VLAD ARISEN
I was greatly saddened when I heard the news of Vlad's death and was informed that his head had been severed and sent to Constantinople where it was displayed as a gruesome trophy by the Sultan of the Turks.

I would not discover the terrible truth until years later. Vlad was not actually killed, but as he lay dieing in the field, a gypsy lady named Liandra walked past. He begged for her help, but in anger, she reminded him of how cruel he had been to her people. impaling and torturing them for his amusement. Vlad told Liandra it would be worse for her if she did not help him. The gypsy offered to help Vlad, but told him that he may very well regret it. She revealed herself to be a vampire and attacked a screaming Vlad, biting him upon the neck.

Liandra immediately regretted her decision as Vlad arose, reborn as a vampire. He laughed with an unholy laughter and made a vow that the world would tremble at the mention of his name. "What have I done? What have I done?" Liandra cried upon the bloody field.

Vlad ordered Liandra to send the severed head of Ozem, dressed in his own cap, to Constantinople to the Sultan with a letter that Vlad had been defeated and beheaded by the Turks.

Vlad Dracula had been reborn as the Lord of the Vampires.
