**As Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada fills to it’s capacity with over 30,000 people on hand, “King Nothing” by Metallica blares on the PA System as pyros shoot up into the sky all over the arena and King of the Deathmatches 2004 gets underway.**
JS: “Hello everyone and welcome to extreme HARDCORE wrestling’s King of the Deathmatches Two Thousand Four!! I’m Joey Styles alongside Bobby ‘the Brain’ Heenan and tonight we are going to bring you a short but action packed card of the best wrestling seen anywhere in the world today. We have a little bit of everything for you tonight with a whole lot of intensity with three eHw titles being decided. The Intercontinental title will be defended in a Submission Match, the World title will be defended in the Chamber of Horrors, and the Deathmatch title makes it’s return in the final round of the King of the Deathmatches Tournament in the first ever eHw Hardcore Hell match.”
BH: “Joey this card is going to have such violent action that I took out some more life insurance for myself. I saw a match that has the same stipulations that the tournament finals match is going to have tonight. It was from Japan, it took place ten years ago, and it is something that has given me more nightmares than your wife’s cooking.”
JS: “The Hardcore Hell match will feature two sides of the ring with no ropes of any kind and just outside the ring will be explosion boards covered with barbed wire, broken glass, and nails that stretch the entire length of those sides of the ring. The other two sides of the ring won’t have ring ropes, but will have electrified barbed wire ropes in their place.”
BH: “Don’t forget to tell the humanoids that the ring will be laced with C Four explosives and will blow the ring up at a certain point in the match. That is why we are at an outdoor venue. All of that smoke will need to go somewhere, because believe me, there will be a lot of it.”
JS: “Tonight also begins the Road to Cyberslam. Cyberslam is eHw’s premiere pay per view event that takes place in the month of June. The winner of the match between Al Snow and Mike Awesome in the King of the Deathmatch finals won’t only win the Deathmatch Title and the King of the Deathmatch trophy, but will win a guaranteed spot in the main event of Cyberslam.”
BH: “Guaranteed is the key word in there Joey. Which means they can’t lose it. It is set up that the spot in the main event can not be lost under any circumstance and can not be put on the line as a stipulation. So the winner will one hundred percent for sure get a shot at the eHw World Heavyweight Title in the main event of eHw’s biggest event of the year.”
JS: “Tonight we’ll debut the Cyberslam Countdown as we count down to the biggest pay per view in eHw history on Sunday night June Twenty Seventh. We will be counting down the top five matches in Cyberslam history, and we’ll have the Number Five match coming up later tonight. But right now we are going to go to the ring for our first match which is an Ultimate Jeopardy Tag Match for the number one contendership for the Intercontinental title.”
**The entryway is light up by bright white lights as “Evilution” by Motorhead plays and Randy Orton, Batista, and Ric Flair walk through the curtain and stand at the head of the entryway. The three men stand up their and pose for the cameras receiving nothing but boos from the fans. The three men slowly make their way down to the ring with Orton and Flair trash talking the fans the entire way. All three enter the rind and Orton and Batista each walk to the turnbuckles on the near side of the ring and stand on the middle turnbuckle posing for the cameras again while Flair stands in the middle.**
**The lights in the arena slightly darken as “Come Out and Play” by The Offspring is heard and AJ Styles and Raven make their way to the ring. Styles poses at the top of the entryway, then jogs down to the ring in a cocky manner. Raven walks to the ring with a look of determination on his face. He gets to ringside, walks up the ring steps, climbs up to the middle turnbuckle on the outside of the near left corner of the ring, and makes a crucifix with his arms facing the fans. Raven and Styles each get into the ring and take off their entrance attire as the lights return to normal illumination and the match begins.**
Raven and Orton start things off in the ring. Raven and Orton lock up and Raven quickly puts him into a side headlock. Orton pulls back on Raven’s hair and pulls him to the ropes. Orton whips Raven off the ropes, Raven bounces off, and knocks Orton down with a shoulder tackle. Orton gets up as Raven runs off the ropes and shoulder tackles him again. Raven runs off the ropes to go and do it again but Batista pulls down on the top rope and Raven goes over the top rope and crashing to the arena floor. Ric Flair immediately makes his way over towards Raven and picks him up off the floor. Flair gets Raven up and whips him head first into the steel ring steps which brings AJ Styles into the ring. Styles spins Orton around, kicks him in the stomach, picks him up in a vertical suplex, drops Orton on his feet behind him, and drops him in falling neckbreaker. Styles then runs to the ropes, jumps up to the top, and crashes down on Flair with a Shooting Star Cross Body Press! Batista drops down to the arena floor and picks Styles up from behind. He picks Styles up like he is going to give him a spinebuster and runs him back first into the steel ring post. Styles drops down on his knees favoring his back in a lot of pain. Batista then picks up Raven and rolls him into the ring as Orton gets back up to his feet. Orton stomps on Raven a few times while he is down on the mat, then picks him up to his feet and gives him a sit down spinning neckbreaker. Orton picks Raven up and whips him into the far right corner of the ring where Batista is standing. Orton tags Batista in, Batista gets into the ring, they whip Raven off the ropes, and give him a double hip toss. On the outside AJ Styles finally begins making his way towards his corner until Flair sneaks up and gives him a low blow from behind knocking Styles back down to the concrete floor. Batista picks Raven up by his throat all the way until his entire body is above the mat. Batista holds Raven up in the air then drops him a double handed choke slam. Batista makes an arrogant cover on Raven, 1..2.NO! Raven kicks out and rolls away from Batista and quickly starts to get up using the ropes. Batista walks over to pick up Raven but Raven springs up and gives him a jawbreaker. Batista falls backwards but stays on his feet bent over clutching his mouth. Raven gets back up, charges, and strikes Batista with a knee lift. Orton gets into the ring and charges Raven but Raven drop toe holds Orton down to the mat. Orton and Batista start to get up at the same time while AJ Styles gets up on the ring apron. Orton and Batista get up and charge Raven but before they can do anything Raven ducks and Styles springboards off the top rope and dropkicks both men down to the mat. Styles gets up and goes over to the Gathering’s corner as Raven picks up Orton and gives him the Evenflow DDT!! Raven then picks up Batista and whips him into the near left corner of the ring then tags in Styles. Styles climbs up to the top rope as Raven picks Batista up in a Powerbomb. Styles then leaps the two give Batista a Powerbomb Flipping Neckbreaker Combination, The Death Penalty!!! Styles makes the cover, 1...2..3! The Gathering wins!
JS: “The Gathering pulls out the victory against Evolution and now AJ Styles is the number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship.”
BH: “Wrong grease ball. My sources have informed me before the match that The Gathering or Evolution depending on who won would have their choice of who they want to fight for the Intercontinental Championship.”
JS: “Well that changes things up a little then. We’ll have to stay tuned to eHw Turmoil and Hardcore TV to see what The Gathering decides to do. But nonetheless an impressive victory with a very impressive tag team finishing move.”
BH: “Well grease ball we just found out that someone in The Gathering is going to be challenging for the IC Title, now we are going to find out who they are going to be facing right?”
JS: “Is that match up now?”
BH: “C’mon try and keep up humanoid. Maybe it is time for a thicker set four eyes. It says so right here on the format.”
JS: “Well as you’ll come to know eHw more and more, you’ll see how rarely we actually stick to the format around here.”
