The 20th dynasty marked the last dynasty of the Egyptian New Kingdom period. During this dynasty, the Egyptian economy went steadilly down hill.The pharoahs of this dynasty were all named Ramses but very few of them were able to meet the greatness of Ramses 2. The last Pharoah of this dynasty, Ramses XIL, woukld abdicate in favour of his priests and during the Third Intermediate Period, Upper and Lower Egypt would be ruled by the high priests of Amun.
