One winter evening in 1476, Vlad was returning home from battling the Turks. His men had all been killed, but he had put up a glorious battle and sent the enemy running.
The wind was bitterly cold and the snow was blinding. Vlad was ambushed and mortally wounded by two Turkish warriors by the names of Ozem and Bismallah.