**The lights in the arena go red and white as “El Phantasmo and the Chicken-Run Blast-O-Rama [Wine, Women & Song Mix]“ by White Zombie plays and Lance Storm walks through the curtain and holds both of his arms up in the air. Storm makes his way down to the ring with a stern look on his face. Storm slides into the ring and looks around the arena with a look of disgust on his face as the lights go from red and white to flickering on and off.**
“Holla If You Hear Me” is heard and the eHw Intercontinental Champion Scott Steiner walks through the curtain to a huge pop from the crowd. Big Poppa Pump stands at the head of the entryway flexing his huge muscles then begins walking towards the ring. Steiner gets into the ring, walks to the far right corner of the ring, climbs up and stands on the top rope and again flexes his arms which look bigger than ever. Steiner then gets down and points towards the entryway where the voluptuous Pamela Paulshock walks out. Pamela walks down to ringside and has a seat next to the ring announcer. The ring announcer stands up and hands Steiner a microphone, Steiner in turn hands him the IC Title belt.**
Big Poppa Pump: “I heard you running your mouth a few days ago, and you had the nerve to treat one of my favorite freaks in the whole world, like she was a piece of trash. Well no one treats one of Big Poppa Pump’s freaks like that and lives to tell about it. So tonight, after I’m done beating your ass, I’m going to make you kiss that woman’s lovely feet. Don’t get too excited though, cause that is the most play you’ll ever get from any woman, in your entire life. So this goes out to all of my freaks in Vegas. . . Big Poppa Pump is your hook up, HOLLA IF YOU. . .”
Lance Storm jumps Steiner from behind with a running calf kick to the back of his head. Storm jumps up to his feet and stomps on Steiner repeatedly until Steiner rolls under the ropes to the outside. Lance Storm climbs up to the top rope of the far right corner, spits in the direction of Pamela Paulshock, then dives and hit’s a cross body off the top rope to the outside on Steiner. Both men crash into the concrete floor and neither are quick to get up. Storm is the first to get up but has a hobble in his step while Steiner slowly gets up using the steel guardrail. Storm goes to pick up Steiner but Steiner grabs Storm and picks him up in a gorilla press. Steiner walks a couple of steps with Steiner held up in the press, then walks back and drops Storm chest first on the top of the steel guardrail. Steiner takes Storm and goes to whip him into the corner post but Storm reverses and sends Steiner face first into the steel ring post. Steiner falls back a few steps and Storm gives him a belly to back suplex on the concrete floor. Storm picks Steiner up to his knees and puts him in the ring. Storm then walks towards Pamela Paulshock at ringside with an angry look on his face. Storm walks right up to Pamela and picks her up out of her seat by her hair. Pamela starts shrieking in terror but Storm simply folds the chair she was sitting in and throws it into the ring then turns back and climbs up to the top rope. Storm stands on the top rope and waits for Steiner to get back up to his feet and when he does Storm jumps and hits Steiner with a Spin Wheel Kick off the top rope! Storm gets up to his feet and grabs the steel chair he threw in the ring. Storm then takes the chair, unfolds it, places Steiner’s right leg on the seat, and folds the chair back up. Storm then climbs up to the second rope, jumps, but misses crashing down on the chair because Steiner moved out of the way. Steiner takes the chair off of his leg and gets back up to his feet. Storm goes for a Superkick but Steiner blocks it, he grabs Storm’s leg, looks behind him, spins Storm around, grabs him, and gives Storm a Spinning Belly to Belly Suplex on the steel chair!
BH: “Both these guys are smart. Steiner has been working on the chest and back while Storm has been attempting to attack Steiner’s legs. Both men are trying to soften the other up for their signature holds.”
JS: “This is a Submission Match. The match can only end when one man either submits or taps out.”
Storm rolls off of the chair favoring his back while Steiner gets up to his feet and stands over him. Steiner stands next to Storm’s body, flexes his right arm, kisses the peak of the bicep, and drops a big elbow across Storm’s back. Steiner then rolls over on his stomach and does five push ups before getting back up to his feet. Steiner picks up the chair and wedges it between the top and middle turnbuckle of the far left corner of the ring. Steiner picks Storm up, brings him to the opposite corner, then whips Storm as hard as he can into the corner and Storm crashes back first onto the steel chair! Storm falls face first on the mat with both hands behind him favoring his back. Steiner then calls for the end of the match and drags Storm into the middle of the ring. Steiner stands over Storm and goes to lock him in the Steiner Recliner but before he can place both arms over his knees Storm uppercuts Steiner twice then rakes his eyes causing him to release the hold before any pressure can be applied. Storm gets up to his feet while Steiner is crouched down rubbing his yes. Storm pulls Steiner up by the neck, bends him over, and gives him a Cradle Piledriver. Storm slowly gets up still favoring his back, walks over, and grabs the chair. Storm puts the chair back on Steiner’s right leg, places it up on the bottom rope, then springs off the middle rope and drops his entire body on the chair! Steiner sits up yelling in pain as his leg took severe punishment with that blow. Steiner tries crawling away but Storm grabs Steiner’s ankle and pulls him back and again places his leg against the ropes. Storm springboards off the middle rope again but Steiner moves his leg and Storm crashes ass first on the mat sending pain shooting up his back. Steiner takes the chair off of his leg and uses it like a cain to get back up his feet. Storm is on his knees favoring his back and Steiner throws the chair right in Storm’s face. Steiner then lays the chair down, picks Steiner up to his feet, and gives Storm a Flatliner on the chair!! Steiner slides the chair out of the ring, pulls Storm right into the middle of the ring, and locks him in the Steiner Recliner!! Storm yells in pain and after a few seconds is forced to submit! Scott Steiner wins!
JS: “Scott Steiner wins the Submission Match and retains the Intercontinental Championship!”
BH: “And if that isn’t bad enough, now we have to watch this genetic freak take his big chested freak into the ring and make the Canadian ring general kiss her feet. Why won‘t the referee stop this?!”
**Pamela Paulshock gets into the ring and gets a big pop when she bends over to get into the ring. Steiner keeps Storm in the Steiner Recliner as Pamela takes off her left shoe and sticks her foot into Storm’s mouth. Steiner then let’s go of the hold while Pamela puts her shoe back on. The referee hands Steiner the IC Title which he grabs and holds up in the air with one hand while raising the right arm of Pamela Paulshock with the other. Steiner then escorts Paulshock to the back.**
JS: “Well it looks like Big Poppa Pump won’t be spending the night alone in Las Vegas tonight.”
BH: “This is Vegas Styles. Even a peon like you could get some action in this town.”
JS: “Really?”
BH: “No, not really but you could stay in a Holiday Inn Express with some hookers.”
JS: “I guess that will have to do.”
BH: “. . . . . Are you going to tell the humanoids at home about our next match or just sit there and have a wet dream? C’mon grease ball, I think you are letting all of the scattered ass of this town get to you.”
JS: “Well with that suit you could be the new lounge singer at Binion’s.”
BH: “Jealousy will get you nowhere Styles, don’t hate me because I don’t live in the Sears boy’s formal clothing section.”
JS: “Well our next match was made as a result of the arrival and actions of The Beast, Dan Severn and his manager the Living Legend Larry Zybyszko. They arrived on the seen just a short time ago but made an immediate impact by destroying the man Zybyszko hates the most in this business Chris Jericho on their quest to turn eHw into a traditional pure wrestling promotion.”
BH: “They aren’t kidding around either Styles because this past week on Turmoil during a semifinal round match of the King of the Deathmatch Tournament between The Sandman and Mike Awesome that saw the two wrestlers start on top of the eHw Rage in a Cage, Dan Severn sneaked up on The Sandman and threw him off of the steel cage through a reinforced announce table like the one we have. I’m just glad we are here by the entryway and not around the ring.”
