nieces and nephews.
