It is very easy to transport back into the day of our ancestors when visiting Mountain Homeplace. Once your tour begins, there is nothing modern to be seen. Even the interpreters are dressed in authentic period clothing. It is a very relaxing, peaceful atmosphere. A wealth of insight into the daily lives of our Johnson Co. ancestors can be gained during this tour.