JS: “The Sandman was put in the hospital for two days and was told not to wrestle but as we all know here in eHw, nothing can keep the Sandman out of the ring unless he is no longer breathing. So tonight I’m not expecting anything short of a war between these two.”
**Dan Severn’s music comes on and The Beast and Larry Zybyszko walk through the curtain into a sea of boos from the crowd. Severn looks around the ring with a stone cold look on his face while a smirk comes over the face of Larry Zybyszko. The two men calmly walk down to the ring and each get in by walking up the ring ropes. Severn takes off his gray t shirt and towel and holds his arms out and up above his head staring out into the crowd.**
**The lights in the arena then darken as Severn’s music fades and “Enter Sandman” by Metallica begins playing. The lights come back on and The Sandman appears in the crowd holding his Singapore Cain above his head. The Sandman walks down towards ringside through the crowd until he reaches the steel guardrail. The Sandman stands on top of the steel guardrail and pulls out a can of beer. Sandman pops the beer open, chugs it down, and smashes it on his head until he his bleeding from the forehead. Sandman then spit’s the beer at Larry Zybyszko who is standing at ringside and gets down off the guardrail. Sandman walks around the ring with a smile coming on his face as he sees Ken Shamrock sitting at ringside. Sandman then slides into the ring and stands in the near right corner as his music fades and the bell rings.**
The Sandman holds the Singapore Cain in his hands tightly and dares Severn to attack him. Severn walks to the center of the ring and signals for Sandman to bring it. Sandman walks to the center of the ring and goes to hit Severn with the Singapore Cain but Severn catches the Cain in mid swing and holds onto it. Severn and Sandman get into a tug of war over the Cain until Severn rips the Cain out of The Sandman’s hands. Sandman looks in shock as Severn holds the Cain in his hands. Severn holds the Cain up above his head and circles the ring holding the Cain like a trophy. Sandman pulls a can of beer out of the back of his pocket and when Severn throws the Cain down and turns back towards him Sandman smashes Severn on the head with the beer causing it to bust open and slash everywhere including in Severn’s eyes. Severn is temporarily blinded which allows Sandman to pick up his Singapore Cain. Sandman picks it up and while Severn is trying to rub the alcohol out of his eyes Sandman nails him with a Home Run Singapore Swing right across Severn’s face. Severn goes down from the shot and quickly rolls out of the ring where Larry Zybyszko runs over and whips all the alcohol out of Severn’s eyes with the towel Severn brought to ringside which Zybyszko had wet down. Severn gets his vision back and walks around the ring to gain his balance then gets back in the ring by walking up the ring steps. Severn gets back in the ring and The Sandman is standing in the center holding his Singapore Cain. Severn is hesitant to move in on The Sandman until The Sandman holds the Cain out at his side with his right arm, drops it, and kicks it out of the ring.
BH: “The Sandman is showing how stupid he is here. He must have drunken one too many before coming out here tonight. What kind of an idiot would dare Dan Severn to a straight up wrestling match? Does he know who this is? Styles, what in the hell is he doing?”
JS: “I think he is going to prove to Dan Severn why he is the King of eHw, and why eHw isn’t going anywhere, or changing anything.”
BH: “I just hope that cheat Shamrock doesn’t get involved in this match.”
JS: “He’s only here to make sure Zybyszko doesn’t get out of line and cost Sandman this match.”
Severn and Sandman lock up in a grapple in the middle of the ring. Severn spins out and takes Sandman down into a fujiwara arm bar. Severn pulls back on the left arm of Sandman which is the arm that was injured at Turmoil but Sandman gets up on, flips over, wraps his legs around Severn’s head, and takes him over out of the hold with a head scissors takeover. Severn jumps up to his feet out of the head scissors and Sandman rolls up to his feet mildly favoring his left arm. Both men circle the ring a few times then go to lock up again but Sandman ducks it and gets behind Severn. Severn turns around to face Sandman and when he does Sandman kicks him in the stomach and gives him a Swingback DDT. Sandman then rolls out of the ring and onto the ring and onto the ring apron. Sandman holds up his right arm drawing in the applause of the fans then hits Sandman with a springboard senton splash from the ring apron into the ring on Severn. Sandman then mounts Severn and starts delivering hard punches to Severn’s head and face. But, Severn is quick to counter by taking Sandman down with a head scissor as Sandman leans back for one of his punches. Severn lets go of the head scissors, gets up to his feet, and delivers three hard shots with his right knee to Sandman’s right ear and side of his head. Sandman clutches at his ear while Severn picks Sandman up, grabs his left arm, and gives him a Single Arm DDT. Severn gets Sandman down and puts him in a cross arm bar, pulling back as much as he can, tearing at the ligaments and cartilage in The Sandman’s left arm. Sandman yells in pain but sees that his feet are close to the ropes. Sandman places his right foot on the ropes and the referee forces Severn to break the hold. The Sandman gets on all fours favoring his arms as Severn stands in front of Sandman then stands over him. Severn picks Sandman’s head up by the hair and punches Sandman across his face. Severn does this several more times until blood is flowing out of The Sandman’s nose and his face is covered in blood. Severn walks away from Sandman laughing and wiping the blood that he has on his hands across his chest like a badge of honor. Sandman starts to get up using the ring ropes but Severn charges and kicks Sandman right in his left rib cage. Sandman drops down in the fetal position favoring his ribs while Severn springboards off the ropes and drops a knee on top of Sandman’s right rib cage. Sandman rolls away from Severn and rolls himself out of the ring as Severn follows up, stomping the ribs and the left arm of The Sandman. Sandman gets to the outside and crawls under the ring while Severn holds his arms up in the air with a disturbing look on his face. Sandman crawls back out of the ring and brings out two tables on top of each other. Sandman gets them out from under the ring and reaches back under the ring as Severn gets out of the ring and begins heading towards The Sandman. Sandman comes back from under the ring with a garbage can. Severn gets over to the side of the ring The Sandman is on and goes to move in but Sandman throws the garbage can right at Severn. . .but Severn catches it and throws it into the crowd. However, while Severn is throwing the garbage can into the crowd The Sandman grabs one of the tables, picks it up halfway, and rams it into Severn’s stomach. Sandman goes back under the ring and pulls out a garbage can lid and smacks Severn across his face with it knocking the side of right side of Severn’s head into the steel ring post. Severn goes down on all fours clutching at both sides of his head while Sandman opens up both tables. Sandman opens up the tables and places them right next to each other set up perpendicular to the nearest corner. Then out of the corner of his eye Sandman sees his Singapore Cain so he walks over and grabs it. Sandman puts his Cain on the ring apron and walks back towards Severn. Sandman picks up Severn but Severn grabs Sandman by the pants and pulls him face first into the steel guardrail. Sandman hits nose first on the steel guardrail which is already badly damaged. Severn slowly gets up but Sandman pulls himself up using the guardrail and from behind runs Severn face first into the steel ring post busting Severn open. Sandman catches his breath, then puts Severn on the ring apron and climbs up there himself. Sandman then sits Severn on the top turnbuckle facing the entryway and climbs up himself in front of Severn. Sandman goes for a hurricanrana but Severn hooks his legs, holds onto Sandman, and dumps him front first on the ring apron. Sandman doesn’t land too hard and while Severn starts to get down Sandman grabs his Singapore Cain that he placed on the ring apron and nails Severn right between the eyes with it. Sandman places Severn back up on the top turnbuckle and climbs up in front of him again. Zybyszko gets up on the apron and runs towards Sandman but Sandman hits him with the Cain and sends the living legend crashing to the arena floor. Sandman stands on the top turnbuckle in front of Severn, hits him right between the eyes with the Cain again, tosses it in the ring, then gives Severn a FrankenSander off the top rope through two tables at ringside!!! Severn’s lays in the rubble of what used to be two wooden tables as The Sandman very slowly gets up to his feet after landing hard on the concrete floor himself. Sandman takes Severn and puts him back into the ring, then gets back in the ring himself and makes a cover, 1.…2.…NO! Severn gets his foot on the ropes! Sandman hooks that leg and covers Severn again, 1...2.….NO! Severn kicks out! Sandman slowly gets back up to his feet and calls for the end of the match. Sandman grabs the Cain in his hand and waits for Severn to get back up to his feet. Severn, very slowly uses the ropes to get up to his feet and gain his balance. Severn stumbles back and The Sandman spins him around and picks him up for the Last Call but Severn slides down Sandman’s back since it is so sweaty, grabs Sandman from behind, and puts him in the Severn Lock!! Severn locks in the dragon sleeper half and tries to pull Sandman down to wrap his legs around him leaving him with no escape. But Sandman Cains Severn behind his shoulder, moves towards the ropes, and grabs a hold of them. Severn refuses to let go and while Sandman is against the ropes jumps up and wraps his legs around Sandman’s waste while he is standing. Severn pulls back as hard as he can with no results until The Sandman puts his right foot up on the ropes and pushes back. Sandman crashes down on top of Severn and while Severn barely has the hold locked in after having all of Sandman’s weight crash down on him, he doesn’t realize his shoulders are down and the referee counts, 1.…2.….3! The Sandman wins!
