Wonder what happened to our former Miss Jeffersontowns? Some went on to become Miss Kentucky. One even went on to become Miss America. But all of them have grown into accomplished women to be proud of. Just see for yourself!

Monica Hardin, Miss Jeffersontown 2001

Monica went on to win the title of Miss Kentucky 2001. During her year of service she was the Official Spokesperson for the Kentucky Department of Agriculture's "No If's, And's, or Butt's - It's the Law" teen anti-smoking campaign and had the opportunity to speak to children at over 200 Kentucky schools. After relinquishing her crown, Monica returned to the University of Louisville to complete her education. She graduated in May 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications. She models and does runway shows around Louisville, and in July will become the traffic correspondent for WLKY-TV.

Ginger Orr Boone, Miss Jeffersontown 2000

Ginger graduated from the University of Louisville Brandeis Law School in 2001. Since then she has been practicing real estate law in Louisville for a Fortune 500 company. Ginger continues to serve as an advocate for abused children. She served on the board of the Miss Jeffersontown pageant until her 2004 marriage to Bradley Boone, and relocating to Alabama to be with her new husband. Bradley is a doctoral student pursuing his degree in Pharmacy at Samford University. Ginger passed the Alabama bar and is now continuing to practice real estate law there. In 2006, she will serve as a judge for the Miss Jeffersontown 2007 Scholarship Pageant.

Heather French was the first woman from Kentucky to win the title of Miss America. Crowned in 2000, Heather spent her year of service speaking to the issues surrounding our nation's veterans. Heather's success as Miss America is one of the most notewrothy in the organization's history. After her year of service as Miss America Heather returned to Kentucky and married Lt. Governor Steve Henry. They reside in Louisville with their two daughters, Harper Renee and Taylor August. Heather is currently a professional speaker and still focuses a great deal of her time on veteran's issues. She was instrumental in the passage of the Homeless Veterans Assistance Act of 2001, established the Heather French Foundation for Veterans, and also serves as its executive director. Heather is also heavily involved with the National Homeless Veterans Assistance Advisory Council. Heather also authors, illustrates, and publishes children's books.
