A TRUCKERS PRAYER

 Dear Lord as I climb in,
 this big rig that I drive,
    Keep me alert on this run,
     and help me to survive.
      Even though the run is long,
         grant me time to rest along the way,
       so that I will wake refreshed,
       and ready to start a new day.
         When four wheelers do dumb things,
         grant me patience on the road,
       guide me to my destination,
       to safely deliver my load.
      Help me make it safely home,
        to the ones I love,
      till You send my last dispatch
      to be with You above.
 Amen.