BH: “Styles you wanted a war, and you got a war. What a match we just witnessed.”
JS: “It was nothing short of what I expected. That was one of the stiffest, most hard fought match ups I have seen in a match that didn’t have a title at stake in a very long time. These two men just gave every thing that they had in that ring. The Sandman took a page out of his greatest rival Bret Hart’s book to get the pin on that one.”
BH: “I didn’t think he had any brain cells left up there. But that was a very smart way to counter the Severn Lock and pick up the win. He just free falled right on top of Severn while he had the Severn Lock applied and kept his shoulders on the mat until the ref counted to three.”
JS: “I don’t know if it is over between The Sandman and Dan Severn. All I know is that they had better have some more respect for each other after this match, because I respect them both more than ever after that match. But we are going from a match between new bitter rivals, to old bitter rivals. The most personal feud in wrestling history is about to write another chapter here tonight with the eHw World Title on the line in a Chamber of Horrors match. EHw World Champion Bret Hart will put the title on the line against the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels in a match with two steel cages that will be lowered down after both men have entered the ring. ”
BH: “Only pure hatred could drive two sane men into a match like this. And that is exactly what we have here, pure hatred. There is no respect in this match, these men hate each other’s guts. And it is that hatred that has driven them into a match with two steel cages. One is twenty feet high that surrounds ringside. The other is fifteen feet high, but there is a small catch, it is electrified. Earlier today when the cage was lowered members of ComEd power set up wires and generators up to the inner cage that is going to have ten thousand volts of electricity running through it. It isn’t as much as past matches, but keep in mind how many times wrestlers come into contact with the steel cage in any given match up.”
JS: “Don’t forget the wrestlers will have a roll of barbed wire and a roll of razor wire at their disposal. And a wooden ladder is provided if they want to attempt to escape the cages. Now we go to the ring for our ring announcer for our pay per view world title matches, Michael Buffer who is standing safely away from the ring by us for this particular world title match.”
Michael Buffer: “Ladies and Gentlemen it is now time for the first of two main events for the evening. Our first for the night is another chapter in what is undoubtedly considered the most heated feud in the history of professional wrestling. Tonight two men will put their bodies and lives on the line in a Chamber of Horrors match for the HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE WORLD! Are you ready?! Las Vegas, Nevada, ARE YOU READY?! Well then for the thousands in attendance, and the millions watching around the world, ladies and gentlemen, LLLLLEEEETTT’S GET RRREEAADDDDYYY TO RRRRRRRUUUUUMMMMMBBBBBLLLLLLLEEEE!!!!!”
**The fans look above at the two steel cages as “Sexy Boy” hits the crowds attention turns to the entryway as the Heart Break Kid struts through the curtain.**
Michael Buffer: “First, coming to the ring wearing blacked laced with silver. He is one of the most decorated and most all around gifted athletes that this sport has ever seen. A man whose charisma is on a level yet to be reached by anyone that has come before or after him. He hails from Texas‘ number one tourist town of San Antonio and is the leader of the ever so influential Kliq of eHw. Here he is, the first Grand Slam Champion in WWE history, the Showstopper, the Main Event, the Sexy Boy himself, the master of Sweet Chin Music, HBK, the Heart Break Kid, SHHHHAWWNNN MMMMMMIIIIICCCHHAAEELLLLLLSSSSS!!!!!”
**Michaels looks around the arena with an extremely cocky look on his face as the lights in the arena turn to hot pink and purple while “Hitman” comes on and the crowd goes nuts. The lights come back on and Bret Hart walks through the curtain with the eHw World Title around his waste.**
Michael Buffer: “And now, about to make his way down the ring wearing pink and black. He is man known around the world as the greatest technical wrestler in the history of professional wrestling. He hails from a city that is as synonymous with professional wrestling as his own last name, Calgary, Alberta Canada. the man who excellently executes his opponents with his torture like submission hold the Sharpshooter. He is the current reigning and defending five time eHw HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WWWWOOORRRRRLLLDDD!!!!! He is the best there is, the best there was, and the best that there ever will be, wrestling‘s only true Hitman, BRRRETTT HHHHAAAAAARRRRTTTTT!!!!!”
