These are photos taken in 1948 on the first day of broadcasting at WMIK. The man at the extreme left in both photographs is John Hutten.

Above is a photograph on opening day of the Time Capsule and WMIK Monument to be opened in 2048. The man on the extreme left is Hal Bigger.

Above are two photos taken from the air of both WCPM and WMIK transmitting towers. These are probably the only pictures that exist of both towers. The tower behind the WMIK studios on North 19th Street was taken down after WCPM was bought out in 1950.