**Bret and Shawn stand at opposite sides of the ring as the two cages are lowered down from the roof of the arena. The inner cage comes down first as members of ring crew and ComEd attach it to the ring and hook it up so 10,000 volts of electricity now runs through the links of the cage. A roll of barbed wire, a roll of razor wire, and a wooden ladder are placed in the ring as the outer cage comes down as all members of ring crew exit ringside. The bell rings, and the match begins.**
Bret and Shawn come out of the corners they were standing in and circle the ring looking around them at both of the cages and even see a few sparks shooting out of the wires wrapped around the cages’ links. Hart and Michaels go to lock up but Michaels backs away at the last minute taunts Hart. Michaels kicks the wooden ladder towards the ropes to keep it out of the way. Michaels and Hart finally do lock up and Hart puts Shawn in a side headlock, but quickly spins around behind Michaels and puts him in a hammer lock. Michaels goes to elbow Bret in the face but Hart ducks the elbow, holds onto the arm with one hand, gets in front of Michaels and gives him a hammer lock body slam. Michaels lands right on his arm, but quickly gets up mildly wincing in pain. Bret and Shawn go to lock up again but Michaels pokes Bret in his left eye. Michaels then strike Hart with a couple of stiff right jabs to his right cheek. Michaels walks to the ropes, carefully bounces off of them, jumps at Hart, and strikes him with a jumping fore arm shot that knocks Hart down to the mat. Michaels then gets on top of Bret’s upper body and puts him in an Eastern Stretch. Michaels keeps him in the hold for about half a minute but releases it and quickly gets up to his feet. Hart starts to get up to his feet and Michaels charges but Bret just sweeps Michaels’ right leg and Michaels falls on his back on the mat. Bret then grabs Michaels’ left leg and puts him in a spinning toe hold. Bret goes around three times but on the forth Michaels sucker punches Bret right across the face causing Bret to release the hold. Michaels gets up puts Bret’s arm over his head and gives him a Side Suplex. Michaels sits up after executing the move and bends and stretches his left leg quickly, then gets up to his feet as Bret rolls over and gets to all fours. Michaels charges and stomps Bret on the back of the head knocking Bret down on his stomach. Bret gets up on all fours again, and Michaels again charges and stomps Bret on the back of his head. Bret gets back up to all fours and Michaels again charges but this time Bret catches the Michaels’ foot, sweeps the other one down taking Michaels down to the mat, and Bret goes for the Sharpshooter! Michaels grabs Hart’s right ankle as he tries to lock in the hold. Michaels pushes up on Bret’s foot knocking Bret into the ropes and almost into the electrified cage but Bret quickly stops himself from being shocked. Michaels gets up to his feet and while Bret is looking at the electrified cage Michaels measures Hart up. Bret turns to face Michaels and Shawn goes to hit Bret with Sweet Chin Music, Bret ducks and Michaels kicks the electrified cage and is shocked!! 10,000 volts runs through Michaels body starting with his right leg as he drops to the mat in pain. Hart pulls Michaels into the middle of the ring by his right leg. Bret picks up both of Michaels’ legs and hits him with a head butt to the groin. Michaels rolls away in pain towards the roll of razor wire. Bret begins walking towards Michaels and grabs his right leg, but Michaels lunges forward grabs the roll of razor wire, gets up to one knee, and throws the entire roll of razor wire into the body of Bret Hart! Bret instinctually catches it and has his chest and arms cut up all over the place by doing it as the sharp edges of the razor wire tear away at anything they touch. Michaels gets up, grabs Bret by the arm, runs and hip tosses Bret Hart into the electrified cage!! Bret is zapped with 10,000 volts running throughout his entire body as he goes back first into the cage. Bret crashes down to the mat and quickly rolls away from the cage while Michaels catches his breath. Michaels crawls towards the wooden ladder, picks it up, and opens it up. Michaels climbs up the ladder to just two steps above the halfway point and turns to face Hart. Michaels holds his arms up, crotch chops the crowd, jumps, and nails Bret with an Elbow Drop off the ladder! Michaels makes the cover, 1.….2.….NO! Bret Hart kicks out!
JS: “Bret Hart being fueled by his hatred of Shawn Michaels and the Kliq. His hatred for what Michaels did to him in Montreal and what he tried to do to him again here in eHw. Bret Hart will not be denied here tonight.”
Michaels picks Bret Hart up to his feet but before he can do anything Bret pushes Michaels about a step away and hits him with a hard right punch, and another, and another. Michaels goes to strike Hart back but Hart blocks the punch and gives Shawn a side back breaker. Hart drags the roll of razor wire towards the far left corner of the ring but not too close, then drags Michaels over there. Bret climbs up to the second rope and sits on the top turnbuckle as Michaels gets up to his feet, and when Michaels does get up Bret jumps and gives Michaels a bulldog off the middle rope onto the roll of razor wire! Hart makes the cover, 1.…2.….NO! Michaels kicks out and pushes Bret off of him. Michaels gets up to his feet with cuts on his forearms and stomach. He goes to punch Bret but Bret blocks it and nails him with a hard right fist that knocks Michaels down to one knee. Bret moves in to do something to Michaels but Michaels hits Bret with a low blow and pulls him down to the mat. Michaels climbs up to the sixth step of the ladder as Hart slowly gets up to his feet, Michaels looks behind him, sees Hart getting up, and jumps back crashing down on Bret with a double axe handle smash off the ladder. Michaels gets up to his feet, folds up the wooden ladder, and leans against the near right corner with it waiting for Hart to get back up. Michaels bangs his left foot against the mat a couple of times as Hart finally gets up. Hart turns to face Michaels and Michaels tosses him the ladder. Bret catches it and Michaels goes to Superkick the ladder into Bret Hart but Hart moves out of the way and Michaels just hits the ladder. Bret gets up next to Michaels and gives him a Russian Legsweep, but keeps his leg hook and rolls over. Bret gets Michaels up and gives him a Russian Legsweep on the ladder! Bret keeps his leg hooked, rolls over, and picks Michaels up again. Bret gets Michaels up and gives him a Release Russian Legsweep into the electrified cage!! Michaels bounces off the electrified cage and crashes face first on the mat and shows no signs of movement afterward. Bret sees his opportunity and crawls towards the ladder. Bret picks it up and opens it up close to the cage. Bret slowly climbs up the ladder, he gets close to the top as Michaels starts go move on the mat and gets up on all fours. Bret gets to the top of the ladder and realizes he has to jump to the next cage to not get electrocuted. Bret looks down as sees Michaels starting to climb the ladder under him. Bret then sees the top of the inner cage isn’t wired so Bret takes a step on top of the inner cage and jumps to the out cage grabbing a hold of the links. Michaels climbs up the ladder as Bret begins climbing the outer cage which is the side closest to the end of the entryway aisle. Michaels gets on top of the ladder as Bret gets half his body over the top of the outer cage. Michaels does think twice, he jumps, and splashes Bret Hart causing both men fall twenty feet to the arena floor!!! Both men stay down for well over two minutes with only minor movements occurring. Michaels is the first one to start getting up using the outer cage to assist himself. Bret soon follows suit and both men very very very slowly get up to their feet at about the same time. Bret goes to punch Michaels but Michaels drops down and again low blows the Hitman. Michaels then takes Bret and sets him up for a Piledriver but Bret picks him up and gives him a sidewalk slam and holds onto Michaels’ legs. Bret takes Shawn and locks him in the Sharpshooter!! Bret facing the inner cage and Michaels faces the outer cage yelling in pain. Michaels being close enough to it grabs the outer cage and pulls himself up on it to relieve the pressure of the hold. Michaels pulls himself put be at even height with Bret Hart crouching down. Michaels then with all of his might pushes off of the outer cage and pushes Bret front first into the electrified steel cage!! Hart got his hands up so his face luckily didn’t hit the cage but he still goes down in pain after 10,000 volts run through his body for a second time. Michaels very slowly gets up using the cage and still limping. Michaels has lean against and hold the outer cage just to stand up right. Bret Hart takes over almost two minutes to get back up on his feet and when he does Michaels pushes off the cage, lunges forward, and nails Bret Hart with Sweet Chin Music!!! Both men are down and after a brief period Michaels pushes himself of the cage on top of Hart to make the cover, 1.…..2.……3! Shawn Michaels wins!
JS: “Oh My God! We have a new eHw World Heavyweight Champion!! Shawn Michaels has beaten Bret ‘the Hitman’ Hart in only the third ever Chamber of Horrors Match!”
BH: “I am going to need a Mylanta I.V after seeing that match. What punishment both men inflicted on each other in that match. But in the end it was Michaels willing to put his body on the line and take a twenty foot fall to stop Bret Hart from exiting the cage that made the difference. If he wouldn’t have done that, the match would have been over. Then Michaels made the extra effort to pull himself up when we thought he was done, and just take Bret Hart’s head off with that Superkick. The Hitman will be hearing Sweet Chin Music in his head for the next two months.”
JS: “Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels just showed why they are two of the greatest of all time in this business. Tonight, Shawn Michaels wanted it more and he is now a two time Undisputed eHw Heavyweight Champion of the World.”
BH: “Michaels showed the world just how much more he wanted it. The difference in this match came when Michaels put his body on the line to stop Bret from escaping the cages and in the process took nearly a twenty foot fall down to the concrete floor. He pulled himself up and managed to get the most hard fought win of his entire career.”
**The cages are lifted back up to the top of the arena as Triple H and Stephanie McMahon run down to the ring. Triple H picks Michaels up and puts his arm around his neck to help him walk to the back as Stephanie McMahon grabs the World Title at puts it over Michaels’ right shoulder and holds it up their as both her and Triple H help Michaels to the back. Medics come out and help Bret Hart up to his feet and help him to the back as over a dozen members of ring crew flood the ring in preparation for the next match. An intermission is held so the ring can be properly prepared.**
JS: “Our next match, is a match that has never been seen here in eHw or in the United States for that matter. It is a match that was imported from the FMW promotion in Japan that was used to settle the most heated feud in that company’s history between it’s own and members of IWA Puerto Rico in the early to mid nineties.”
BH: “Don’t try and make it sound sentimental Joey. This match is what it is labeled as, Hardcore Hell. I’ve seen enough electricity for one night, but I’m going to be seeing more as two sides of the ring will have electrified barbed wire ropes. The other two sides have no ropes at all but have these boards stretching the entire side of the ring laced with C Four explosives, barbed wire, nails, and broken glass. What did ring crew do, clear out every hardware and farming supply store in the area?”
JS: “They just might have because you forgot to mention one critical fact about this match. At a certain point in the match, the ring is rigged to explode no matter who is in or around the ring. As you see the fans are being moved back about ten feet from where they were for every other match. That is why we are in a stadium for this show, because of the excess room and the fact it is outdoors and all of the smoke that will rise up will need somewhere to go, and we didn’t want it just going into the lungs of our kind, paying fans at ringside.”
BH: “Aka, we wanted to avoid a lawsuit. My question is, how after being blown up are Mike Awesome and Al Snow going to be able to continue the match?”
JS: “I’d imagine they’d try and win the match before the bombs go off so they can clear out of their and only their opponent will be blown up.”
BH: “There is about as much chance of that happening as you winning at any game you play in the casino later tonight. Just like all these humanoids in attendance Joey, you’re a natural born loser.”
JS: “I’ll be sure to tell my shrink you said that. Anyway, we understand that Mene Gene Okurlend is standing by with Al Snow, so lets go to the back. Take it away Gene.”
BH: “Yeah earn your pay baldy.”
Gene Okurlend: Al Snow, you're moments away from taking on Mike Awesome in a Hardcore Hell match to determine this year's King of the Deathmatches, and most importantly to name the number one contender for the World title at Cyberslam.
Al Snow: Hardcore Hell seems very appropriate for my battle with Mike Awesome tonight as I look to finish off what I started at Back to the Extreme when I beat him to qualify for the World title tournament. We both know what he did next round, cost me my match against Steiner. But he failed to finish the job. Yes he took me out of that tournament, but he should have finished me off when he had the chance. He could have ended my career if he felt like it and it would be him facing someone else tonight instead of me. That's the two biggest mistakes he has made since EHW's return and tonight he will pay for those mistakes because nobody messes with the Al Snow of 2004. Mene Gene I said in the beginning that 2004 would be my year, and that's a promise I intend on keeping, no matter who or what gets in my way. I'll give credit where it is due though, Mike Awesome has earned his spot in this final round, I can't take that away from him, but I can take away the same thing he took away from me, a shot at the title. But this time it's all nice and legal. As far as Jeff Jones goes, you better keep your nose out of this because if you don't then don't go crying to Paul should anything happen to you. I know you have a habit of being a difference maker, but if you've been watching me lately, you know that I always come prepared in case someone tries to get an advantage in the numbers game. So consider yourself warned, Jeff. As for you Awesome, the time as come for us to end this and to make the dreams of one of us come true. We know what awaits the victor. All there is to do now is to step inside the ring and go at it like two drunken bulls in a china shop. I know you'll get your shots in and make things hard for me, but the bottom line is that once it's over, after all the dust has settled, only one of us will be going to Cyberslam, and that one person is me. I've been on a role lately and I don't plan on slowing down any time soon. The World title is in range, however I got one more road block to break down before I can get to it. All I can say now is enjoy this moment, Awesome. Being in the finals of this year's tournament will be your highlight of 2004, because after I teach you a lesson, I will go to Cyberslam and put the EHW World championship belt around my waist. I will take it from who ever is holding it come that time, but until then, you know what they say about pay back. I'll see you in the ring.
Gene Okurlend: Ladies and gentleman, this match won't be for the weak at heart and knowing the history between these two it could be a little tough more for verteran EHW fans to handle. Back to ring side.
**The cameras go back to ringside and the ring and ringside area are set up for the Hardcore Hell Match. Two wooden boards stretching the width of the ring are placed on the left and right sides of the ring covered with barbed wire, nails, and broken glace with C4 scattered all over it. The ring only has barbed wire ropes on the near and far sides of the ring with wires running up and down them hooked up to generators on the outside causing 10,000 volts of electricity to run through the ropes. There is no ring apron, as under the ring thick wires are hooked up to explosives in every corner of the ring and in the middle.**
BH: “Joey I’m almost afraid to witness what I’m about to see.”
JS: “You and me both weasel. But there is no other match more fitting for the two wrestlers that have made it to the finals. Mike Awesome and Al Snow have been feuding since eHw reopened in March. They have had intense battles inside the Steel Henge, in the first ever Elimination Chamber, and have been at each other’s throat almost every week for the last two and a half months. Both men had a long road to the King of the Deathmatch Finals, and tonight one of them will step out of the mid card, and into the limelight. With a win here tonight comes the riches of being a member of the main event squad. The winner will receive the King of the Deathmatches trophy, will be crowned the first Deathmatch Champion of the Desire Era, and will earn a guarenteed spot in the main event of eHw’s biggest pay per view of the year, Cyberslam. And before we go to this classic match, we are going to take a look back at the Number Five match in the Top Five list of Cyberslam’s greatest matches.”
Cyberslam Countdown: #5
Flaming Hell in a Cell, Casket, Buried Alive Match: The Undertaker vs. Steve Austin
JR: “The Hell in a Cell will actually be that, as the entire cage will be on fire during the match. And the cage has been extended to add part of the entryway for the burial ground."
**Ring crew digs a hole big enough for the casket and a smoothed out section to push the casket up to the top of it.**
JR: "The only way to win the match is to put your opponent in that casket, then bury that casket in that burial site that we just saw made by ring crew. That is the only way to win. It is going to be brutal and there will be no winner, only a survivor."
**Glass shatters and Steve Austin's music hits. He comes out to the cage gets in it, walks over the heap of dirt/burial site, gets in the ring and goes to all four corners and raises his arms up in the air and shakes his head rapidly. The lights go out, American Bad Ass by Kid Rock comes on and the Undertaker rides out to the ring on his motorcycle towing the casket. He unhooks the casket, pushes it around the burial site and places it at ringside, but before he can get in the ring Stone Cold does a suicide dive through the ropes and nails him to the floor!!**
As Austin gets back up to his feet the entire Hell in a Cell cage is light goes up in flames and is on fire. Undertaker gets to his feet, Austin hits him with a hard right hand and tries to whip the Undertaker into the flaming cage but the Undertaker stops in his track and whips Austin into the casket. Undertaker picks him up and puts him back in the ring, Undertaker goes underneath the ring and pulls out a table and puts it in the ring as well as himself. Undertaker opens up the table and places it near the corner of the ring, but when he turns around Austin hits him with a hard right uppercut that lays Undertaker on the table. Austin goes on the apron of the ring and climbs up to the top rope, but before he can do anything The Undertaker sits and stands up on the table, Austin goes for a left hook but the Undertaker ducks, grabs Austin by the throat and gives him a One Handed Chokeslam through the table!! Undertaker thinks that the match is over and tells the ref to open up the casket, after it is opened the Undertaker puts Austin inside of the casket and closes the top. He then takes the casket and starts pushing it up the burial site, but he has a hard time getting it all the way up, he losses his footing and the casket goes the opposite way taking the Undertaker on a ride all the way back to the ring! The Undertaker falls to his feet and when he gets up the casket lid flies open and Austin comes flying out of it! He jumps on the Undertaker driving him down on his back and hammers him with six or seven right hands to the side of his head. Austin walks over to the other side of the ring avoiding the flaming cage, he gets a chair and brings it over to where the Undertaker is, the Taker gets to his knees and Austin nails him with the chair over the back and then nails him over the head. Austin picks the Undertaker up, and with the top lifted slams the Undertaker into the casket. Austin the tries to get the casket up the burial site but he can't and when he losses his footing he gets run over by the casket which goes back the other way down the hill and crashes into the ring.
JR: "Both men have tried to get that casket up the hill, and both have failed. I guess the Undertaker is wishing he hadn't added that stipulation to the match."
JG: "You can say that again, Austin is going to be so tired after this match he won't have enough strength for his balding beauty Debra. Or Mrs. Plastic Surgery as I call her. She is going bald ya' know."
JR: "Would you please focus on this match, we all know about Debra's age and about all her plastic surgery she has had, and that she combs her bangs down so low because she is going bald. But we have to focus. . . "
JG: "Ross, please, we have to focus on this match."
The Undertaker climbs out of the casket and falls to the floor, Austin hobbles towards him, Undertaker gets up and clotheslines Austin down. Undertaker sets Austin up to whip him into the flaming cage, but Austin reverses and the Undertaker crashes into the flaming cage! He bounces off with the back of his shirt still with flames on it and Austin hits the Stunner!! Austin gets back up to his feet, he puts the Undertaker in the casket, and starts it up the hill, after trying he yells at the ref to come and help him and with the refs help and after a few minutes they finally get it up the burial site to the top! Austin does a little celebrating, but then when he turns around the top of the casket shoots open and hits him in the head. The Undertaker stand up and grabs Austin, he nails Austin with several hard punches to the stomach, and closes the casket and lays Austin on top of it. The Undertaker climbs on top of the casket with him, he picks Austin up and . . .TOMBSTONES HIM THROUGH THE CASKET!!!!! The Undertaker gets up and shoves the casket down the hole and shoves some dirt on it! The Undertaker wins!!
JR: "Good God Almighty! Good God Almighty! Good God Almighty! The Undertaker just tombstoned Austin through the casket and buried him alive!"
JG: "Well, this was his kind of match and the American Bad Ass came through and did what he promised he would do and that is bury Austin alive."
JS: “Wow, that match brings back some fond memories for me weasel.”
BH: “Hmm, I would have watched that show but I think I had some laundry to do that day. Maybe I had a electrolysis appointment.”
JS: “A lot has changed in eHw since then. That was an original classic hardcore battle that set the tone and tonight we are going to have another one between these two bitter rivals. Now it is time for the introductions so we turn it back over to Michael Buffer.”
**As the fans look at all what has been done to the ring “The Zoo” by Bruce Dickinson plays and Mike Awesome and Jeff Jones walk through the curtain to nothing but boos from the crowd.**
Michael Buffer: “It is now time for the final match of eHw‘s infamous, world renown, King of the Deathmatch Tournament. Tonight the two men in the finals are two men that have been locked in one of the most intense feuds in the recent memory of the eHw fans. Tonight they look to step out of the mid card and into the spotlight at the main event of the biggest pay per view of the year, Cyberslam Three. First to come out, accompanied by his manager, the man formally known as the extreme official, Judge Jeff Jones. He is a man that is know throughout the world as the most athletic, and agile big man the sport of professional wrestling has ever seen. He’s a former FMW Champion, a former WWE Hardcore Champion, and a former two time ECW Heavyweight Champion of the WWOORRRLLLDD!! Hailing from Tampa, Florida, he is the Career Killer, the Master of the Awesome Bomb, GLADIATOR MIKE AAWWWEESSSSSOOOMMMMMMMEEEE!!!!!”
Michael Buffer: “And his opponent. He comes to the ring tonight from his hometown of Lima, Ohio. He is the leader of one of the most infamous backstage stables in wrestling The J.o.B Squad and was the head trainer on the ground breaking show tough enough. He has held every accolade eHw has to offer with the exception of one, and with a win here tonight will be one step closer to achieving his career long goal. Here he is, the most beloved superstar on the eHw roster, the master of the Snow Plow, the leader of the Extreme Task Force, AAALLLLL SSNNNOOOWWWWWW !!!!!”
The music stops playing and both men walk to the center of the ring and face off with each other. Awesome trash talks Al for a few seconds until Al pushes Awesome a few steps back. Awesome steps up and pushes Al back and is met with a slap to the face. Awesome goes to hit Snow back but Al blocks the punch and hits Awesome with a standing dropkick knocking Awesome down to the mat. Snow picks Awesome up by the hair and gives him another standing dropkick and Awesome falls backwards towards the electrified barbed wire but stops just within inches of being shocked. Snow gets up and charges Awesome but Awesome takes Snow down with a scissor kick right to the face. Snow is stopped in his tracks and favors his face, Awesome follows up with a running clothesline that takes Snow down to the mat. Awesome stands above Snow, then jumps up in the air as high as he can and leg drops Snow across his throat. Awesome gets up to his feet and pulls Snow up to his by his hair. Awesome punches Snow a few times, then points over to the left side of the ring. Awesome sets Snow up for an Awesome Bomb but when Al picks Snow up for it, Snow counters by dropping back down and giving Awesome a DDT. Snow gets up to his knees, grabs Awesome by his hair, and punches him repeatedly in the face, then gets up and picks Awesome up with him. Snow walks Awesome up to the electrified barbed wire ropes on the near side of the ring and tries to ram Awesome face first into them but Awesome drops down to one knee and wraps both his arms around Snow’s leg to stop him. Snow keeps tugging on Awesome’s hair to try and pull him into the electrified barbed wire until Awesome gives him a low blow. Snow lets go of Awesome and walks away from him favoring his groin. Awesome gets up and immediately gives Snow a Chestbreaker. Awesome picks Snow up and whips him towards the electrified barbed wire but Snow drops down to all fours after Awesome lets go stopping himself from coming into contact with the electrified barbed wire ropes. Snow starts to get up and Awesome charges, Snow picks Awesome up as to give him a spinebuster but instead drops Awesome chest first on the electrified barbed wire ropes!! Sparks shoot up all around Awesome as 10,000 volts of electricity run through his body. Snow pulls Awesome off the barbed wire by his tights and rolls him up for a pin attempt, 1.….2...NO! Awesome kicks out! Awesome slowly starts getting up but as he does Snow runs at him and gives him a swinging neckbreaker. Snow gets up and points to the explosion board on the right side of the ring. Snow puts his hand to his ear to signal that he can’t hear the crowd, and the crowd pops huge for him. Snow picks Awesome up and brings him to the edge of the right side of the ring. Snow gets Awesome up and goes for another standing dropkick but Awesome swats Snow’s legs out of the way and Snow lands hard on the mat. Awesome picks Snow up from behind and gives him a Release German Suplex out of the ring onto the barbed wire, nail, and broken glass covered explosion board!!!
JS: “Oh My God! Al Snow just landed shoulder and neck first on an explosion board covered with barbed wire, nails, and broken glass!! He might be dead in there, but we can’t see a thing with all of the smoke that has just covered ringside.”
BH: “Get used to seeing that in this match grease ball. They don’t call him the career killer for nothing. Mike Awesome is going to show the world why he is the Gladiator of professional wrestling, and he is going to take his stop at the top of eHw in this match. You just watch stupy.”
Smoke rises up to the sky on the right side of the ring and when the dust settles Snow is laying in the middle of the board with burn marks on his arms and back with his tights slightly ripped. Awesome is on all fours in the ring catching his breath and favoring his chest. Snow rolls off of the board with broken glass sticking to his body in the process. Awesome gets down out of the ring and walks across the board and starts to pick Snow up on the outside. Awesome picks Snow up in a gorilla press, walks across the board, and throws Al back into the ring. While on the outside Jeff Jones runs over to Awesome and hands him a chair and a bottle of water. Awesome puts the chair in the ring and pours some of the water into his mouth, then dumps the rest on his head and chest. Awesome gets back in the ring with the chair, he unfolds it, and sits it in waiting for Snow to get back up to his feet. Awesome taunts Snow while he is getting up and as Al gets up to his feet in a very wobbly manner Awesome gets up and folds up the chair. Awesome pulls the chair back over his head and smashes Snow on top of his head with it knocking Snow down to one knee. Snow starts to get up and Awesome strikes him with it again, right on top of his head which drops Snow down to two knees. Awesome pulls the now heavily dented chair back over his head, he goes to hit Snow again when he gets back up on his feet but Snow catches the chair, pulls it from Awesome’s hands, drops it down behind him, then grabs Awesome and gives him a T-Bone Suplex on the chair! Snow takes a few seconds to catch his breath, then yells out for more chairs. Members of rings crew toss two chairs into the ring which Snow opens up and places across from each other with the seats slightly over lapping. Snow picks Awesome up, steps into his body, and gives him a Samoan Drop in front of the two chairs. Snow takes the dented chair and lays it on top of Awesome. Snow stands on top of the two chairs, gains his balance, then moonsault off of them and splashes perfectly on the chair and Mike Awesome! Snow makes a cover with the chair still on top of Awesome, 1.…2.…NO! Awesome kicks out! Snow gets up and tries to pick the chair up off of Awesome but Awesome grabs the chair and won’t let go. Awesome and Snow each pull at the chair back and forth with all of their strength until Mike Awesome suddenly lets go of the chair and Snow goes falling back first into the electrified barbed wire!! Snow walks off of the barbed wire and falls to both his knees yelling in pain as Awesome gets up to his feet and grabs Snow by the hair. Awesome stands on top of the two chair and puts Snow’s head between his legs. Awesome picks Snow up and gives him a Sit-Down Awesome Bomb through the two chairs!! The chairs are both broken and mangled and the referee quickly slides them out of the ring. Awesome is favoring his chest since it has taken while Snow yells in pain while favoring his back. Awesome finally rolls over and covers Snow, 1.…2.….NO! Snow kicks out and pushes Awesome off of him. Awesome slowly gets up to his feet while Snow is having trouble just getting up to all fours. Awesome drags Al over to the left side of the ring and points to the explosion board on the outside. Awesome puts Snow’s head between his legs and picks him up for a Running Awesome Bomb, Awesome runs towards the edge of the left side of the ring but Snow slides down Awesome’s back right as they reach the edge. Awesome turns around and Snow locks up both off Awesome’s arms and gives him the Trapping Head butts, then pushes him out of the ring and on the explosion board covered in barbed wire, nails, and broken glass!!!
JS: “Oh My God!! Snow just dropped Awesome right onto that explosion board! Both men have been put through hardcore hell, and the match isn’t even over!”
BH: “I haven’t seen two people go at each other like this since my first divorce hearing.”
The smoke clears ringside and Al Snow sits on the edge of the left side the ring and drops down onto the board careful not to step on any of the nails sticking up. Snow picks Awesome up and puts him into the ring and gets back into the ring himself as sirens start going off throughout the stadium. Snow gets back into the ring and goes for a pin on Awesome, 1.…2.…..NO! Awesome barely kicks out as Snow starts to get up to his feet. Snow starts to pick Awesome up when Judge Jeff Jones walks across the board on the left side of ringside and gets into the ring. Jones yells at Snow until Snow walks up to him and grabs him by his right year. Snow looks to the crowd to see what he should do with Jones and doesn’t see Jones tosses his gavel down right in front of Awesome. Snow kicks Jones in the crotch and gives him a Snow Plow!! Snow gets up and holds his arms up in the air but when he does Awesome grabs the gavel, gets up to his feet, and breaks it on the back of Snow’s head! Awesome then bends Al over and points to the electrified barbed wire ropes, Awesome picks Snow up, runs at the ropes, but right before Awesome can release Snow. . . . . . .
B O O M ! ! ! ! THE RING EXPLODES! ! !
Very thick smoke rises up covering the entire ringside area and slowly rises up into the sky as the fans in the stadium all rise up to their feet going absolutely insane at what they just saw. Awesome and Al Snow are both laid out in the ring showing no signs of movement as the referee is crouched down towards the left side of the ring. A full two minutes goes by until Al Snow is the first person to show signs of motion. Snow very very slowly gets up to his feet and starts to pick up Mike Awesome who appears to be limp. Snow pulls Awesome up with all of his strength and as he gets him up Awesome knees Snow in his midsection three times. Awesome takes Snow from his bent over position, picks him up, and gives him a Running Awesome Bomb!! Snow lands hard on the mat as Awesome makes a cover, 1.…..2.…..NO! Snow kicks out! Awesome yells at the referee to count again, 1.….2.…..NO! Snow kicks out again! Awesome is on both of his knees in disbelief. He gets to his feet, yells at the referee, and slowly picks Snow up to his feet. Awesome points at the electrified barbed wire ropes, then whips Snow towards them. But Al hangs onto Awesome’s arm, he pulls Awesome into him, strikes him with a high kick to the chest, and gives Awesome the Snow Plow!!! Snow makes the cover, 1.……2.…….3! Al Snow wins!!
JS: “OH MY GOD!! Al Snow wins! Al Snow is the winner of the Two Thousand Four eHw King of the Deathmatch Tournament!”
BH: “NO! NO! Not him! Anyone but that ham and egger!”
JS: “Oh shut up weasel! This couldn’t happen to a more deserving person! I am proud to announce to the world that the winner of the Deathmatch Title and the man going to the main event of Cyberslam is none other than the leader of the Extreme Task Force, Al Snow!”
**Hardcore Holly, Victoria, Shane McMahon, Stacy Keibler, and Glen Gillberti make their way down to the ring as Al Snow’s music plays and the fans in the arena are popping the loudest they have all night. The entire Extreme Task Force gets into the ring as Al Snow is presented with a huge King of the Deathmatch Trophy as well as the eHw Deathmatch Title belt. The show goes off the air as Hardcore Holly and Gillberti raise Snow above their shoulders with Snow holding the trophy up in one hand, and the Deathmatch Title in the other.**
